I have been searching but don't see an answer. I loaded a CM and another AOSP style ROM on my MXPE and Bluetooth keeps dropping out and won't turn back on until reboot. Seems to happen a few minutes after screen is locked. Anyone have any idea why?

So I may have fixed it. I changed kernels to xClark and been hooked up for 30 minutes with no dropping.

So my WiFi randomly stops working (while connected to the WiFi network and everything), and then, without me doing anything, a few hours into the day, it suddenly starts pulling email and working just fine.... then randomly -without me doing anything, stops working. Any idea what's going on with my phone?
Same problem here. Already had 2 atrixs and same problem with booth

This phone is an effing fail.
Remind me to never buy a non-Nexus phone (damn you Google for not including 720p recording in the Nexus S)
Many people don't realize that an old/bad modem will do exactly what you describe. I've had 2 in past years. The atrix issue will drop the icon. Check your modem.

It also happens at home when my laptop is working perfectly fine, but my phone, not so much. Hotspot is right next to both.
That does suck. Wish I could help. My atrix wifi flakes out but not horrible. A few seconds and it reconnects.

All of a sudden, my tablet is going crazy. Never had a wifi prob before. But since latest update it has taken a while to connect to the internet.
Then last night and into today, it is connecting/disconnecting every 2 seconds. It never locks in and stays with my router. I have to shut down and when it comes back on its good. But as soon as it goes to sleep it can never reconnect with a hard shutdown.
Anyone have any idea or similar problem?

I had a similar problem. It ended up not being my transformer but my router, turned it off and back on. Smooth sailing since.

In my experience, that's a sign that there is something corrupted in the configuration...credentials or whatever...
Even if you KNOW the information....do this:
Delete the current connection and recreate it in your TF...
that should take care of it.
So you are both saying to delete the router, turn the router off/on and then reconnect?
I will give that a whirl...

Did you install the Google Maps update? Version 5.10.0 form 8 september? I read that this update is the problem of the continuing connect/disconnect.
Look here for some other people who has the the problem : http://www.transformerforums.com/forum/asus-transformer-help/6324-wifi-acting-up.html
So far so good! Thanks guys!

Had the same problem. I updated to a new kernel and it went away.
Hey everyone I have had a problem with my note 3. I have swapped to a new phone and I still have the same problems. The Wi-fi disconnects and the app I am in either force closes or resets. I do not know if it is ram or something but it just stops working. Does anyone else have this issue? It's so annoying and I do not know how to fix this..

I figured out the problem. In my house I get Little to no signal. I guess it ends up cutting off. I have no idea why but it does. Kinda stupid if you ask me...

Sorry if I've missed something here guys but I noticed mention of the Bluetooth wakelock bug on KitKat builds. I had it too within hours of flashing it I had over 1 hour odd of keep awake in battery stats.
After going into Bluetooth and enabling it then disabling it, it still hasn't increased it seems to have stopped for now. Can anyone replicate this or explain this? I haven't had time to grab a logcat and look at it yet I'm at work currently.

Just reboot.

Read something about this, somewhere.. if only I could remember now. In KitKat, Bluetooth isn't actually eating up the battery when it's not being used.

But its visibly keeping the phone awake. So it must be using it I never had it enabled before it appeared in battery stats.

I posted data thought about this at another thread where what I think is that just WiFi in 4.4.2 Bluetooth is always on although disabled but it should not be consuming battery(thanks to the low energy) unless it's connecting to other devices in fact I actually tend to use Bluetooth 50% of the time to play games with my moga and music in the car or with my deck at home and still get 15 hours easy

Yeah I spoke too soon its updated to 9 hours keep awake now but I have 3 hours screen on time and still at 50 percent battery so I don't think its actually using much if anything

I have the Pure and I am running the leaked soak for MM and ever since I installed it my WiFi works great until I leave wherever I am. If I am at home my WiFi works perfect until I leave the house and come back home. When o get back home my WiFi has shut itself off and I have to turn it back on. This NEVER happens before. Is there something I am missing?

Am I the only one having this problem?
Sent from my XT1575
I'm still on lp, but haven't seen anyone mention that yet. I'm guessing you tried resetting connection?
Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk 2
Yes, it still does this. There has to be something I am missing.

Only thing I see it take little longer to connect to WiFi. Otherwise never had this issue you describe.

Hopefully one MM officially drops this issue will stop for me.

Happens to me overnight. I had a similar thing happen on my m8 but it was being caused by my overnight backup using TiBu. I haven't really looked into on the MXPE.

Same here, it's significantly slower in MM.
