I have the Pure and I am running the leaked soak for MM and ever since I installed it my WiFi works great until I leave wherever I am. If I am at home my WiFi works perfect until I leave the house and come back home. When o get back home my WiFi has shut itself off and I have to turn it back on. This NEVER happens before. Is there something I am missing?

Am I the only one having this problem?
Sent from my XT1575
I'm still on lp, but haven't seen anyone mention that yet. I'm guessing you tried resetting connection?
Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk 2
Yes, it still does this. There has to be something I am missing.

Only thing I see it take little longer to connect to WiFi. Otherwise never had this issue you describe.

Hopefully one MM officially drops this issue will stop for me.

Happens to me overnight. I had a similar thing happen on my m8 but it was being caused by my overnight backup using TiBu. I haven't really looked into on the MXPE.

I can't figure this out and its driving me batty. When my phone is on wifi and the screen is off, it will stop syncing with Google.
I turn my screen on and the wifi signal is grey, then after a moment, it turns blue and I get my Google voice texts, gmail, etc.
Dies anyone have any idea?

well, i gave it a go and ran with it all day. still no incoming gmail or google voice texts when the screen is off
even when the screen is on, the notifications are very delayed. might it be a router setting..? it does only seem to happen at home..

what ROM/kernel are you running? Did you flash a kernel with updated wifi drivers and flash another (kernel) without reinstalling the ROM?
Otherwise, yes...check your router settings.
I'm sorry that changing out to wifi never sleeps, didn't fix your problem.
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
The stock Droid 3 ROM has a battery saving "feature" in the settings. Do you have that somewhere?

Make sure to read the changelog of the kernel. Some kernels include updated WiFi/Bluetooth drivers and if you switch kernels you must reflash the ROM to revert the drivers.

I'm not getting any WhatsApp messages unless I turn my screen on for a few seconds then they all come in. Any ideas what this is?

Are you on WiFi? If you are, there's a wifi delay bug.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
Ya I know about that. That isn't the issue. Also, when I am on WiFi and leave home my cellular network doesn't connect sometimes once I disconnect form wifi

Have noticed about once a day at random times, my wifi and data signal will disappear when using the phone. I have to switch airplane mode on and back off to get my connections back. Not a major Issue, but slightly annoying.
Anyone else have this problem or know the cause?

I'm having an issue where my wifi icon disappears but I'm still connected to wifi. Also, the toggle is grayed out. Pretty annoying. I'm on the Sprint GS5.

The toggle is greyed out on mine too and cannot switch it back on. The only difference is that I loose wifi and network connection. Mine is o2 UK unbranded handset.
Update: my connections are still active when this happens.
Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
I'm getting the same thing here, the data and wifi icons occasionally disappear and the wifi toggle goes dark (as if it's not connected), but I'm still connected and get data just fine.
Do you reckon this is a hardware or software fault?

I did install adblock (unrooted) for about 30 minutes and then removed it when I first got my phone. Not sure if the problem started before or after.

Its not problem adaway. I test it.
Would be nice to find out the reason why this is happening.

It didn't happen yesterday so will wait for next samsung update and see if that solves the problem. Unless it gets worse then I will factory reset.
update : shortly after I posted this it happened again so I tested the connection and I was still connected to wifi.

No, I stopped looking as I think they only work properly if your rooted.

Is any one else having issues with random reboots after the recent system update? This has happened 4 times now all under different random scenarios.

He probably disabled a bunch of apps and forgot to enable them when he updated his phone.
Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
Did you update OTA or ODIN?
It was ota and no I didnt disable any apps. I have noticed it seems to be happening when my bluetooth is on. Oh and I dont use themes just nova.
Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
Now that I think about it I wonder if it was that night mode that nova just added. Never remember the issues before that and it was turned on right around the same time as that system update. I turned that off to see if it happens again.
Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
Turns out nova beta and or night mode was the issue. Went back to stable version and removed night mode options. No more reboots and my bluetooth works like a champ now.
Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
So you think it's night mode. I'll t that. Had 4 reboots yesterday connected to BT listening to iheart. Today i was using Google maps in the car and not only did it freeze up it reset while i was driving.
Seriously frustrating.
I read somewhere that it is the connection optimizer but I cannot find it for the life of me, it's been weeks now.
Yes it's been updated. No I'm not rooted yet.

I have seen this behavior too. At first I thought it was my Droid Automation triggering incorrectly, but I disabled that and I still had the Wi-Fi turn on.

is it turning on Wi-Fi or is it Wi-Fi scanning? On your gps settings, Wi-Fi scanning is turned on by default under improve accuracy. Try that

Did you guys try checking the T-Mobile app? I think it's the network connection manager or something like that.
My girlfriend had that on her S6. I disabled all of that for her (she isn't rooted though) and she hasn't had a problem since.
On the other hand, I've never experienced the issue for some reason.
