[Q] Problem with KitKat and Xposed

Hello, I am successfully running rooted KitKat and trying to get the g2 xposed to work. I don't get any errors installing and applying xposed or downloading modules, but when I restart my device it just says that the latest xposed framework is not currently active. Have tried reinstalling the framework and the modules many times to no avail. Anyone else having trouble or a fix?

It is very annoying having this update as I have gotten used to my menu button on the left and back on the right, as well as 380dpi (can't fix the camera and messaging apps without xposed)

Seems it's a know issue on the Xposed thread. I can confirm it doesn't work for me either and I'm hoping for a fix soon.

the current version of xposed (as of this post) does not work with the LG G2 variation of kitkat. The next version of xposed will. However, the "g2 xposed" module will also have to be updated...

I miss the you tube full screen mode for now and also hate too many notification on the status bar. Rest everything love the Kitkat

Quickmemo stopped working

I was unable to Launch my Quickmemo. I'm on stock kitkat rom, rooted. Anyone who can help? What are the processes/apps that control Quickmemo? Maybe I accidentally deleted/greenified/modified some essential system apps.
Also, the following were the things I'm playing with in the past days:
1. Latest Dorimanx kernel
2. Xposed framework with the following modules: app settings, gravity box (kk) and greenify
Maybe uninstalling some of them may work. Thanks.

I believe I need to remove TowelRoot to get my phone to function properly again. I really loved having towel root but somethings are not right about my note3. This weird behavior started about a month ago. I had been using towel root without any issues for about 4-5 months|! I noticed that when ever I connected my Note 3 to any computer, the usb notification would not show up on my phone. It would charge but I had no way to access files on my phone thru any pc.
Also my phone would not ring or vibrate when I received a call. So I am looking to remove towel root and go back to stock in hopes that it would fix my issues, then hopefully reapply towel root to get back the functionality i want. I realize that I may not be able to get towel root to work again, and that is a chance |I am willing to take. but I need my phone to ring and get access via usb when I connect to any of my desktops.
The only items installed after towel root were the Xposed installer and the following modules:
Allow Long SMS
Blurred System UI
Enable Call Recording
Fake ID fix
GoSMS Module
HideNoPasswords
Instragram Downloader
Keepchat
Restore Input Method animations
Vine Downloader
Wanam Exposed
Wi-Fi--Pwd
So If I remove Towel Root would I be able to perform a factory reset with out any issues?

I believe it could be one of the Xposed modules causing your problems...I recommend you try uninstalling them and see if it clears up. If you want to go completely back to stock...see this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2483380

[Q] How can I block Android 5 OTA and remove notification

I'm currently running rooted stock + xposed modules + TWRP. Today, I received a persistent notification "System update available. Android 5.0 System Update". I don't want to update to Lollipop right now. What is the best way to block the update and remove the notification?
I've tried a few things from other threads (other phones, specific ROMs, etc), but none of them have worked.
I assume the OTA would fail anyway with the custom recovery?

Install Gravity Box. Use the 'Ongoing Notifications Blocker' under 'Statusbar tweaks' to block 'Google Play Services'. It has an icon similar to the icon the notification comes with.

Thanks for both of the replies. I used the first suggestion since I already had gravity box installed. It worked great.

xposed modules ****ing up texting

So I really started getting in to the xposed modules recently but I found when I update to the newest framework on my Note 4 (T-mobile) I cannot send txt messages. I can recieve them, I can make calls, I can recieve calls. But I can not send texts.
Anyone have any ideas?

Probably a module you installed that breaks some functionality. Disable them all, reboot, and see if it's fixed. If so, re-enable one of those mods, reboot, and test. If still not working, disable that mod again, re-enable another, reboot and test again. Repeat until you find the problematic mod

I would try that, but I don't have any modules installed. Its literally just the framework

Bump, anyone have an idea?

Uninstall and try again maybe?
