well i cant really tell but by the way its acting up it seems like it isnt a true d802. wait aand find out what they say you need to see the motherboard model/variant and thats your variant. if it says d800 then it isnt a d802. and you need to follow intruction on how to recover from from it..

before flashing this is the first thing that the user has to do. check their phone if you suspect its refurbished or bought it from like alien express ect. it should be there in big letters. ive seen this very often.

You really did not look very hard, it is the 4th sticky down in the Tmo rom thread ... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=668347
Sorry to be harsh, but if you could not find a thread, that is that obvious, then why did you even attempt to flash the phone??
It does take some technical knowledge of the phone before you start screwing with them ..
You flashed a Stock HTC EU rom to your TMO US phone ....
If you had done ANY reading about your phone you would have found that the two are different phones , they look alike but they ARE different ...
Now Yes I am trying to piss you off, if you get mad you will go find the stuff yourself and learn it ...
We are here to help , the info is all over the site, but we cannot do it for you ...
So don't cry when people laugh at you for pulling a bonehead move ....
EDIT:
Just want to say, just like in life you pull a bonehead move here, people might feel sorry for you , but they are still gonna laugh ...

Hey you need to look back over the message I never said I couldn't find it on this site..but think you for the info.
Well send the phone back to HTC after 1 1/2 week got it back today but the phone is lock now...call them to let them know and they will give me the code have to check back in two days...but I have it back work is the big thing...
If you're wanting to make it stock again I'd suggest you get the the rom from the link provided. The IMEI code can be found on the back of the box that HD2 came in.

The phone hasn't even been out for a year and manufacturs warranty is a year. For HTC this is a simple fix as hooking up a jtag programmer and just flashing a new bootloader. 1st step is to walk into your tmo store you bought it from *****ing up a storm your lawyer dad just bought you that phone and he's pissed and wants them to replace it. Since you said you bought it from some unlock online place?????, weird you would buy the phone previously unlocked then come here to play with roms when you could of skipped all those steps and bought one on CL for $250 and paid $4 on ebay for an unlock code. Ok that being said option 2 if you bought it from a fly by night online company is to directly contact HTC begging them to flash a new bootloader for you and restore the phone to factory condition. Tell them you bought it from a store and make your own bs receipt to send in. 3rd option is to break the phone up and sell it off. The LCD and Digi will bring in $130 easy, case and battery will bring in $40-$50, buttons, mic, and radio chip, $50, then go buy a new one on CL for $250. Hope this helps you more hten the previous posts. But essesially they are right, you flashed a rom for a different phone to yours and now you phone thinks its a Euro HD2 and when it tries to fire up nothing connected to the right pins and it failing. If we had a pin out for the chip or epprom we may be able to fix this but I would imagine its going to require resoldering on a new epprom.

I feel your frustration but in the same time, it's funny to see you put a blame on the G2 instead of the custom ROM or even yourself. Seriously.
You said it was NORMAL, didn't you. It only happens after you "play" around with it. Don't you have anything in your mind such reverse back to stock?

First off, sorry you're having problems with your phone, but it might not be going into deep sleep. You could try BetterBatteryStats or CPUSpy to see if you could alleviate the problem. Good luck.

Did you say this? "it`s normal but i installed new firmware ... "

You buy a Rolex, rip it apart, put something else in, then it doesn't function well. You say the Rolex is a piece of junk?
You buy a BMW, rip it apart, add some mod. and it looses power. You claim the BMW is a shyt?
You buy a MAC, put Windows OS in, ehhhhhhhhh. The MAC sucks????
Use some thinking before doing anything to your device.
As for your case, I advice you
1. Call your provider or LG, tell them that the G2 sucks 'cuz you flash new firmware and it wouldn't work the way you expect. Demand their apology. See what they tell you.
2. Throw away your LG, and buy the Nexus 5 and be happy with it.
Mike already gave you some suggestion, I hope others will too.

