I've already see this but this is not im looking for. Invidual ringtone for each contact in phonebook. Sorry for not giving the exact info. I forgot to mention it

I don't have FroyoBread installed but it should work same way. You must have ringtone in /sdcard/media/audio/ringtones. Open contact, press left button, select options and there you can set ringtone

How to get rid of menu clicks?

Whenever I press the start button, and work with pulldown menus, there is loud annoying click which I am unable to switch off or lower its volume, because if I lower the volume, I will also lower the volume for the ringtone. I found the file which does the "click" but am unable to delete it. Any suggestions?
Goto Settings -> Sounds and Notifications -> Disable sounds for Events

This is obvious but not good. If I do this, there won't be any notifications for all of the events, like missed phone call, new text message etc.

I think there should be a way to change the vibrate type...
Anyone has an idea??
umm not that difficult ...
from the home screen slide all the way over to settings,
Sound and Display and scroll down and tap Ring type
settings > Sound & Display >Ring type

[TIP] Hidden call settings on Epic

I haven't seen a thread for this yet, so I thought I would share. After installing Launcher Pro, I was playing around with the shortcuts and Activities. Under Call settings there is a hidden menu named "All Calls". If you create a shortcut you will have access to the auto reject call menu and will have the ability to enter phone numbers, or select numbers from the call history, that should be automatically rejected. The nice thing about it is the phone doesn't ring or vibrate. Since I forward my office line to my cell, I get a lot of solicitors and its great to be able to dump them automatically.

Nice find. I wish I would have discovered this sooner. I actually bought "Group to Voicemail" on the Market a few weeks ago because I needed this functionality. Oh well. It's a nice app and the dev seems cool.
LOL...
i just noticed this menu is NOT in the epic..lol
this is a regular menu in all other android phones i had use, such as the moto droid and the nexus one
Define how I am supposed to find something "hidden". Kinda confusing. I have Launcher Pro isntalled and see nothing about this under settings/call settings. Wanna elaborate?
Go to a blank spot onto your phone. Tap as if you were going to add a widget or shortcut. Go into shortcuts, activies, call settings, and tap all calls. It will create a shortcut which u go into and will see the auto reject feature.
I believe you must have LauncherPro. This is not in the settings menu.

You have to enter the number without any dashes or spaces.
"Cell Broadcast SMS" looks interesting.

Awesome thanks, do I have to leave the widget on the home screen for it to keep working?

No you don't have to leave it on the home screen, but it makes it easier to add more numbers later if you do. Personally, I have a folder on my home screen that contains that shortcut and shortcuts to other apps and settings I frequently use.
Metallica76 - thanks for clarifying those additional steps. My apologies everyone for not being more specific on the actual steps for creating the shortcut.
Now if I can just find the "send to voicemail" option everyone says is in the contacts settings, which clearly is not there.

As far as I can tell, this can be done through any launcher, even the TouchWiz launcher.

You can also press the icon next to the entry field to add a number from your contact list or from your call log (although you will have to remove any dashes included).

Well..tried that, I only have Share, Delete, Move, Copy, Rename and Info.
Put the ringtones in /sdcard/media/audio/ringtones and reboot
Similarly for /sdcard/media/audio/alarms and /sdcard/media/audio/notifications.
You can then choose it normally from the list of tones.

Ok, got it that works, thanks. Is there any other way without having to have the file in ringtones folder?

Ok here that another way you are asking--->
Let you music file be any where on your device or the external SD card, it doesn't matter. Simply locate your file and touch to PLAY it (using the defalut sound player). Now press teh MENUE button and it will ask you to SET AS. Now select PHONE RINGTONE and you get this music file as your ringtone.
Of course alternatively, you can straightway start the desired music file in your default music player and press menu button and select SET AS and follow next step as mentoined above.
I hope this helps you... and if yes.. pls. click the THANKS BUTTON

Yep, got it Thanks.
Or download Rings Extended https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.angryredplanet.android.rings_extended this is not an app but allows you to choose music directly from your sound settings.
