Man, it hurts to read this. You need to really use the return bar once in awhile. Most of the people here that can help don't want to stare at something so formatless for a few minutes.
Use paragraphs & sentences with structure please.

And now you suggest us we don't know/understand/can't read English. I'm not a native speaker nor a master language specialist, but I really work with text for 10 hours a day and seeing such a post makes me just mad. I'm eager to help (as I did multiple times on this and other forums), but it requires some effort from both sides.

Worst thing one can do.
Jesus Christ people, I wasn't asking for help! I was giving a freakin solution. Nobody asked anyone to read anything if they don't want to. If someone comes up with the best fix ever, but rather convoluted nonetheless, then those people are out of luck I guess. Look, I wasn't blasting anyone's english here, so you can lay that to sleep. I was just dissappointed that people take snipes at other peoples work and I figured I rather not share that post anymore, at least here.
P.S. The title of the thread was a joke/rhetorical question, in reference to two programs that causes problems in no relation to the fix. Lightin' up people, geez!
I don't see anyone "lighting you up". I see some useless comments as well as some constructive criticism.
I speak & read english fluently enough to acquire a MBA in the US & speak spanish as well.
The point is that if you wish to contribute here, do so in a productive & reader friendly manner. I understand that you wrote in Word & had a formatting problem, but nobody knew that & the fact is that after you post you are taken to the post, where you would've seen the issue & had the opportunity to rectify it.
Insinuating that other members may have issues with english after posting a poorly formatted post is kind of calling the kettle black, Mr. Pot.
At any rate, If you have something to share, please do. If not I will delete this post as in it's newly edited form it lacks any relevant info & now truly offers nothing to community.

I was insinuating that ireading english would be a relief for people who would be working with numbers all day. And secondly, I truly believed that my contribution WAS in fact very useful to this community, but because it was poorly formatted (not my fault) JAKUBD was quick to dismiss it and then GSLEON3 chimed in with his 2cents. English is not my first language so I don't know what an MBA has to do with anything at all.

If all this Linux/Android stuff was closed-source, e.g. the developers wouldn't share the "how to" then you wouldn't be able to build a custom rom in the first place. None of this knowledge is exclusively yours.

And I don't think that a standard feature of android can be claimed as "their" work.
If they don't want "their" work to be used, they should program their own android without gpl license...
If everybody thought like this none of this stuff that makes android so much better than for example ios would exist.

And btw, they also ripped themes and images without giving proper credits at first.

I'm a firm fan of ‘if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it’ so I'm not going to be flying in making huge changes or swapping things around. this is your forum I'm just here to help keep things nice. if anyone has any ideas of how to improve things in this area - (not XDA as a whole) please drop me a PM, and we’ll put it to a vote. if it’s a good idea I'll change it if i can or I'll push for the changes with the senior team.
While this may be a legacy forum it’s clear there is still a lot of interest and a lot of life in this device still keep up the work and we’ll keep the phone alive I want to start on the right foot so a FEW IMPORTANT REMINDERS
please take the time to read - and for regular users - re-read the forum rules. it’s a good thing to remind yourselves of how we work http://forum.xda-developers.com/announcement.php?f=341
All the rules are important but to focus on a few.
we are here to help and learn. people do make mistakes. I don’t like users being flamed for asking a question. I'd rather we educated and pointed people in the right way to help them for the future. it’s OK to say use search - it’s not OK to abuse people
I also don’t like people putting a lot of work into something and getting flamed either - a lot of the work posted is a work in progress - people share this out of the goodness of their heart and also so they can get positive comments on how to improve. Again it’s not OK to abuse people cos they shared a work in progress.
sharing work - many developers are happy to share their work with others and in some cases one persons work is used as a base by others. - If you want to change someones work and then release it as your own - ASK FOR PERMISSION FIRST AND THEN LINK TO THE ORIGINAL DEV IN YOU RELEASE!!!

Recently. One of my favorite developers removed his work from XDA
1) consider this as a thank thread I know a lot of developers as well as xda members have helped you out do a million things on your handheld and have made your phone worthwhile
And I also know that there is the thank button for it in every forum
But sometimes thanks just isn't enough

So this is your place to thank every single guy that helped you in this forum
