Yes, you're rooted and ready
I just got my second hand Nexus 6p and the bootloader came unlocked and TWRP is installed.
The updates don't work when TWRP is installed so I want to go back to the stock recovery.
How can I achieve that?
Build number: MMB29P
Android 6.0.1
January 2016 patch.
twrp has nothing to do with not being able to take an update.

read this, regardless.

If you want to return to stock, use fastboot and follow section 10 of this guide by Heisenberg.
Edit: See above post lol

I got a notification that there's and update.
So I downloaded it and try to install it but it just takes me to TWRP and nothing happens.

Did you read the suggestions offered to you? You remove by installing stock recovery.

Yes I read it and I'm following the steps now.
But I was just saying that I'm not able to update when TWRP is installed, this guy above said that TWRP has nothing to do with it.

If you are on the pro 500gb, you can't root right now on marshmellow. Only the 16gb shields
that is correct no recovery, no showing nothing in twrp

Thank you, the tutorial you linked worked and my phone is now rooted. Do you have a list of bloatware that is okay to remove, as in, can I remove beaming service?
