Does xposed work for lollipop now? I have read somewhere that it does not work for lollipop. Has it been fixed/upgraded?
Thankyou.

Hey guys I would like to root but I can't get my work email if I do. I know there used to be work arounds for Good, but I think many of them have been patched and no longer work. Are any of you rooted and running Good?

No. I ran into the same problem and just gave up on it. Good thing my Good client is on a work phone and not my personal

I am systemless rooted and able to open the app, but I get stuck when I get to "Enter Email Address" and "PIN."
Don't know if this helps.

Hi Celsian, the email address & PIN are part of the initial setup process. It will check for root after this stage, so unfortunately this doesn't help. Really appreciate the reply and the effort though! [emoji4]

Systemless root is better than traditional Root in many ways. Not having to modify system partition and flashing SuperSU on the kernel is awesome. It's an evolved version of the traditional way
Yes- I have systemless root.

Working old version of GFE with root
I hate Good for Enterprise. It's awful.
But I have to use it.
I'm rooted. Now on a 6P, formerly on a nexus 5. Of you download an old version of GFR, 2.7.1 it works with root and custom ROMs and Xposed.
Just don't ever, ever let it update.
It's just as crappy as e current version and a battery killer, but it works.

Thanks for the reply. How did you get access to the older version?

I don't recall exactly where I found it, but it's out there
Look for 2.7.1 apk xposed and it should turn up in a Google search. I'll check to see if I can locate the download.
I found a workaround. I still have my Nexus 5, which I flashed back to stock. I installed Good on it and then just tether it to my now rooted 6p

What happens if I root my device running stock ROM and then I update with OTA update? Do I lose root? Does it applies to Xposed and its modules?
Which device?

Just enrolled my nexus into the nougat beta program, but my question is probably a stupid one. I'm going to assume that in order for me to get the nougat update that I have to be on a stock or close to stock ROM ? Currently I'm on the latest resurrection ROM with MTC20F vendor IMG.
I apologize for my stupidity...

You need to be stock to install OTA updates

Install TWRP and then get a new kenel for your device and Android version. Most community kernels work better Googles

Unfortunately I don't have the device yay have I have the older generation. But paranoid android 5.1.1 and Franco's kernel, those give a nice lollipop experience or you can go paranoid with 6.0 but I don't know if Franco updated his kernel for your device.
