Just to let you know...
Low microphone volume during calls is a problem on this phone with stock rom. People cannot hear what you are saying in most cases. The easiest solution for this is to disable "Dual Microphone" in the call app settings. It solves the problem.
Regards,
IozzoI
Can u please give me the steps to do this please.
Thanks

What is your firmware?
This method is actual for the original firmware.
If you have unofficial firmware, then mute the microphone through editing the file build.prop
persist.audio.fluence.voicecall=true -> persist.audio.fluence.voicecall=false

I've already see this but this is not im looking for. Invidual ringtone for each contact in phonebook. Sorry for not giving the exact info. I forgot to mention it
I don't have FroyoBread installed but it should work same way. You must have ringtone in /sdcard/media/audio/ringtones. Open contact, press left button, select options and there you can set ringtone

Is it possible to personalize the drag up bar feature? e.g. with apps, functions and so on?
If you don't know what I'm talking about go to
Settings-->Homescreen-->Help-->Page 2 (on Vodafone Germany)
Thank you.
good question, BUMP
For me (Verizon) it's on page 5 of that help menu. I've seen it called "Drag Up", "Quick Access", and "Global Access". I really want to replace the S Voice with a flashlight toggle!

You can put a flashlight Widget on your Homescreen.

I'm frustrated!
I want to edit the order of my "Quick Settings" in the Notification bar, but there is no icon (the pencil icon on the right side up) where it should be!
Also, when I press the "Options" button (the three squares) in the Settings page, most option are missing!
The only one that appears is 'List view' (to a total of 2 views - 'Grid view' and 'List view'), whereas the third view, the 'Edit quick settings' and the 'Help' options are missing!
I've got pictures to prove my point and help you see my problem but, unfortuately I can't post them here.
What is wrong? Is it because of the edition of the phone?

Depending on the device model and also the firmware version, there are some variation of the Settings menu. So I cannot realize what is your Settings menu structure.
You can open the S Finder and enter 'notification panel' to search.

Same thing happens. I sadly think it is because of the firmware, as you say, and there is nothing I can do about it.
Thanks for your reply, though!

What does that mean? Did you find this menu using S Finder?
If you cannot find this settings, here is another way:
Install Shortcut Master app, open Menu > Search > enter 'notificationpanelsetting' to search. Finally tap on the search result to open this settings.

Yes and, again, the notification panel had no pencil on the uppermost right corner. :/

I had high hopes for this (on my search on the Net, I found no solution like this) but, alas, the search came back with 0 results. Searched both 'notificationpanelsetting' and 'notificationpanelsettings', and 0 results for 'notificationpanel' as well!
edit:
Oooh! That's why I thought I recognised the name of the app creator - it was you! Nice job, btw!
Sorry, I have searched on my Note 3, not S5.
However the function may be missing because of different firmwares.
You can bypass this problem by flashing another firmware.

I am wanted to rid of the small square "Call in progress shortcut" permanently. During a call, I know you can long press the square and it will give you the message "Hide the call in progress shortcut from your screen?" and it will remove it for that call. Is there not a way to make that never pop up again? It seems redundant to have that square at the top left corner of the screen, when all I have to do is swipe down to get to shortcuts to mute or end the call. I have searched the googles and found nothing. Any help would be appreciated. I'm sure it's a simple setting that I'm missing. Thanks!
Sorry, I found it. I thought I had looked everywhere, but it's in the call settings.
where?!
I can't find how to hide it in the call settings, can you help? It's driving me nuts

Click the 3 dots on the top right.
Click Settings followed by Call
Click "Call-related Pop-ups"
And there are your settings.

Hi, How do I disable this "use touch tone keypad" "return to call in progress" on my Mobicell Android, when I get incoming calls I cant pick them up., unless I click on either of these two when a pop up appears.
Hello. I am running a rooted debloated Verizon Galaxy S5 on ODN. I debloated may apps, including S-Voice. Unfortunately it appears that S-Voice was assigned to the microphone button on the phone app dialer keypad, and that was one of the apps I debloated. I've attached a screenshot, but the message I get when tapping the Microphone icon on the bottom left of the screen is as follows: "Unable to Open app - com.vlingo.midas is off. To turn this application on, tap App info, then tap Turn on." Tapping App info doesn't go anywhere because com.vlingo.midas was debloated.
Any suggestions on how to reassign this microphone button to Google Voice Search would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Ed Janx

Tulsadiver, thank you for your advice and the apk. I did consider that as a path, and I may still try it, but I'm wondering how I may be able to change the button's behavior to open Google Voice Search instead as a primary solution.

Hello again Tulsadiver.
I includeded a screen shot in my original post, but this is the message:
"Unable to Open app - com.vlingo.midas is off. To turn this application on, tap App info, then tap Turn on."
If I click App Info, nothing happens since it is not installed..
