Hello guys ! I want to change my Lg G2 for a note 4 but i have a question .
If i buy the note 4 the processor is in 32 bits but i want to keep for two years minimum. Do you think it's better to take a phone with an 64 bits proc or i can take it and for two years i have acces to the future android update ? If i need to root my phone or make other manipulation it's not a problem ! Sorry for my english i'm a french guy :/

The 32 bit will be fine for the next few years, not much is utilizing the 64bit at the moment anyway, android M is scheduled to hit the note 4 in Febuary 2016

n9005 is better the the n900, but if custom roms is a concern for you, then n9005 is the right one.
in doing daily tasks, there are no noticeable differences except for battery life which i read that it is better on the n9005.
if you can get someone to buy it for you (n9005) and check for hardware issues, it would be great.
i myself had to buy it from outside my country (my cousin bought it and sent it to me) and got it right with no problems from the first time.
i bought the n9005 version because custom roms are a big concern for me (you know, why am i buying an android if i'm not going to mod it?)

For all intents and purposes, you will always want to stick with the Qualcomm Snapdragon version of any phone, including the N900x. The Samsung Exynos SoC may be able to provide you with better battery life and performance (Samsung's approach to controlling both hardware and software of their devices like Apple), but the weak developer support is simply not worth it. And all versions of the Qualcomm model (with the exception of Verizon's) are the same International version with an unlocked bootloader, and therefore can be flashed with any ROM from the Android Development forum.

Exynos device is not supported by many good devs, so really, if you want to use custom roms on your phone, then you are better buy an snapdragon version

Hello,
at the first: I'm dont live in England or in the USA and I don't speak english very good/well.
I want to buy a new Phone. The Note 3 is a very good Phone, but I heard the Note 3 has "eFuse & KNOX" and that's very bad.
Then I thought about the Phone Note 2. The Note 2 hasn't the eFuse. But one day after I heard the Note 2 has "KNOX" and If I run a Custom Rom on my Note 2 then the number of KNOX go to 0x1 -.-". And If the number 0x1 then I haven't warranty for my Phone Note 2.
What do you think ?
Buy the Note 2 and wait for a solution for KNOX or buy the Note 2 and run a Custom Rom, but If the Phone bricks or have a damaged, then I haven't a warranty and Samsung shouldn't repair the Phone or ?
And I have a another Question:
Which Phone is better ( Price and Perfomance )
Note 3 or Note 2 with DN3 Custom Rom. ?
Yours sincerely,
Albert

Well the note 3 will be better than the note2. And they will both have knox, weather this acttually affects the servicing warranty is yet to be seen but I would imagine that it would. If you want to avoid knox the get a htc one
Thank you...

Thank you for the Answer!
But on saturday I bought the Note 2 . You are right but If i think in the next year or in 1,5 years I want a new phone then the Note 3 is little better then the Note 2, Or? (Price + Perfomance) But you are right,.. the Note 3 are better
I don't like HTC. I don't know why but I am know you can not put a SD Card in all HTC Devices or change the accu of all HTC Devices.
But do you think in the future is KNOX a big Problem or a small Problem ?
If in the Future KNOX is a very big Problem then I change the Phone maker (Example: Sony, HTC,...).
(sry for my english)

You could always put an SD is "some" HTC devices.
You can also 100% definately put a SD card in the new HTC One.
I also just got a brand new Note II (I317M), and of course tripped Knox right away rooting.
It seems some progress is being made, and I've been told that there is a way to reset Knox that *only* works for the Note II, though I haven't confirmed it, or found working instructions so I don't know if I'm just being trolled.
Perhaps you'll have better luck than me finding the information Albert.

Note 2 beats Note 3.. In its price as compared to features ratio.. a great smartphone with super amoled, powerful quad core which can handle any game and application with ease..

If you are new then buy note3, no brain. ~400€ the 32 gb model
cons:
- 3gb
- 1080p (2x pixel vs 720p)
- IR remote
- better sound
- better call quality
- much smoother, faster (antutu 34k n3 vs 21k n2)
- much better camera, with really cool features
- much brighter screen
- -20gr (note2 185gr vs note 3 is only 162gr)
- same size (dimensions' n2 = n3)
- better s-pen hw support, easier to write (closer to life)
- instant kitkat
don't waste your time with kid roms

If you want a Lumia, buy a Lumia. Bizzarre menus? Check. Limited appstore? Check. Difficulties syncing? Check.
Lumias by themselves ain't bad, they got some great cameras (the high-end ones), the low-end Lumias are better performers than the low-end Androids, I have to admit.
It has been done before, the HTC HD2 started as a Windows device, but Android has been ported for it and development is still going.
The Note 3, however, is not a device with too much development for it.
Either sell it and get a Lumia, or get used to it. Even if it's 2015, the Note 3 is one infernally powerful device, trust us on that.
hello .. m planning to buy a fone n this Asus Zenfone 5 A501CG came to my mind but like wanted to know the opinion of the users of this fone so asking here like wat are the flaws in this and should i buy this or there is some better one u could suggest ?
dont wana spend much coz have samsung note 4 already . but still want atleast 2gb ram fone
Zenfone 2 Laser will be better choice
Just stay away from any phone with Intel chip.
thanks a lot
@SunnyGrewal11 I would recomend you to buy other phones, intel is not the best choice, only if you want to play in emulators, zenfone 5 does an awesome job at psp and other's emulators, I recomend you zenfone 2 laser, or redmi note 3
Yes, but Redmi Note 3's software is a piece of crap. Lots of bloatware and unnecessary options are present. Just wait for Moto G4 Play to arrive at the same price as this. It'll be the best choice. It's going to be launched in a few days (In India).
Never buy a phone with intel processor in it cuz they drain battery faster . Go for moto g4 and dont do the same mistake which i did

I've asked the Devs to port S9 over to my Motorola StarTac first. Then someone asked for a port to the Nokia 5100... If they have time after that MAYBE.
I speak seriously... Don't speak over the subject and speak about the subject
The galaxy note 3 have necessary performance to run android oreo with Samsung s9 features. 3go ram and quad-core 2.26 GHz are very good to run this.
Why not, maybe, because I love to think in the future, add à custom kernel with à little overclock cpu and gpu ( maybe 2,5 GHz for the cpu and 500 mhz for the gpu)
"old" hardware are large capacity to run New Android, New rom, I don't want to buy a s9 that Cost 1000-1200€... I love my note 3 and I think seriously he have all capacity to run a s9/note 9 rom with android O
Thanks for your answers

Not sure if that's classed as abuse .
However its up to Developers to choose what they want to do . That is often down to a lot more than just xxx release . Hardware drivers etc all come int play .

Devs are successfully port note 8/s8 rom to the galaxy note 3, but in marshmallow rom... Is it possible to port s9/note 9 with Android 6.0.1 like for exemple magma nx ?
Drivers are in 32 bits for the note 3.. Is it possible to convert 64 bits drivers to 32 bits drivers? This Question is for transition between Android 6 with Android 7 or 8.
Thanks for your answers,
