Hi,
After bricking my unit with bad firmware supplied by Xtrons to solve an audio issue, I was able to identify the manufacturer and was fortunately successful in obtaining the correct firmware for my unit.
I must say that both Xtrons and the manufacturer were extremely helpful, with HanSong delivering the result following supplying 3 iterations of firmware.
The TD699G was purchased in Dec 2015:

Notes from my experience:
1. Use the 4GB SDCard supplied with the unit, [FAT] formatted and named [SDCARD]
2. Copy the file [UPD] to the SDCARD first, then the remaining files
3. Insert the SDCARD into the [MAPS] slot and power on. Wait for the flash/app upgrade to complete, approx 3 minutes.
4. If the update completed successfully, you will be presented with the display calibration screen. Calibrate the display
5. Factory settings - configure your unit appropriately in the hidden menu [when in main menu, long press the TIME on left. TD699G then will enter the factory setting interface, click next page, close the selectGPS option, then press the power button to shut down the unit - do not remove power. This last step applies factory settings and configures the unit for GPS. Review other settings.
While I have included all firmware supplied, the firmware that restored my unit is [升级APP-2015.12.12-works.RAR]

Hi I don't know if it will help you, but maybe someone else will face the same Problem as we did. I solved the ugly orange color wheel and the inverted colors with these steps:
1. Go to the Menu, press and hold the time for more than 5 seconds.
2. Press the "Next Page" button.
3. Press "ScreenSelect" button.
4. Select "SCREEN_7_INCH".
5. Go back and hold the Power button 3 seconds, the device will turn off, wait a moment and Turn it back on.
After these steps your Device should start with normal colors and the Blue wheel!

Need Help with my TD619G
Hi, That's really help full and I'm gonna try it on my unit.
Problem is my unit is a TD619G not a 699... mine is touch screen but with buttons on the side as well.
I can't find anywhere the firmware for a TD619G...
History... i updated the "iGO Primo" GPS maps via the SD card and after cycling the power, was left with a blue screen requesting a FytAppUpdate.bin flie... this file was not in the update.
I can access the winCE6.0 screen on the unit using the touch screen but it times out before i can get to far.
If anyone can help in anyway... please do

I purchased the head unit a few days ago and it was working fine. I attempted to root it after having trouble getting media players to detect the external SD card. The root process failed with a parsing error. Ever since then my bluetooth and WiFi will not work. Bluetooth never connects although my phone sees the device. WiFi sits at "Obtaining IP address" indefinitely. I have tried using the physical reset button on the unit, which reset some settings but did not fix the issue. At this point I think my only option is to factory reset with fresh firmware.
The factory reset under "Extra Settings" doesn't work and just stays at a screen with spinning circle saying its performing the reset and to not turn off the device.
Any help appreciated. I cannot find this firmware version anywhere.

I was able to get this working. I downloaded the firmware here:
PHP:
https://yadi.sk/d/5vWew_Z_fWotd
Extracted 2 files to root of SD card, went to settings and ran system update. The unit rebooted and ran the update and rebooted again. I then was able to run the factory reset with the password 7890.
I now have a message across the screen "UI unauthorized please contact supplier".
Does anyone know how to remove the message? The unit is working fine regardless.
Looks like I have to root it to remove the message according to the wiki.
I installed Baiduroot and then SuperSU, but SuperSU installation fails.
I don't know how to boot the device into recovery mode. I've tried holding the home and volume buttons together on startup but nothing happens.
Any advice?

Maybe it's the manufacturer's website, try to contact them:

You are probably better off flashing it to a new rom.
I tried copying them to the sd card but the unit is not updating.. Did you rename the files or what exactly did u do

Hi, I have a KKMoon FY6303 Android 6 head unit. The unit worked for a week and now boots to startup screen and I get a red message saying the unit has not started for 3 times and it is going thru internal test for startup. Then screen goes blank, I hear the DVD drive start for a second, then a pattern of nothing followed by the DVD drive start every 15 seconds or so. I have pushed the reset button at various times and no change. There are no more buttons to get into recovery mode just the small remote. Is there a way to reload Android 6 from somewhere and try a new install from USB drive or sd card? My friend has the same unit. Is there anyway to make an Android 6 install USB drive or sd card from his working unit? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Had the same issue. The HU (with 2 USB ports) was some unknown brand called Funrover loosely based on Joying firmware. What worked for me was
- Download the suitable Joying firmware : joyingauto.com/blog/post/joying-intel-sofia-android-car-stereo-software-update
- Extract it on the PC and then copy the firmware files on to a freshly (FAT32) formatted USB drive (or SD card if you don't have a secondary USB port)
- Plug in the USB drive to your HU USB port (1?) or SD Card to the SD Card slot (or Map slot?)
- Since your HU is already bootlooping, plug in a keyboard and use the following key combination> Alt + Print Scr + tapping i (or e, both worked for me) to get in to recover
- Ideally the recovery option will detect the plugged in USB and start reflashing the firmware so that you will be able to use the HU again.
Did u found a firmware for this unit?

