Unlock Huawei E220 Turbo 3G modem

Made this one in the wrong place, cant seem to find the delete buton
Any one know how to unlock huawei e220?
So im not bound to one operator.
Didnt get mutch from google

You have to enter the IMEI from the modem, cost just 10 euro.

I want that to, dont want to use the crappy telia connection that my job gives me and my E220 is lockt.

Regarding the E160 I followed this tutorial, but the dump file does definitely not contain the unlock code as clear text.
In the comments of the linked tutorial there's a guy who has uploaded the dump files from before (commercially) unlocking his E160G and after including the unlock code, but it seems like the E160 uses some more complex algorythm.

i tried what devil slime had suggested and it worked untill the last part where i could not find the hex value 53 64 2c 00.........

Devil slime's tutorial, which is basicly the same as the one I linked, doesn't help at all, because the unlock code of the E160 is not contained in the dump file as clear text. To make it clear:
I've dumped my E160's ROM, extracted all 8-digit-numbers I could find in that file and I then tried to enter all numbers which could possibly (haven't tried those ending with two or more zeros) be the unlock code, but none of them worked. So again: the unlock code is not visible in the dump file - there's some more complex algorythm behind that unlock mechanism.

OK, then why do 3 network enter 10 or 12 digits to unlock the E160 from their network?
As said before the tutorial doesnt display the 8 digit code(because it's 10 or 12 digits)
I can upload a tutorial and say it works and you'd be a beleiver of the crap just cause I uploaded it. HUH

Why don't you just extract all 10 and 12 digit codes and try them? In my dump file there are only two 10-digit-numbers, that could be an unlock code. If you send me your dump file, I can extract all 10-digit numbers with PHP-script. Since I have only one attempt left, I don't dare trying it.

ah.. this took me some time to figure out,.. but if you have all the files shouldnt take more than 20 mins to crack wide open..
great tut, I have the latest firmware and the original huawei dashboard..tried different sims and all worked fine after inserting the unlock code.

There is the msn money app included which is quite nice. The problem with a stock plugin for titanium would be that you'd want it to be constantly upgrading, which is alot of data connection/battery drain time.

yeah for titanium. That's true but you could probably do manual update or update every hour or so.

I am not sure what other people need from this plugin, but what I need would be the latest updated figure of the currency pairs I am interested in.. and thats about it...
maybe latest figure and some sort of info on when the figure was last updated.. that would be sufficient for me... what about other people? I dont know

of course you can't. Htc flash files are .nbh but Samsung one is wp8 and csc files.
it's 100% impossible .
if you can flash it your phone drivers are different so it's impossible.

That's cool! They were already mounted as sub-folders of C:\, but they didn't have their own drive letters before. Not sure if that gives any more access than before, however...

We're able to do that on the HTC 8S and I guess on the 8X aswell, since the EFIESP is not encrypted. In fact, I already posted something similar in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2632814
So far, I wasn't able to do anything interesting with it. Only Stuff like enabling Kernel Debugger, Allow PreRelease Signatures, display and edit advanced boot options (not of any use since there's no physical keyboard on the phone) unfortunately, I bricked the Bootloader on my 8S when I tried something reeeealy dumb, so I can't continue experimenting until it is fixed

As I understand it, the protection system itself determines what file to load, depending on the status of the device. We need to create a file with the seven-boot, then you can experiment with the settings.

It's a long shot (on RT, SecureBoot blocks this), but... any chance you could enable TestSigning mode? That would make some of the hacks I'm attempting a *lot* easier.

Can You post URL for ITALIAN RM-1104 NO BRAND?
Has nobody reflashed his ITALIAN Lumia 950 RM-1104 NO BRAND that we can download it?
If somebody has do it, normally the Folder of the Rom is in C:\Program Data\Microsoft\Products.
Usually this folder is hidden, you must deflag options in Folder by Control Panel to see It.

Hello djtonka,
I have a RM-1104 (Lumia 950 single SIM) PC- 059X5H7 (Orange RO - Romania). I installed the version from the first post to debrand it, but I cannot see Microsoft app updates in the store. Probably related to the product code. Everything else works perfectly as far as I can tell.
Can you provide a generic, non-branded version for this product code?

It is your factory variant? If so please use WDRT to flash it back

This is the Orange branded version of ROM with that product code that the phone came with.
What I wanted was to flash a generic, non-branded ROM for this product code.
WDRT does not help me, it sees only the Orange initial ROM...

One PC = one variant, if you would like to flash it with CV Romania please provide me an PC number first.

I'm sorry, I'm a bit noob on Windows... Forgive me for so many questions....
So, do I need to give you a Romania CV product code, different than the one I have by default? Did I understood correctly?
