Installation:
If you have already installed installed a previous verion of MIUI just download the rom, go to system update and choose update pack.
Do not check for new version and then update!!
If not;
- Reboot to TWRP/CWM/PHILZ
-Make backup of current rom
- Wipe data, cache, dalvik cache, system
- Install MIUI v7
- Enjoy
Some known bugs...
- miui camera, mic and speaker don't produce good results.
- prevent pocket dial feature sometimes activates when unlocking phone.
- face unlock doesn't work in 5.11.21 but works in some previous versions. Confirmed working on 5.8.28

Installation:

Yh I have tried it. Works great. Some camera and sound issues. This thread will help for the sound issue http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/mod-beatsaudio-e-xloud-installer-t3029951. As for camera, Google camera works great. IUNI u2 doesn't have nfc so it won't be enabled in the ROM, even though our device has it.

IUNI U2 is another device made by gionee (not another name of elife e7) with similar specifications as the elife e7. E7 has nfc but that device (IUNI U2) doesn't have . Since the ROM was ported from the IUNI U2, NFC is disabled because it is not present on the IUNI U2.

Can't we just just load the NFC controllers and use it with a 3rd party app?

BTW. Brand IUNI belongs to Gionee, that's probably the reason why the devices are so similar. Lack of NFC in IUNI is hard to explain, therefore.

As for bugs, you will get some random force closes if you don't wipe data before installing. The pocket dial feature is very buggy. There are no audio effects in the ROM, so you have to install manually.

i do wipe date clean installation but still for me random force closes that need a restart some time ..
for me the problem is phone idle taking so much bettrt about 10 % in night can u please share urs with me ???

after installing update something happens to the color settings. Unable to view anything properly. Reverted back to original ROM.

What we need:
- Root
- Root Explorer

- Backup orginal file manual all or do it backup your firmware using twrp
How Change file to record on Huawei Ascend Mate 7 Lollipop Emui 3.1
1. Download Zip Pack and extract
2. Copy to sdcard 4 folders with apk file in side
3. Open Root Explorer and go to sdcard and select 4 folder and copy to system/priv-app
4. Now select this 4 folders and set permission to rwxr-xr-x
5. Open HwCallRecorder and set permission apk file to rwx-r--r--
6. Do it that same to this 3 file Telecom.apk , TelefonyProvider.apk and TeleService.apk
7. Now exit from Root Explorer and reboot device
I take this file from Huawei Honor 6 H60-L02 EMUI3.1 5.9.1
What work on this modification?
- Manual record work good but we here sygnal when we start record
What don't work
-Auto call recorder or i don't no how setup but when i try set automatic call recorder it's set but don't record.
Were is file with record and what format it's?
- Sdcard/record and file format it's AMR

Only China firmware support call recording. They put this function because they can record but in Europe it's not legal. But when you use this file you can record call. Open dial pad go to setting and you find this option

is this some kind of new law or something ?
I think it is stupid ? I always record all my calls so I can go back cause sometimes I do not remember all the details are person said in a certain phone call and you can go back and listen again.

In Poland we can record but only when person say yes you can I can record. In my country we have stupid law. Do you try this mode

I hope we can figure out a way to to this wihtout root. Many times when I get phone calls I do not pay much attention cause I know I can always go back and listen to the phone call later..
Have you tried all different apps on google play etc ? are you sure non work ?

I use acr 14.9 by NLL and work only manual record

Hi! I'm looking forward to install this, i have TWRP 2.8.7.0.4 (i think) materialised, it flashes firmwares and related stuff because i installed several other ROMS (went back and forth on H2OS and CM12.1, for example) and everything went fine always.. Does that means that i could flash it through TWRP directly and not via the official guide? I don't want to brick it, it's my only cellphone right now Also, full wipe (internal storage too) isn't something i want to do right now, do a backup of everything i have in the phone is a tedious work
I'm thinking about edit the updater-script directly to avoid the warning error and install with no problems
Would you think it would be fine that way or should i wait for some feedback on it works well or not?