No one fights with you.
I just take a little time to educate you a bit so next time, instead of say "this one sucks and should have bought the others", just saying "i have done some stupid things and now it won't work, please help" or "what's wrong with my device since it drains so much, can someone please give me some advice".
That will make your life better, not only in this sub-forum of G2 but every other aspect in life. Nobody wants to hear you put a blame on something that wasn't there in the beginning.
Have you ever searched and see how many people get great battery life on stock ROM?
Have you ever wonder why only a few come to your thread and help?
Anyway, that was just my advice to you, take it or leave it.
Kids who blame the device because they can't use it.
Sent from my LG-D802 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
if you wanna keep everything the same as before, you shouldn't flash any customized roms, only the stock rom is the most stable one.

Can LG FLASH TOOLS brick my LG G2?

I just want to be safe cause i've already bricked one phone
I don't want to brick another one because I didn't ask....
guys it's pretty urgent :C
just do it and sit still, u should be about to reflash if it fails i have a cheap cable that wasnt up to it and i managed too on numerous occasions
Since you thought my last post was harshly done. And since you have bricked once...there is always a chance of bricking as you know. My suggestion is to read, read and understand before hand. And have a back up plan in place...use oem cables and the part of power issues in your area, that is on you to take the chance.
Judgment is near.....

That's exactly why I opened this thread im looking for answers, I searched XDA for this situation already.
now I checked my software and everything is a match
so the updating itself won't brick my phone
but my question is if the process fail or stop suddenly
will my LG G2 get messed up and won't be able to return to
download mode?
that's my question....
I honestly don't do it for me, its for my dad but he's too scared and he said if i get his LG G2 to 4.4.2 ill get his HTC one
but i told him it's the only way cause we bought the LG G2 from someone off ebay and we're over seas so we can't update
through ota since the phone itself isn't registered (it says the phone isn't registered yet) and we can't get our hands on an active att sim
so I'll be glad for any information about the LG FLASH TOOLS and I hope you can help me too.

Weird Problem on my LG G2

(Seriously man, I can't post a link!)
www[dot]youtube[dot]com/watch?v=ux-YzGq-vSA
(phew... that was a huge hassle)
That should give you an idea on my somewhat weird and strange problem on my LG G2.
So, I have had my G2 since 2014, has worked surprisingly very well with very very little problems. But just recently I upgraded to Lolipop, was fine for a day or so and this problem suddenly appears. Initially, I was checking my phone and browse the internet, as usual, then I was surprised that my screen moved and jumped like crazy (exactly shown in the video). I was first baffled with this and wondering "what the hell is wrong?". Alright, so I soft reset my phone straight away after that and... Still the same problem. From that time I had been thinking that this could be a serious problem.
The problem started yesterday and is still there even now (with smaller frequency), now I want this to be fixed and I don't know where should I begin. I don't think it's the update that caused this because it was fine for a day or so and no one else got this problem (after updating). I am seeking for your help, anyone?

Sorry, but I don't think so. I have never got this problem before, the phone's touchscreen isn't behaving erratically at all. It also have been updated to KitKat from Jelly bean before and there is no similar problem whatsoever. Works 100% fine. And I can tell you that my phone was new, not refurbished... Well, it may be but if I got the phone from a retailer as 'new' then the chances of my phone being refurbished is very very low. There is still a possibility though, how can I check this without doing difficult works? Thanks

Thanks

In case it is, only seeing model number on motherboard only, pay no attention to other parts...
i just watched video. it seems like your screen maybe damaged or if it has ribbon cable. maybe remove it and clean it or maybe loose.. just as suggestion.. not sure what could be.

Now it's the the third day and it's still there... I am actually thinking that it's to dangerous to open it myself... I think I'm going to bring it to LG service centre. Thanks for helping!

I had this problem since 1 year ago too. until now the screen is still jumping but at a low rate unless i watch video or play game than it will jump slightly more often. Any update after you bring it to the service centre?
Sorry for the stupidly long update, I have only just given the phone to LG on Wednesday. I'll update this thread when I get the phone back.
Got it fixed early last month. Sorry for the late update.
