Basically I want the 3G video calling option on 3G networks. And I assume that EU version has this option?
Is it possible to flash Style firmware to Pure?
if yes How.
And It would be great if someone could tell me the 3g caling is enabled in Style...
Thanks

Rogers 3G has been very unreliable for the last couple of weeks, and it appears that Bell has disabled EDGE/GSM fallback for this phone because they're based on CDMA network.
To enable the 2G, I gather that I just need to create a goldcard and then flash an HTC WWE stock rom? Am I missing anything?
I don't need root. Just want 2G.
Is there a way to back up my settings, etc without root?
Bell's network does not support 2g for my phone even with a stock HTC rom, unbranded. I guess they don't have 2g implemented yet, and if they ever will is a question I want answered.
My Aria doesn' t pickup 3G connection i am using at&t rom until I can root it does anyone know if the problem is because os AT&T software I am connected to Portuguese carrier TMN.
The AT&T version of the Aria does not support the 3G frequencies that TMN uses. This basically means there is no way to get 3G data speeds with this phone on that carrier. However you should be able to get 2G data and voice calls without a problem.
Unfortunately installing a new ROM will not fix this issue. There's nothing you can do about it.
And is there any chance of changing the radio firmware so it would support it?

Nope, sorry. It's a difference in the hardware, not the software.
There are two "versions" of the HTC Aria/Liberty/Gratia. The A6366 which is the AT&T Aria and supports 850/1900MHz 3G bands, and the A6380 which is called Aria or Gratia depending on the region and supports 900/2100MHz 3G bands. It should say underneath the battery which version you have if you want to be certain. You would need the A6380 to get 3G to work in your area.
Does anyone know how to solve the problem with the LTE option in Celluar Data, because I cant't choose LTE just 2G, 3G and 3G/2G? No LTE/3G/2G option.
It's a model Blackberry Keyone BB100-2, Android version 7.1.1, Build Number is AAN358.
If anyone has an official software please send it to me or post a link.
Try dialing *#*#46368676#*#*
Not sure what network you're on, but this thread on Crackberry talks about a way to activate LTE and advanced calling on Verizon. The solution is to have the SIM card activated in a Verizon (not just "Verizon-compatible") phone, then transfer it to the Blackberry. I'm not sure if the same process works for other networks.
Download "4G Switcher" in PlayStore.
It's a saviour.

I don't know where you live, but BB100-2 is not a US variant, so LTE bands might not be available to you.
Now is OK. Problem was with firmware on BB. After update from BB service, LTE working fine and you can choose Mobile Data (LTE, 3G, 2G).
Firmware
Where or how did you get that firmware update, please?
Just wondering whether anyone has managed to get VoLTE working with the Axon 7 on Telstra in Australia. Stock or LOS Rom? Cheers
SD820 SoC supports it but seeing that Australia is still so minutes and data sepparated with calls, maybe not really wise to use it here yet. There's no selections to enable/disable VoLTE in settings in stock ROM. Might be able to access hidden system settings in an engineering mode through the dialler though.
I have my personal Aldi SIM (runs off Telstra network) and work Telstra SIM in my Axon 7 but decided to leave VoLTE as a curiosity for now. Both SIMs show as 4G+ in statusbar. I suspect that means carrier aggregation.

4G+ is just faster than 4G, but many people report that they need to be very close to a cell tower to receive it.
That's literally everything I know lol

There is an option in settings to enable or disable it on stock ROM ,or is this different?
And Axon7 doesn't have 2CA or more so it can't aggregate 2 bands together, although it shows 4g+.

Yea I really want the VoWifi feature, due to being in a bit of a blackspot for reception, which can't happen until VoLTE is working. I don't have the option in settings, and I've tried enabling it through the engineering menu but it doesn't stick. I believe they (Telstra) may have it limited to certain devices with specific compatible firmware at this stage.

Thats exactly the menu option I don't have. Are you using A2017G on Telstra?

No I'm using a different carrier and that option is in the settings and I've got A2017.
Also I could never use VoLTE , because my provider has enabled for certain devices.
But I see in Network Cell Info app that it says this device doesn't have VoLTE capability.
The option doesn't exist in my ROM. Australian ROM and assuming the option is missing for good reason.

Is that the Nougat B04 firmware? I think the first version for A2017G to have VoLTE at all is the new German B08 firmware.
Yes, B04, waiting to see if ZTE give us Oreo but not expecting it now. Looks like they may not do an Axon 8, releasing fads like the foldable phone instead. This may be the first and only ZTE I ever own.

I'm at Jenolan Caves right now for my wedding anniversary. All we get is 3G here so VoLTE would be useless. I'm not modding anything to enable it as I think it would actually compromise my phone's performance in Australia because I do turn off cellular data and rely on wifi frequently, like at work or home.
I'm not convinced the Axon 7 doesn't have VoLTE, I think it's just not enabled by the software.
I was sure I had seen something about 4G+ and here is copy paste from it.
"LTE-A/4G+ is actually an amalgamation of several different technologies. The biggest of these is called “carrier aggregation.” It’s kind of a misnomer, as it has nothing to do with aggregating wireless carriers. What it does, in a very simplified form, is allow your device to send and receive data from two different frequencies (known as bands) at the same time, which translates to faster speeds."
I also entered a sort of engineer mode through the dialler and screenshot it with it scrolled a bit to hide my IMEI. The phone shows VoLTE amongst other things and mentions not provisioned so seems to me software switch and carrier support but the phone would do it if the carrier allowed.
@ sirizak, I am sorry that there is no FM for A2017G in your country.
Even though the Moto G6 Plus has hardware support for VoLTE, Lenovo scumbags removed the feature from the stock firmware of my country (Brazilian retail), which is updated to Android 9.0. The stock ROM does have a toggle for turning VoLTE on/off, but it's broken, because when I make a call with 4G on, the "4G" icon turns into an "H+", aka 3G. My carrier where I live supports VoLTE, and it works just fine on my mom's Moto G5 Plus on Android 8.0. Is it possible to re-enable VoLTE on stock ROM with root access, or the only way to get VoLTE support back is flashing a custom ROM that has this feature implemented?
I am from the Netherlands, and I have the same issue... Does anyone have a fix. My moto has bootloader unlocked...
I was mistaken, the G6 Plus does have VoLTE support, what it doesn't is 4.5G/4G+. Go to Phone info menu by typing *#*#4636#*#* , and see if "VoLTE provisioned" toggle is on. Toggle it off and on in case it's already on but you still don't see the 4G icon, which tells that VoLTE is enabled.