I will never install this featureless thing which contain just pieces of code they could really do for us. No maxxxaudio RAW and manual camera support and I think slow shutter is not present too.. I have marshmallow fully working stable Build which is really community build not this leftovers for forgotten phone... I am DISSAPOINTED. Period

Its just a replace of Global in chinese.Updates will be little bit faster.I recommend you install beta A firmware.It's better and good stable firm now for p6p.

Understand flyme 8 might be on android 8.Meizu is always one year back on android updates.But they always update security patch along with firmware upgrades.So wait.Since this phone can receive more android upgrades and a pro model, you can expect android upgrades next year.:fingers-crossed:

I'm a total newbie about Meizu Pro 6 Plus. I bought it for my wife yesterday. I've installed custom ROMs on plenty of Chinese phones, Samsung and LG as well but never on Meizu. All I've done is update to Flyme 7.0.1G using update.zip copied to Recovery drive (phone in recovery mode plugged to the computer). Now I'd like to update the system to a newer beta version, for example the one above. Unfortunately I can see no tutorial as usual in such cases. Does it mean that the process is the same as for the official stable version? I mean cable+recovery+update.zip.
One thing more. The author says about making backup. How can I backup the system and data partitions without TWRP? Is there any other solutions?

Tell me where you bought it from?Then i can say whether you can go to chinese from global as usual method as you said abow or not.Backup can be taken from phone itself. There is option for that in settings. Check it yourself.

The sticker at the back of the box says that the phone is to be purchased in Mainland China. I'm confused.
I don't know if I wanna go to a Chinese beta version. For now I'd like to install the newest beta Global. Of course, if beta Chinese would be better than Global I could install it. I'm afraid only tons of bloatware inside and no other languages but Chinese.
There is no chance to brick the phone doing such update? What can I do with my backup if the system will not start. Double confused.

Yeah i checked it well.As you are now in G, you can install beta G as you like, same method.It will install surely.If you want to go chinese beta(as it is the best with features now), try same method, if it shows corrupted or failed to install, it means your phone is purely global.I checked the site you bought from, the sellers at it, didn't mention whether they do unlock processes they usually done for global users. If bought it from bangood or ali, surely they done this.So same process can be done on all firmwares downloaded. It is not a junk to use chinese flyme 7 since most apps can be uninstalled without root now.I recommend you to try to install that if you can as it provide you well battery management than any other versions.:fingers-crossed:

Morover no bricks occur if you done install through flyme recovery.It will restart for sure. Dont worry. If the firmware you downloaded didn't worked, recovery didn't install it. Always do all at battery abow 80%.

Thank you very much @adarshm4you! I'll try the newest Chinese beta then. I find the phone itself a great piece of hardware but the system is just a scream of despair I see now that Google Play Services eat 60%-70% of battery power! That's insane. The last question I hope - rooting is not a problem?
The last last question: formatting data it absolutely obvious to get a stable system?

See i only enable playstore on background. This saves battery. And formatting not needed for getting stable system. But clearing data is needed while going to chinese from global and viceversa.

Rooting not a problem for meizu usually since we can flash upgrades via recovery easily.Ota support is not necessary now a days.

I have this Meizu with Flyme 7.0.1.0G on board. Can I instal this software? Is can be treated as a daily basis?

You can install it ofcourse.Global updates are slow now.Chinese beta is better.

Hello, I have Pro 6 plus bought from banggood and on the box it is Chinese but obviously flashed with global software (I don't know how they do it but in settings shows that I have global version). It comes with flyme 5. I receive OTA flyme 6.1.0.0 and flashed successful. Now I want to flash Chinese ROM but not sure if I brick my phone. Do you think it is safe to flash Chinese ROM in my case? And if yes what is best stable 7.1.5.0A or beta 7.8.7.24A ? Thanks.
