Automatic reboot - YU Yureka Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am facing a problem with my device ... it starts rebooting automatically several times a day...plzz tell me how to solve this issue ..

I faced the similar solution. A temporary solution is to clear cache in recovery mode.

You should wait for their next update . It is a software problem I think. They will send a update to cure this problem.

Hey I have got a solution for this . Go to your device settings and then Privacy. Then go to privacy guard. There are three dots on upper right corner. CLICK ON THAT AND SELECT SHOW BUILT IN APPS. Now search for Google play services and hold on Google play services. Scroll downside and search for auto start and keep awake. Turn them off. But keep sure that (keep awake ) is enabled.
If it help you please thanks me.

Wi-Fi keeps turning itself on and scanning!

I don't know why but my wi-fi keeps turning itself on.. I keep it turning it off and it keeps turning it on! It's annoying and drains the battery. Any suggestions?
The phone is rooted and has JF1.42. I am not using any third party apps to control the wi-fi.
anyone else have this issue?
I'm having the same issue.. but I use WifiLock for my WiFi, and the deluxe Power Mgr in general (no settings for Wifi though).... Haven't had time to troubleshoot yet.
I don't use any programs to control my wi-fi... Everytime there is a wi-fi available, the phone turns on wifi and starts connecting...
it's annoying because it keeps loging me in and out of Gtalk!....
Same here... I bet this part of the battery drain issue
I've read on the market (and confirmed) that ShopSavvy is turning peoples WIFI on when it shouldn't be. Check the comments section for the application called ToggleWIFI and WiFiStatus, both by Andrew Schimmer. Could be another rogue app if you don't have this one installed.
I also had that issue and posted about it, someone also mentioned the problem being shopsavvy, I uninstalled it for a day and noticed the problem went away. so now I use Compare anywhere

2. once Shop savvy's screen shows up, SELECT settings
3. select PRIVACY

Problem with WiFi after latest Note 4 update

Hello All,
So a few days ago I received an update with Baseband Version N910CXXU1DPI1
After the update completed and the device restarted, I noticed the wifi keeps going on and off on and off if it's not connected to a wifi network. I went to the wifi settings to make sure if any other wifi settings in the advanced menu are ticked and found that nothing is ticked which is good.
The problem disappears only if I restart the phone. Is this a common problem with this update or is it just me?
Thanks
Hi me too, I have similar problem after update to N910UZZH2DPJ2.
When I turn off wifi, the wifi icon in the notification toggle switch on and off automatically, i.e. turn green and grey automatically.
When I go into wifi settings, the switch also turn on and off automatcally non-stop.
They will stop when I connected to wifi.
I have already do a factory reset, it doesn't fix the problem. Any idea how to solve it? Thanks!

I think someone needs to report this to Samsung....I would do so but I'm not sure how. Let's just hope for a small patch that will fix this issue..it's very annoying
Yeah me too, Wiped the cache and still nothing. Wifi keeps randomly restarting off and on until i restart. But the problem comes back after restart................... Can someone Please help us all....
Thanks for the feedback guys. Glad I'm not the only one with this problem. I think I might just flash with Odin to the previous version, or if someone can help us that would be greatly appreciated.
Is there a way we can report this bug to Samsung?
I'm having this issue also. Is this why I'm seeing lots of posts about folk downgrading to 5.1.1; issues with the 6.0.1 roms/basebands? Before I updated my firmware I had the issue reported by another user on here where my WiFi kept turning off immediately after I tried turning it on.

I never had an issue with Marshmallow except for this random wifi on off issue in the latest update. Been on stock rom since I got my phone back in December 2014 !!!
Hey everyone I was able to temporarily fix this issue by turning off wifi scanning in (Settings > Location > Improve Accuracy). I heard somewhere on here it might have been a recent app update that is causing the issue.

Thanks for the tip 93_teg. Going to give this a try and report back.
@93_teg I did your solution and so far it seems to be working. No more Random wifi on off issue, let's hope.
Thanks for the help
@93_teg thank you so much for sorting this out it switches off now without restarting :good::good:
Thank you for the fix, I spent waaaaay too long troubleshooting this issue. I think the next step on my list was sacrificing a lamb but this works too
today's update(N910F PHN) didn't fix it.
it's probably the latest Google play services update that caused it, it received an update shortly after the October security update.

Probably, I seem to have had the issue start same time as everyone else here, and I'm on the t mobile version N910-T, and my last OS update was October 1st
I appreciate your solution, I'd working for me, i start to feel crazy, and I want to sell the phone, but I don't, thanks, sorry by my english

I received an update on my phone yesterday but have Postponed it...going to see whether it fixes the issue or not.
Thanks to all who participated in the thread...greatly appreciated
Workaround
Hello,
I confirm that the issue is due by the Service Google play. The workaround, to stop the Wifi is blinking, is :
Parameters > Applications Manager > choose system applications (Three dots) > select Service Google Play > Stop forced (and possible Stockage and clear cache).
This workaround works after each use of the WiFi.
And now wait a solution from Google (and Samsung may be).
Thanks

BT keeps turning off

For the past few days, my BT setting keeps turning itself off every few hours. Once it happens, it then continues to turn itself off immediately each time I re-enable it. After an hour or so, it recovers and lets me turn it back on (until the next time a few hours later).
The phone is completely stock (APK1), never rooted, no 3rd-party power-saving, task-managing, or security apps ever installed, no power-saving modes turned on. It does not help to clear the system cache or the Bluetooth Share cache. Closing all open apps does not help. Rebooting sometimes helps temporarily, sometimes not even temporarily. I haven't seen the problem when I reboot in Safe Mode, so either it's caused by an app (I have hundreds), or else I just didn't leave it in Safe Mode for long enough for the problem to reappear. I have not recently installed any apps or made any settings changes. I've searched online and come across many suggestions but none are applicable and successful here.
Is there a system log somewhere that would tell me what is turning off the BT setting?

