hi everyone newbie here please go easy haha .. got my lgg2 a couple weeks ago and managed to root it last night , still reading up on the best way to install a recovery .. is freegee the way to go ? im in the uk and its locked to the 3 network .. software version .. D80210b-234-20 .. build number JDQ39B ...i understand that i should only flash roms from the 802 section on xda but is there anything else i need to know ? is the 10b part important ?? as ive seen 10a 10f etc ... is there a idiot proof guide to flashing roms on here anybody can point me to ?? .. again apologies for my thickness i have read alot on here but all the different variants of this phone is confusing me .. thanks

I have Issue and i hope you help me to solve it ..
My phone is LG g2 D802
i had Kit Kat rom and i want to upgrade it to Lolipop .. So i download lolipop custum rom and i install it , then black screen apear to me .. fastboat issue .. Because i think i made mistake with thr rom that i installed it.. then i solve Fastboot issue and also partition issue . And I used Lg Tools To download D802 Stock rom And the attached screen appear to me and i tray to inter recovry mode to format the phon and i coldn't i tray to install another rom and still the same issue .. After that I take the phone For maintenance company ,, and they said your phone need to change the whole Motherboard And this will Cost me ALOT .. Because of that i came to this amazing fourm hoping you guys to help me to solve this issue
P.S please forgive me for bad english ..

bought d802 ..... main board says 'D801-MAIN'
CAN FLASH both hongkong D802 and Tmobile - 801 with success but no use ....IT gets stuck at LG welcome screen (select language) with nothing working (No buttons or touch screen . pic attached)
ever faced such problem .?? any solution

Wrong section, this really doesn't need a thread but okay.
You need to be more clear about what you want to flash, stock, CM, lollipop, etc...and why are you switching between D801 and D802? It's one or the other mate.

i think you didnt get what i said . My phone was flashed with wrong firmware and is in bricked condition . my phone had D802 earlier , but now i cant find a firmware t o flash as none of firmware i tried is working . MAin board of my phone says its 801 though ...i can flash both 801 n 802 roms without error but nothing goes past LG welcome screen

When you say you looked at your mainboard did you actually open the assembly or just lift the rear cover?

I guess it should be first , as it is written on the back of the assembly, isn't it?

I recently had similar issue with D800, but finally solved it. You need to flash tot file, I guess you have tried kdz before. See following thread for details http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476

How did you confirm your phone model?
By seeing Motherboard or Just on the Black Plastic? Which method you tried? KDZ or Tot?

It already have custom rom i think
Details:
LG f320s korean variant i think
Android versio 4.4.2
Kernel version 3.4.102
Build number KOT49
Software version CCloudyG2 2.2
My question are:
1. Do i have a good rom and kernel? Or di I need to flash another
I beleive i have twrp already and rooted already..
2. How can i make nba2k15 run properly it runs smoothly but randomly
Crashes every now and then it just closes without any error..
Any solution to fix this? Help please..

well never been on KK but why not try it if you dont like it then just go back.

my G2 IS original i bought it from lg three days ago with 1 year warrenty
so i can upgrade to lp if its not good i can downgrade to kk without bricking my device thank you

yes you can it even restarts flash counter so i read.. so it wipes everything when use TOT method or KDZ for KK.
am pretty sure ive read it leves no traces fi you need to return for warranty.
One thing i realised about my G2 it that stock firmwares suck, i suggest you to get a costum rom
