nexus 7 USB radio FM

hello guys I wanted to ask if the nexus 7 support via the USB OTG FM radio
there someone who has tried it?
Yes, certainly!
Just get one of those cheapy RTL2832U based USB DVB-T dongles (they can be as low as £5.60 from eBay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?LH_BIN=1&_fcid=3&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_clu=2&_nkw=RTL2832U&_sop=2)
Then download SDR Touch - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=marto.androsdr
You don't even need to root your Nexus 7.
OT: Would it be possible to get some IR dongle from Ebay for applications that need it to work properly on Nexus 7?

And as an added bonus (other than bringing a one year old thread back to life), works as an scanner for aviation, police, HAM radio, CB (with a pinch of luck) and anything else in the ~25mhz to 1 gigahertz range. With a proper antenna, you can even capture weather satellite images.

NFC Tags work great!

I wondered how well NFC tags would work when I have to rub 2 Nexus 7's together for about 30 seconds to get a file transfer started, but the NFC tags I just tried are great. It has no trouble recognizing them right away even through the case cover.
I used these NTAG203 tags:

Fingerprint Sensor

Hi ,
I've been trying to re-use the fingerprint sensor on the Nexus 6P as a means of prototyping some spi sensors. I have disabled both SPI buses 1 and 5 in the dts and disabled the SPI context hub drivers. The issue is that the fingerprint scanner is still operational. Does anyone know how to determine what SPI bus is being used for the fingerprint sensor? and what pins so I can reassign it to be used as a general SPI bus or QUP SPI bus?

NFC not active

Hello,
I have a problem with the NFC. It is active but the applications it uses do not recognize active NFC.
Is there another option active?
For info I'm on X720 rom stock 18s no root.
thank you
No, this is the only option to enable.
What exactly do you mean with "the applications it uses do not recognize active NFC"?
Does the application show you an error? Or does your app work normally but is not detecting any NFC tags?
In the second case: be aware that the NFC antenna is not placed in the middle of the phone but near the top so you have to hold the NFC tags near the upper end of your phone.

Yes, it does not detect tags either.
I tried "easy nfc" on the playstore and it does not detect the active nfc.
I don't know what "Easy NFC" is supposed to do, but it doesn't seem to be an NFC reader app. It also doesn't work on my other test devices.
Try "NFC TagInfo by NXP" instead which is made directly by NXP (the same company which also produces the NFC hardware chip in your phone) and it also supports a wide range of NFC tags.
thanks, I'll try.
Not sure if this helps, but I found that NFC works at the camera area instead of the bottom half of the phone. Worth a shot, because I know I got worried when I tried to test NFC as well.

Thank you, I try next time.