Wouldn't that delete all my WiFi passwords? I find several online mentions of people who unsuccessfully tried Reset Networks to solve BT problems, and no mentions of it being successful.

Try one more thing : Settings-> Applications-> in right top corner you have 3 dots, press and choose Show System Apps
scroll to Bluetooth share , click on it then click on Storage and Clear Data. go back and do same with Bluetooth Test.
Thanks, but that didn't help either. I found the culprit, though: the Walgreens app. When I force-stop it and then turn on BT, BT stays on. As soon as I start the app again, BT turns off. And I now see many other user reports of this problem, going back a couple of months.
It's annoying that without the user's knowledge or consent, Android gives an app unnecessary permission to turn BT off. What's worse is that there's no easy way to identify who turned it off.

There is an app in the store called App Brain Ad Detector.
After you install it you can scan all your installed apps and it will break down all permissions given to each app, show which ad network, etc. It is very useful!
Also after it is installed when you install a new app it will report if it does things not normal.. IE it would probably have caught that BT permission!

"Settings has stopped" and "Settings keeps stopping"

Hi, its my first time writing here, but not using this forum.
First of all, sorry if my english is not good enough.
I have a Nexus 6P stock, without root or anything. This week I installed Android 7.1.2 from google beta program, after that, I was having draining battery issue, so, I checked the battery usage and discover that the Wi-Fi never stop, then, after reading on some blogs about this problem and found that I should go to WiFi setting and disable some option in "keep wifi on sleep", however, when i click on setting key, always appear this messages "Settings has stopped" and "Settings keeps stopping". Things I did:
1) Disable Wi-Fi, try clicking on setting key - still the problem
2) Restart on safe mode - still the problem
3) clean the cache from recovery mode - still the problem
Any other suggestions without restoring the cell phone?
Thanks in advance

Hi... The gear icon force close... It's a bug in this beta version, nothing you should worry about.
However, I have no idea for your battery drain...

Have You tried with - Settings - Location - press the 3 dots - Scanning - And disableing everything there ?
So...if I can't access the wifi settings is there any way to disable the wifi optimization or otherwise prevent it from dropping a wifi connection that it detects has no internet?

Unfortunately the only thing that usually fixes that is a factory reset. And if that doesn't work it's a ROM issue. Even though it's a stock ROM it happens.
Your best bet is probably a factory reset at this point. Usually if Settings or another system app is crashing on Stock, something is pretty messed up. You could either opt out of the beta and it will wipe/downgrade for you, or you can download a factory image from Google and install it manually if you're so inclined.
I have the same issue on my s6 after it updated to Nougat. Settings crashes every time if I try to open wifi, no matter what. Already wiped system cache and started in safe mode, but the problem is still there. Has anybody figured out a solution to this?
Did you try what was suggested..... ?

I tried everything except factory reset, which I don't want to do yet.
I have this problem but I'm running Nougat on a stock "International" Samsung Galaxy S7.
I've tried factory resetting which fixed the issue for a while, but now it's come back.

I may have found a possible fix for this issue. Head over to this Android Central Thread where I've been discussing the issue with some other people.
Good luck!

Smart Location Trusted Places not working anymore

This worked perfectly out of the box but recently has stopped working. Not sure if it has to do with the QD9 update or maybe some other crap that installed. I can set the location fine and it clearly shows me inside the boundary but every time I get to the locks screen it still doesn't unlock automatically.
Anyone else have the same issue?

I've had the same issue on my last phone and now the S8 as well. From what I've heard it's a Google issue and they are supposedly working on a fix.

The problem with Trusted Place is that it’s very spotty! It only works for a day or two then fails to unlock the device. I’ve set two different locations, one for home and another using the latitude and longitude location. Only way to get it working is to reboot the device. Regrettably, it only works for a day before reverting back to my lock screen method again.
this not related to the galaxy s8. even my nexuw 6p and pixel. had this problem. it works when u set it up the. it jist stoppwd working after a few days. a restart or setting it uo again does work but same issue will happen next oe a few days after. bluetooth trusted device works but location is a problem. related to nougat.
Yep can agree with everything said here seems to work sometimes then other times not...Also I can't believe that google won't allow your home wifi network to be used as a trusted device.
I t seems like a obvious choice to me to use your home wifi as a trusted device but hey what do I know.
Let's wait for an update
Same issues here in India also.
Google Play Services 11 fixes this issue. I'm on 11.0.55 and it works consistently every time.

I have 11.0.55 on my new S8+ and it doesn't work for me.
Mine suddenly started working today for no particular reason.
I hadn't changed any settings but when I came home it just unlocked.
Strange or what!
mine still isnt working, its infuriating as I wear glasses at work do I have to take my glasses to unlock.
Anyone else got location unlock working properly?
Note to future self
Note to future self :
found the solution on the Samsung community web site (cannot post links...).
us[dot]community[dot]samsung[dot]com/t5/Galaxy-S8-Questions-and-Answers/Smart-Lock-Not-Working-Reliably/td-p/103398
need to do a "Wipe Cache":
* Turn off phone
* Press Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press the Power key
* When the logo appears, release all keys
* Press the Volume down key several time to highlight "wipe cache partition"
* Press the Power key to restart phone
Another way that does not require to go into recovery mode but seems to fix the problem for shorter time :
* Settings -> Apps -> Google Play Services -> Delete cache
* Reboot
I've also added bunch of points in all corners around my house in the Trusted Places settings
