There was a nice apk that disabled native tethering provisions for unlimited data users on MJE but I can't find one for NC2.
What is everyone doing now if you're on the stock kitkat rom?

If you use the Xposed Framework you could try the Wanam module, it has an option to disable it. All of the available ROMs have it disabled also.

Unfortunately the xposed framework + wanam module is not working for me. I guess I have no choice but to use HyperX even though I really just wanted stock.

I know that we can't use xposed on samsung devices, thre's a similar app with another name, does anyone here remember it?
Hi al i have a question. Is there a stock note 3 that is detoxed or odexed. Sorry if i am saying it wrong.
What i mean i want xposed on my note 3.
I had it on different 5.1 roms.
But apps that i use were not working right. So i hope there is a 5.0 rom were xposed works on
Thanks advance

AryaMod 8.3 + Xposed by Arter97 v75
Hello all I'm on Lollipop now and I'm rooted. Should I upgrade to 6.0.1? Are there root methods for marshmallow?
Will the xposedd module work? Because I need to download the module that enables private mode and shealth

Yeah why not .? 6.0 much better than 5.0
You should try new features

Yes the most recent cf-autoroot works fine. TWRP also installs fine. Battery life will be appreciably better due to doze mode. I don't think it will be a problem.

well, if you already rooted, then you can try some stock-base custom ROM.
Just now, I flashed 6.0.1 stock ROM via ODIN.
Now Note 4 has screen off memo! Yay!
CF Auto root works so fine with 910H 6.0.1, so I think I'll stay with stock ROM for a moment.
Everything thing is working fine just try

Cool ?
Just one more thing im using ios emojis with modded google keyboard apk, will this be an issue on marshmallow? Cause i heard that marshmallow is more strict

If you are set up the way you like, then why change? I'm on 4.4.4 with a dark theme, lots of xposed modules, custom fonts, greenify root (which means I don't need doze) , and security via appopsxposed. I don't think marshmallow really offers me anything. Have MM on my nexus devices and prefer 4.4.4 still on the Note.

I dont have it. But I think I saw it somewhere in xda. Try to use google.
Or if you have plenty of internet bandwidth, you can download samfirm (from xda too) to download a stock firmware directly from samsung. And flash it with odin.

Hold if you can. Horrible battery drain on Canadian update (rogers). If you read a bit, all releases are experiencing this. And the culprit is Android System that is using max battery.
No fix reported for this yet.
My phone battery has dropped from full day plus to barely half day at 21% remaining.

You can try doing a nandroid backup first, but I doubt it will work. I deodexed my rom and then flashed this xposed (I'm on stock touchwiz 5.0) http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3113463 It works perfect, you just need to deodex your rom (you won't loose any data)

Should run absolutely fine. I used the v75 for snapdragon from the same thread that fanfzero has kindly linked for you and flashed using flashfire by chainfire. No issues so far with any xposed modules.

You need to root then set your SElinux to "permissive". Deodex is a must. Deodex is the formatting option when compiling a ROM. I think..

Nope, go look up xposed for Samsung lollipop, should be thread by arter97, then search for a post by ddclark, he has a version that works for odexed and deodexed, nothing extra needed.
Just to clarify for learning purposes(I've been in the position as well), odex files are just secondary container files for code and images whatnot, these are usually system apks. Deodexing is taking those files and putting them all in the apk, this is mostly helpful for themeing cause you only have to screw with one file, there's other reasons to as well, that's a big one though. A good analogy would be, if an app is a house and all the code and graphics are in the garage, the odex file is a shed in the backyard.
