Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum.
I purchased a Moto X Play a couple of days back, everything was working fine till today morning when I was struggling with getting 3g network on 4G/3G preferred mode. I decided to change the preference in phone setting using*#*#3646#*#*.
Upon trying different options it remained stuck to gsm only mode, so I tried clicking "turn radio off" a few times which would make the signal go and come back in a few seconds but suddenly I lost network in sim 1 and have been trying everything for last couple of hours but won't get the signal back. I even tried swapping the sims and using a different sim but network in slot 1 is still off the radar. In the sim setting the phone would show the sim but there is no network. Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

lastweek i faced same problem.
It is caused by selecting us band
you can just flash modem and it will recover.
modem file is in this forum. you can find it easily

fastboot flash modem modem.bin
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
I'm not sure but you don't have to unlock your bootloader for this process, so your warranty will be ok. i think.
Do I need a pc for this process or it can be done on phone itself? Can u plz share some step by step tutorial as I am a novice. Also please tell me if there is some simple method to do this without using a pc.
Update: the ROM in above link is for single sim model while mine is a dual sim model.

okay..got an s4 on o2. Used the unlock method, to get into the utms menu, i updated the baseband with a certain version,now it just wont change it via the odin flash? Any ideas. The handset is unlocked but for some reason, whenever i lock the phone and turn back on,the network drops. If i keep the screen on,the network remains. Ive tried a few roms and tried changing the baseband on all of them
but for some reason it wont stick...any ideas?

Try this one mate
Turn off your device
Boot into downloadmode
Open Odin / Select Phone/CP
Untick Autoreboot
Flash modem
Reboot once again into Download Mode using (Power+Vol down)
Flash Modem once more
Once done,unplug then reboot device manually.
If this doesn't work, try repeating the flash process again while rebooting manually and with auto-reboot option turned off.
That worked spot on. Phones still unlocked. Not network drops at all.

I have an iphone4g japan release. I have checked the imei number 012425004224049 online.. Showed that it's not blacklisted on softbank but is blacklisted on verizon.
1. How was it possible to be blacklisted with verizon and it was a japan release iphone?
2. Is there a way to reflash iphone baseband running on ios7.1.1 from BB 4.12.09 to 1.59.00 to be able use gevey sim?
3. Is it possible to replace ios7.1.1 baseband file ice_4.12.09 in the ipsw and replace it with the unlockable BB file ice_1.59.00
Then restore the iphone with the customized ipsw?
4. Can we reverse engineer ipsw file? How?

I use Samsung Galaxy S5 a year and less. Friend of mine brought it from the US. It’s unlocked with a code. The device is TMobile. A few days ago I used it as Hotspot router, to share internet to my laptop. I restarted the phone, but not turned off the Hotspot. When the phone is switched on, displaying the following error: "Secure Fail: Modem ...“in red letters, top left and in the middle - exclamation point in a yellow triangle, and below it the inscription in white letters: "Security Error: This phone has been flashed with unauthorized software & is locked. Call your mobile operator for additional support. Please note that repair/return for this issue may have additional cost". I tried to flash with Odin with different ROMs for model G900T. It gave me PASS all times, but the error still comes and the phone does not start. I gave it to a friend who has GSM service. He said he made 6 service flash and nothing. He tried flash with stock ROM and 4 fiels+pit, but nothing. I tried different tutorials from here, but I am not quite good and not sure I do things properly. I dis flash with this CF-Auto-Root-kltetmo-kltetmo-smg900t. Again same error but I had a different boot menu. There did a few cash and full resets. After that the phone started and stopped on Samsung android advertise. I flash with stock ROM after and again same modem error. I am from Bulgaria. I called to local Samsung service. They refused me to see the phone because they are not authorized. Have to repair just in USA, but this is complicated. Any idea what to do? Please, give a few tutorials to repair this!