No you can't. All units look similar but look closely and you'll see major differences. Your friend's unit has buttons at the bottom of the screen yours doesn't.
I tried to install ownice c600’sformware ob my screen but I could not because the installation failed.
What I need is to access to car’s setup. snd I need help to do it.
Thanks.
I have the same screen model CLHD-991 for ford focus, but after using for 1 day; I tried to upload logo file update but I think I failed as the car power went off
and not it's not booting anymore and giving me black screen
I think I need to try to upload the firmware again.
where can I get the firmware and which software should I use to upload it to the device?

Hi,
Have you managed to resolve this?
Hi all
I have one of these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/384770479698 in my 2006 Merc. its a MTK8667 Android 11 based unit. FF_866X is the device name, i'm sorry I do not know the MCU
I was sent some update files from the seller https://we.tl/t-UeDC40i6Ul XRC-8667 升级软件 Q腾实UI多合一-国外-1280x720_v32_20220223
Upgrade steps
1) Unzip after downloading (only unzip once)
2) Copy the file to the U disk
3) Connect the U disk while the power is on
4) The machine will automatically upgrade
5) If the machine cannot be upgraded, you need to press RES and keep touching the display with two fingers
during the update process it copied the superimage ok but then something came up in red but it came up to a kind of recovery and said erasing... it then rebooted it gets to the car logo screen, before android screen then goes to a blank screen with the following in bottom left corner...FASTBOOT MODE and wont go any further
I have pressed RST then two fingers on screen until i get "detected" but all i get is the same fastboot mode again,
I have redownloaded and extracted the firmware and reformatted my usb drive to fat32 and tried the whole process again and tried in both usb slots but no sucess...what can I do?? is it broken??
I have obtained other mtk8667 firmware files 8667.bin and 8667.upd from this topic https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/firmware-junsun-v1-8667q-8g-128g-vhd-qled.4405475/ on this forum but I have tried many different ones and it just wont read the usb, still just goes straight to fastboot mode....is anyone able to help me I have messaged the seller but no reply
So far I have tried about 7 or 8 different firmware versions, the sellers own, some junsun versions, ossuret versions even xtrons versions(all in correct format of 8667.bin and 8667.upd on root of usb formatted to fat32 but it does not read the usb.
The usb slots are still working as I can plug my phone in and it charges but the unit does not seem to have a full recovery mode

I have messaged the seller (brogotek) on ebay but no reply as yet which is strange as they have always replied very quickly.
Do you think it is fixable? it was bought in April and ebay advert states it comes with 12 months repair or replace warranty
There just seems no way to get into any kind of recovery mode
I have cheap radio in my car, see picture.
I had small issues and I decided to upload new firmware to it.
I tried to do it from USB, but after that radio starts, android logo appears, then status bar for 1-2 seconds and restart. And over and over...
Then I tried to upload firmware via SP Flash Tool.
Laptop was connected to radio, scatter file choosen, Download mode. Progress bar went to the end, OK mark was shown but... radio doesn't work at all, screen is black, no response.
Now radio is not visible by SP Flash Tool.
Is any chance to bring radio to life?

Perhaps someone could help if you provided the exact name of the device model and a link to the file you downloaded for flashing.

I assume that the photo on the left is correct, because CPU-Z misidentifies the model of the model YT9216B_00002_V004.
There are a huge number of directories with device variants on the download page, so it is impossible to choose the right file without knowing exactly what it is for a particular device.
Has anyone advised you exactly this file?
Did you contact [email protected] ?
This file worked some time ago (uploaded through actualisationbutton in settings menu).
But I tried to flash radio with SPFlashTool, and now unit is bricked. Thanks a lot for e-mail address, I will write to them.
