After I updated my windows to build 1511 full screen start menu tiles look blurry and horrible!

They used to be ok before the update.
i have same problem
all drivers are up to date.
Can't confirm this. No irritations encountered after having updated to version 1511.

Hello All,
I just downloaded PhoneAlarm 1.27 and i can't seem to resize it properly. It is only about a little more than an inch wide and the fonts dont seem to be aligned properly.
Is this normal?
Can someone show me a screen capture of their PhoneAlarm on the Universal?
I tried a few other skins but most of them are either very small or the fonts are misaligned
PhoneAlarm 1.3 which is going to be compatible with WM5 & VGA devices, was supposed to be due Jan 7th 2006. However, it seems now we can only get the new version mid-late Jan 2006.
PhoneAlarm 1.30 which is actually the version compatible with WM5, is out as Beta 1 today. I have been following and trying this out since Alpha-8. I highly recommend it.
The skin problem appearing too small on the Universal's VGA screen is also now resolved as the installer available for download has VGA compatible skin built in.

Once you have installed PhoneAlarm then in phonealarm settings go to the display tab. For the skins you will see a drop down list. Select any of the HGS6VGA skins. There a total of 3, namely HGS6VGA_min, HGS6VGA_max and HGS6VGA_min_L. All these are suitable for your device. Personally I prefer the HGS6VGA_min_L since this does not take a lot of my today screen space and is for landscape mode.

I try with 300x400 portrait, 360x480 Portrait, 480x640 Portrait, 600x800 Portrait and no problem

Thanks working stable on WM 6.1 (xplode's rom) but its completly crap becouse 360x480 fonts are very unclear and not readable.

that's a Wisbar theme
i ran those for a bit but kept finding on my universal and blue angel that it would kill the windows key on the keyboard and few other issuews of conflict so i stopped using it
but it works good

I have some problems when I capture video with my Touch HD.
1. I seem to get a 1-2 second sound lag. Anyone who knows how to solve the problem?
2. Even though I have chosen CIF-format, it seems like the captured video has like 15 fps and the video is not very smooth. Is there another setting that sets the frame rate?
My previous phone, Touch Diamond, had the same problems. Anyone else who has these problems?

I looked at HTC's site and I can only find one hotfix and that one is a solution when the screen stops responding for about 3 to 5 seconds.
Where can I find the fix you're talking about?

yeah I contact them regarding the LG Incite (same res as Omnia) and they sent me a canned response indicating that 240X400 is not supported. It would have been nice if they at least said something about possible future support. At least Opera works.
anyone know how to get scrolling working with this? I have ftouchsl installed on my trinity and scrolling works great with opera but doesnt work at all with skyfire.... it doesn't support scrolling?
It supports native scrolling, maybe you should add skyfire to Ftouchflo exceptions (there may be a conflict).

Played a bit with this version, Flashlite 3 worked after reinstall on memory (i had Opera on SD and this one is on memory)
I can't tell if it is much faster than the build 1957, but it scrolls fast, the zoom is smooth and there is no landscape issues with my kaiser when using the hardware keyboard. I also noticed that it lags less than previous build when scrolling/zooming with flash stuff on the page.

Darn, didn't fix two of my issues - Stars don't show up on the Google Reader Iphone version (google.com/reader/i) and my phone is still identified as a mobile device for ESPN.com. The mobile version loads automatically and I cannot get the regular version to load, even though in my settings I have it set to identify itself as a desktop computer.
Anyone else run into these issues?

Just installed this version and now everytime i start my phone is just insists on loading up opera on its own, and if i close it, it will just fire it back up every minute

I found the culprit...
the application OperapreL.exe was loading up everytime so i just moved it to a different location so the phone cant load it... and now it works fine

Edit: If it works, the page will show a login screen. Wait until the page stops loading because on the Opera builds where it doesn't work, it briefly shows the login screen before quickly changing to the browser incompatibility page.

Guys, calm down...
It isn't a zoom slider like in the other opera versions. There isn't a "zoom" button. This one...tap on the right side of the screen, and slide finger. If you wait too long you get the menu. You will see a vertical zoom bar popup. Much better IMHO since it doesn't have the zoom button covering up the screen.

VGA skin is attached. I did it real quick, there might be a few glitches, I used the basic diamond skin, but this one has all features of the omnia version. so give it a shot. it is better then nothing at least. and it works great on the touch pro.