Please, you could give me threads which contains thing I have to do to repair my phone. No problem if I have to do few things. Important is to try everything possible again and in wright order.
Here's what I did...I used an older phone to download my modem to since my laptop was down at the time...I then booted into TWRP recovery after I've inserted the extSD card and from there I used TWRP to get modem back..hopefully I understood ur question and this would help you..sorry if it doesn't!

well i'm facing a very big issue with my Lenovo k6 note (k53a48), for example, when i try to make updates to my apps or install new ones via play store, i starts the download normally, but when screen is off, it doesn't install the app that was downloading and also doesn't go to download next app in queue untill i go again to play store. also messages apps like what's up and viber messages don't show when screen is off until i go to the app and open it,
i tried a multiple Stock ROMs, i have that problem in marshmallow and nougat also, i did factory reset, the same issue persists
checked also options like : apps always on in background is checked for all the apps, also wifi always on. also phone is not in battery economy mode.
so i don't know from where it comes this problem, please help me

backup all of your data,format data,system,cache and dalvik, i think it is encryption problem. How did you install the stock roms? Via QFIL or...?
i have big problem lenovo k6 note. i try to flash using lenovo smart assistant many times but still got restarting issue and also second simcard not working. but if i switch between sim 1 and sim 2 is working. but cant work both. any solution for me ?

Install ADB & required drivers on your pc.
Turn on usb debugging from developer options on your K6 note.
Connect your phone to pc and open ADB.
Type the following commands-
fastboot reboot
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot
Done, your problem would be solved.

solved for dual sim card but not solved for restarting problem. k6 note restarting intermittenly very frustated no solution restarting problem.
Try using Qfil

I don't know which ROM you are trying to flash but if nothing is wrong with ROM itself then you can try using Qfil to flash ROM on your K6 note.
(I personally used Qfil for flashing ROM on my K53a48)

are you sure this will solve the problem. im facing the problem for one year.. now I'm using a single sim for ignoring the problem.
I've flashed a number custom roms and stock roms after that my device doesn't recognise dual sim.. if i insert two sim card at same time..then the device will choose one sim card . only that one will work.. my two slots are working because i checked inserting a single sim card at each sim slots. but if i insert two sim cards either of one will work.. so i goto lenovos service centre but they cant fix the problem. so i started to use single sim card.
my device is also k53a48
if i use the above command is it will cause further error..??

Yes, it should definitely work.
Even I had the same issue few months ago and searched a lot for solution. Finally on Lenovo's official website a person posted this solution.
I have flashed ROM multiple times on my device and faced this sim issue almost all the times.
I actually discovered this solution while I was searching for "Network band switched to US" issue. Used it when I personally faced this dual SIM card issue and it worked.

Hey... So I tried to flash LineageOS v15.1 on my Lenovo K6 Note for which wiping the entire system is needed... But the flashing process failed and now I'm stuck with no operating system and can't get into recovery mode... Please help!?

I am having redmi note 3G 2013121 which was booting only in recovery mode. So I flashed it using SP tool and FASTBOOT ROM 7.5.2.0.KHDMIDE, but accidentally I used option Download+Format due to which I lost my IMEI number and NVRAM.
So I rooted the phone and loaded the IMEI with help of MTK DROID ROOT & TOOL.
Now My phone detects the SIM shows the operator name but no signal. I tried flashing MIUI 6, MIUI 5 but I am not able to fix it.
please help on same.
Also I loaded the NVRAM from other device 2013121 but still I am not able to fix the issue
Also when I search network manually it shows no network found or some times TATA DOCOMO 2G is shown

My yu yureka a05510 was stuck in bootloop automatically. To resolve the issue i downloaded Yu_Yureka_AO5510_V2_15.04.15_lollipop and flashes it with YGDP software. After setting up the device ,my network is unavailable. The sim detects on both slots but there is no network. I went to the *#*#4636#*#* and tried chaging the settings there by turning off the radio but no luck.
I even deleted the access points and setting the AP manually but still no network. I flashed modems from stock rom but i the cellular network is still not available.
Can anyone help me with this problem

5 open the flash.bat file, commands will run automatically

Check the IMEI.
If it syas 0123456789 or some thing like that then your IMEI number gone.
You have to restore IMEI number
then only network signal connects
