I just got my 6p and I had a note 4 with a zenwatch 2 everything worked great
I have had the 6p for almost a week and I notice my zenwatch 2 disconnects a lot and won't reconnect... I can turn off my Bluetooth on the phone and it will last awhile but continues to happen.... The 6p has a week vibrate so I rely on the watch for notifications. I have reset the watch twice and same issues. I am not running any crazy apps just straight Google apps for email and what not... Any ideas?

Hi there,
Has anyone else experience delays with push notifications on their Nexus 4? As far as I can tell, any application that uses data has their notifications delayed anywhere from a few minutes to a half an hour when the screen is off on my phone. Gmail, Google Talk, etc. all have this problem. Anyone else? Presumably this is a battery saving feature, but I'd rather have the option to turn it on or off. The problem occurs on both cell and wifi connections.
Thanks!
FK
I have also noticed the same last few days.

Since first day with Whatsapp
Tried different kernels, ROMs. It's a Nexus 4 thing.
I was having problem with bluetooth and wifi turning off on a recent replacement phone from asurion and being unable to get it back on, got wifi fixed and then bluetooth would not turn on so then sent me a second replacement.
Was working fine for a month or so and started getting some similar symptoms this morning...
Wifi will not turn on. Bluetooth will not turn on. They simply toggle over stay gray and then go back. When I look at notification setting shortcut bar wifi shows as light green after initial boot then goes to disabled after I try to toggle.
I just did a factory reset... thoughts/ideas? Could this be hardware and is this common?
Thanks in advance.
IMO my money would be on Asurion buying refurb phones from the carriers and sending those out as replacements.
Casual testing won't weed out the lemons with come-and-go hardware problems.
Stuff comes in as a lemon, gets "tested" with the "seems OK" result, and goes back out as a "refurb" lemon.
Seems like as time marches on for a particular phone model, the ratio of lemon refurbs to decent refurbs probably would only get larger.
I have the same issue. But I've had my note 3 for a couple of years now. It's the same one I've had and running the same ROM for the last year or so. I'm running biggins 4.4.2. Everything ran great up until about a month or so ago and now the WiFi won't hardly connect and when it does it constantly disconects. And it keeps randomly rebooting also. It's really aggravating.

Hi, I'm new on this, my friend rooted my phone 2 years ago and he is always who installs my ROMs. So I don't have any idea in these themes, but I want to know if there is a solution for my problem: it always turns off, maybe not being used or maybe chatting for example. And now I upgraded to 15.1 to see if there was a solution for that. Now I have 2 problems: shutting off and now the bluetooth is so unstable. I received a Miband 3 two days ago and it was OK with 14.1, now the bluetooth is making problems. Any solution?
Edit: Also I don't see notifications of Whatsapp or Telegram for example until I open the apps.
I got my Galaxy S10+ 3 weeks ago. I've owned different LG phones and now moved to Samsung.
The frustration I've had with the phone is that every time I restart or shut off and start I lose all my Bluetooth entries.
I also see Google maps getting stuck in bring up a route. It keeps spinning to find a route.
What usually resolves the Maps issue is a restart.
Anyone seeing issues like these? I love the phone but things like these shouldn't be happening.
Thanks
No issues like that on my phone, I have 4 devices paired to my phone and they remain saved even after reboots. No issues with Google Maps either. I use it daily.

Reset all your settings ( general, network, and accessibility).
If that doesn't work do a factory reset.
If that doesn't work exchange your phone for a replacement.

Yeah everything works good on mines beside the camera led. Battery life has been ok honestly think I got more out of my s9 plus. Overall the hype is there but disappointed at the same time.

So I did a network, general and accessibility reset but no luck.
On Sunday I did a factory reset but I still have the two issues. One with maps and the other with Bluetooth.
The last thing I did last night was clear cache thru the boot loader. Per recommendation on Samsung forums, from a moderator.
Today I must have restarted the phone a half a dozen times. It never dropped the connected BT devices.
Maps is still an issue though.
I was in the car in the morning and tried to navigate to an address. It never loaded and eventually failed with the message saying "Can't connect to Maps. Try again in a few minutes."
While home if I turn WiFi off and try to navigate to an address maps just keep spinning and saying "Loading traffic data...". The moment I turn WiFi back on the navigation with traffic status comes up right away.
Could there be some setting that's messing things up when connected only to the carrier? I'm with AT&T.
I say setting because my wife has a S8+ and doesn't experience any of the issues I am with my S10+ !
Thanks guys! I love the phone but these are not acceptable issues on a $1000 smartphone.
Issue fixed
So I really had two issues.
One was with the Bluetooth forgetting devices when restarting or doing a power cycle.
The other was with Maps. It wouldn't bring up navigation directions when on the carrier network.
Sometimes a restart would make it work but would fail again.
Stopped by AT&T today and swapped the SIM card.
Both problems fixed!
Hey guys,
So lately my watch has been rebooting randomly.
The watch is Fossil Gen 6 with Wear OS 3.
Sometimes it just goes black and i need to force reboot it.
I was getting boot issues sometimes as well, it's stuck on the Google spinning animation with the times.
I tried to factory reset my watch from the watch it self and recovery and nothing helps.

Hey yot2703,
Did you have any success finding a solution. I'm having exactly the same issue with my Fossil Gen 6 with Wear OS 3. Rebooting randomly. Screen blacking out and becoming unresponsive. Was working fine for a couple of weeks with Wear OS 3 and was fine with Wear OS 2. My son has the same watch updated to Wear OS 3 and hasn't had any problems.

So...
I tried a few methods that could lead to a solution, but the issue could come back again.
The methods I tried:
1. Factory reset few times from Recovery - No success.
2. Emptying the battery to 0% and keep the watch down for a few days and then charging it to 100% - Worked for a week after another reset, then the issue persisted again and it got lot worse. My watch won't boot at all.
My brother owns Gen 6 as well with Wear OS 3 and he has no issues at all.
I talked to Fossil support and they told me to send it back to them for replacement since the issue coming from the hardware.
I haven't sent it back to Fossil in the US since i don't want to pay huge shipping fee, but the Warranty is global so talked to my local warranty provider and they took it for inspection and they might replace my watch.
i'd say talk to your local Fossil store or the one who provides warranty in your location.
P.S. - I saw people on Reddit that sometimes it does the same reboots on WearOS 2 as well.

Thanks for your reply. I'm in Ottawa Canada and there is no local warranty provider. You send it to a location in Toronto and they in turn ship it to Dallas to fix or warranty it. One of my son's watches buttons stopped working and I've sent it in. Expected to take 5 weeks. Disappointing customer service in my book. I'll see how that goes before deciding what to do with mine. May just cut my losses and move on.

Problem is i like this watch overall, i really want it to work.
You probably have local Fossil support.
Try to mail : [email protected]
Thanks. I will email them...and I agree with you...I was quite satisfied with it prior to these issues.
just fyi...the email they use is [email protected]
did anyone get this working in the end?
I contacted Fossil at [email protected]. They recommended draining the battery completely then recharging to 100% a few times. This did get rid of the random rebooting and it was fine for a few weeks but now the battery is draining very quickly. I'm going to contact them again and expect I will need to replace the battery.
