Has anyone else had problems with the WiFi on their epic? I have a recurring issue where it connects but never receives any data so I cant use any data while connected to WiFi? What makes it stranger is that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't...

Anyone? I use WiFi a lot and this has been a serious issue for me...

Have never had that problem. Sounds like a bugger though!

It's been a real pain in the butt to me, especially since I had to do a lot of browsing and YouTube from my phone at the hotel I'm staying at and 3g sucks compared to WiFi...
So all of a sudden it starts working again... I am really hating this phone sometimes, do you guys think I should try my luck with swapping it out for another epic? I'm only 15 of my 30 days in
I've had no issues with wifi whatsoever. Can you provide some more details?

I wish I could, all I know is I am running stock deodexed with geniusdogs kernel
All of a sudden, my tablet is going crazy. Never had a wifi prob before. But since latest update it has taken a while to connect to the internet.
Then last night and into today, it is connecting/disconnecting every 2 seconds. It never locks in and stays with my router. I have to shut down and when it comes back on its good. But as soon as it goes to sleep it can never reconnect with a hard shutdown.
Anyone have any idea or similar problem?

I had a similar problem. It ended up not being my transformer but my router, turned it off and back on. Smooth sailing since.

In my experience, that's a sign that there is something corrupted in the configuration...credentials or whatever...
Even if you KNOW the information....do this:
Delete the current connection and recreate it in your TF...
that should take care of it.
So you are both saying to delete the router, turn the router off/on and then reconnect?
I will give that a whirl...

Did you install the Google Maps update? Version 5.10.0 form 8 september? I read that this update is the problem of the continuing connect/disconnect.
Look here for some other people who has the the problem : http://www.transformerforums.com/forum/asus-transformer-help/6324-wifi-acting-up.html
So far so good! Thanks guys!

Had the same problem. I updated to a new kernel and it went away.
I haven't seen anybody create a thread about this, but has anyone not been able to enable their bluetooth without rebooting their device? I'll hit the bluetooth toggle in the settings and it just shots off right away. I'm not exactly sure what's causing it but I'm hoping that it's just a software issue since I use A2DP to listen to music.
EDIT: I performed a Factory Reset, I'll let you guys know if this problem still occurs.

Yeah same here, had that a while ago.. it happened after I used bluetooth for a while then switched it off, and then when I tried switching it on again after about 10-15 mins it wouldnt switch on. Had to reboot before it worked again..
Hope there's a software fix soon!

Would you recommend a factory reset?
I've had this happen occasionally on my N4, have to reboot in order to enable BT again. I'm guessing a software bug to be fixed in a future update. I doubt a factory reset will cure the problem.
Had this happen yesterday. I figured it was the nfc tag getting triggered too many times in the car mount? Simple reboot fixed it though.

I'm really hoping that this is just a software issue. I really don't want to RMA again. I actually have a Nexus 4 with a perfect screen.
Boooo

I just experienced this problem as well. It was really annoying. Even toggling airplane mode wouldn't even work. On reboot, my bluetooth was already on though.

It's looking like a software problem. I wonder if people are experiencing this on CM10.

It's kind of annoying when I'm all motivated for a run and then my headphones won't connect. -_-

happens to me to. BT won't come on and need to reboot phone to fix issue.
i only use BT while driving as my music streams from the N4.
It's prob a software bug. i wonder if there's a service that we could kill that may get it to work again with rebooting.
Same here. Reboot fixes the issue for me.

First issue with my N4 I've experienced is this - happened just now and came looking to see if I was the only one. Normally I have alogcat installed, but hadn't gotten around to it yet. Next time it happens I'll fire it up and see if there's any useful messages or not If I get any info from it I'll share it here.

Thanks man. If it doesn't turn out to be a software issue, I'm going to RMA.

Got around to using my GPS yesterday and for some reason either the GPS would freeze up for about 30 seconds then find me again or it would constantly lose signal. I'm stock rooted, straight talk sim, any ideas on what I could do to remedy this?
Search faster fix on the market, and use it!

This shouldn't be a problem on stock devices, have you tried a factory reset? Else see if you are having an "Apple antenna-gate" esque situation due to a metal case

I have only had the GN3 for a few days and it has started randomly shutting down. It seems to happen randomly, however it happens almost every time I put it in my pocket. I have tried clearing the cache and completely resetting the phone through the recovery options.
I have not tried rooting it yet.
Is anyone else seeing this?
If you just got the phone and its stock I would return it . Sounds defective to me . I haven't heard of anyone reporting this issue stock.
