hi guys i have refurbish lg g2 d802 last night i connect it with pc suit whee it shows there is an update available every thing gone well but in the end when phone starts touch is not working properly there was no touch issue before this update please help me guys i am really worried and i have no other phone for backup
Try to return back to 4.4 or 4.2 using KDZ or TOT methods Guide.

Hi I have LG G2 D802 . My problem is that my phone hangs a lot . I did hard reset but problem didnt go. After hard reset i tried to install custom built rom but still same problem. Then I re installed lolipop 5.0.2 still the same problem .. now
i have downgraded to kitkat and again same problem .. Even now when it hangs It turn off completely like it got bricked or something but it work some time and again after some use it hang.. now i have hardreset my device and putted on standby mood but phone was working fine after some use phone hanged again . I dont understand what is the problem with my LG G2

I hope you can help me, After trying to install the official LG G2 ROM 5.0 bassed on the korean model (with twrp) I had a hard brick.
Had quite a hard time trying to get my phone back to life, finally was able to go back to stock with lg flash tool. I downloaded the TOT file for EUR INT.
Kernel: 3.4.0
Compilation: JDQ39B
Software: D80210b-214-07
Now the phone is working perfect but I´m back to 4.2.2 which sucks as I was trying to get to 5.01 :cyclops:
I can´t update with LG PC suit as it won´t recognise my phone, and the update sofware app in the phone says I have the latest software available....
I´ve been checking and it turns out that the correct orignial software for my phone was the version D802 V20B.
Can it be that the reason that I can´t update the software from LG, or is not possible to do this after flashing a custom rom and back to "stock"??

Are you expecting to get an OTA update to LP? Lollipop hasn't even been released yet for the International variant.
If you're trying to get back to KK just use a site like LG Firmware ROM to download a KDZ file based on your IMEI and flash it with the LG Flash Tool. If you have a D802 you don't need to bother with using TOT files. Using the site I mentioned should download you the latest KK released for your phone.
Note: Just wait a few months for Lollipop, honestly.

Once Lollipop is released officially then yes, you will be able to update to it via the suite or over the air.
I'm not quite sure of the context of your other 2nd question.

Try Normal Flash first to keep your data. Sometimes Normal Flash will constantly fail. In that case, do a Full Wipe/Fresh Install (CSE).
NOTE: BACKUP YOUR DATA/PICTURES/MUSIC BEFORE DOING ANYTHING, IN THE CASE SOMETHING GOES WRONG.

I was trying to update my LG G2 to Lollipop using German official release available since yesterday. The problem I'm having is that the firmware update mode goes to x % then I can see red text "Assert" in the second line and then phone restarts and shows 0% and doing nothing. LGFlashTool2014 is showing message that something went wrong (or similar) and I can try again. It's happening all the time - over and over - sometimes it's 30%, sometimes 60%. I was trying to back to KitKat using LG Mobile Support Tool - same situation. When I'm trying to restart my phone, it's restarting to download mode all the time :/

Ok, after about 4 hours I fixed it using TOT method (version D80210b for Europe). So if there's a problem with KDZ method, maybe anyone knows when - or if - it will be Lollipop version for TOT method?

So - after I bring my G2 to life using TOT method and older KitKat I thought I could try with Lollipop again. And now it works! Good morning to Lollipop! So I hope it might be helpful for others with similar problems
What I did exactly?
1. Trying to install Lollipop using KDZ method and something was going wrong all the time - keep restarting to download mode.
2. Performed hard reset.
3. Fixed problems by installing downgrade using TOT method.
4. Installed Lollipop using same file I was trying to use before and I chose Normal Flash method.
5. Good morning to Lollipop!

I used LGD802AT-V10b-EUR-XX-SEP-07-2013-16G.exe (sorry, can't add links because I don't have 10+ posts ) For Lollipop I used KDZ method with official LG G2 image for Germany 16GB version

i have a refubished d801 from tmo buyed in store as "new 2 u"
phone do not upgrade ota, it download the update but when you are
ready install you see the normal reboot procedure, the lg logo then
you see the android icon with the moving tummy thingy ,
progress bar is moving normal but. at around 40% it jumps to 100%
and reboot
tried several times and same thing
so phone is not upgrading
i rooted with ioroot
and was able to flash a kdz from the g2 section with the lg tool
and i downgraded to d80120e
phone worksok, but still same thing to upgrade ota
cannot enter in to normal recovery ..cant install twrp
is the bootloader corrupted.?
whT i need to do to fix this issue...or i got a lemon

First of all. teh phone its refurbished right.?
most refurbished phones arent what they claim.. if phone says example. d802 international.. but motherboard says example ls980. then you dont have a d802 ,but a ls980.
so am not really sure if indeed is a tru d801. cause i dont know you already kdx the phone. and say it works but cant update.
i would do this .. open phone and check MOTHERBOARD only. if motherborad says d801 then you have d801. if its another variant then you must install that variant kdz.

I bought a LG G2 two days before .... It worked very well , there was no problem at all. Today I just heard of the lollipop update . I tried to install it with Lg pc suite.
It updated without any problem. When the phone finished the boot . And I was asked to choose the settings . I touched the screen and it was horrible ... Touch was working very badly . The screen was not responding to me at all .
Guys I just cannot throw it . I only have this phone . And my Dad's never gonna let me have a new phone.
Plz Plz PLz help me

It seems you may have a frankenphone. meaning it was refurbished. many have install roms and touch wont respond. so you say is a d802 there could be a possibility that it isnt a true d802. maybe another model thats why you have rouch problem.

once you know your model you need to flash correct rom. and need to go back to stock.

no if motherborad says ls980 then the rom you had was faked and masked as a d802 they just changed the letters, using other variant bricks phone and or have touch problems. you must use ls980 roms.. not sure about ls980.
