Best TW based ROM is AryaMod. Toy can select what Samsung apps to intall in Aroma while flashing the ROM.
And if you want to remove more bloats, there's an old thread in General forum which gives list of apps that can be removed (freezed).

SM 900 : Just rooted : now what?

First of all, I don't want to install any custom rom right now. If kit kat comes I may change my mind.
But till then I am enjoying ad free phone by installing adaway.
Installed Xposed and Wanam from there.. Lots of UI customisation.
Multi window from xperiacle a must have and fit for note 3.
What you guys will do/suggest. Safely delete some unnecessary bloats, and many other things.
Please share.
Thanks

I suggest titanium backup, and freeze the apps that you dont need rather than deleting them.
Next step u need to do automation marvels on tasker

I always install titanium backup and of course a complete backup using cwm before i proceed in installing other apps after rooting.

AOSP kitkat 4.4.2 to TW 4.3 rom question

I'm reading a lot of stuff about bootloaders and so on, and non-working wifi when going to TW 4.3 rom.
I'm now on an AOSP 4.4.2 kitkat rom. Say I'd like to try a sammy 4.3 rom, can I just flash the rom via CWM or do I need to do other steps before that ?
No flashing through cwm will work just fine. If any problems you can install a custom kernel I've been seeing a lot about devil kernel for 4.3

Be careful if you don't want to have Knox bootloader, and apps installed.
Some of the custom ROMs are already Knox free, so, depending on your Note II version you might only have to install a custom kernel (to have Wi-Fi like my case).
I have a N2 LTE (7105, t0lte) version, and I have now Ditto Note 3 (with Note 3 applications - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2541860), and it can be installed in almost all N2 versions. I just have to follow your N2 version instructions.
Best regards

Bloatware removal script for AT&T G2?

I saw in the AT&T Development section there was a rooted stock 4.4.2 with bloatware removed but that build has no working downloads... I installed the stock rooted 4.4.2 and was curious if there was a flashable file that would remove the bloat from the phone? I know how to use a system app removal app but sometimes it's a bit dificult to go through the list and find everything.

ready to flash ROM....Few questions

Samsung Galaxy Note 3
SM-N900V
4.4.2 NC4
TowelRoot SafeStrap complete
I'm mostly looking for a rom that will remove ALL bloatware and is safe as a daily.
I guess just the most basic
Installl rom tool box pro and just delete the bloartware

thanks but would kinda like a rom but just confused on which ones I can and cant flash
If you prefer a stock look I would use: BeansTown106's Stock deodex ROM
If you want a bunch of extra tweak just pick one of the following whichever you prefer the looks of, they are all pretty similar other than looks.
AllianceROM
Hyperdrive
Got BigginsROM
Or if you want a S5 style ROM go with JasmineROM
Any of them will work on NC4.
I have tried them all and still haven't settled on which I like best cause they are all pretty close other than I didn't like some of the S5 changes of Jasmine strictly due to personal preference it is a solid ROM though.

Don't forget if you run anything other than Jasmin 1.9 or 2.3.2 you will have to odin the NC2 kernel. The Jasmin stuff will work with a straight flash. E-A-G-L-E-S.....EAG LE S!!!!

Late to the lollipop party

Long time lurker... here goes my first post, be gentle!
I bought my s5 and rooted it a long time ago but I haven't kept up it up to date. I'm still on 4.4.2 and I think it is finally time to try 5.0
Since I'm so out of date, I want to make sure I update my phone without bricking it or losing xposed framework.
My current device's system info:
Andriod Version: 4.4.2
Build: ANCG
Kernal: 3.4.0-964333
Bootloader: G900VVRU1ANCG
Rooted
Stock ROM
Safestrap NOT installed
Xposed framework installed with these modules:
Greenify
Xprivacy
Wanam Xposed
Downloads 2SD
With such an out of date phone, is it safe to just follow the instructions in this thread? http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...w-to-update-to-g900voe1-5-0-keeproot-t3149784
Are there any known issues on Lollipop with xposed or any of the modules I use?
I think lollipop allows apps to access the SD card again, so I won't need the downloads 2SD module anymore, right?
I have read mixed reports of Xprivacy working on 5.0, if there is anyone using it on the Verizon S5, how's it working for you?
Thanks!

If you decide to go to lollipop any thing over bod5 cannot be rooted there are some decent roms that are flashable
roms via safestrap.

But why is rooted bod5 lollipop bad? Besides not being able to upgrade to newer versions of lollipop, did you have a bad experience with bod5?
I'm ok with not being able to upgrade further. I stayed with 4.4.2 for a long time, I have no problem staying on bod5 for awhile.. Unless there are other good reasons why lollipop Itself is not worth upgrading to.

Bog5 is the latest now I guess it was to fix stage fright but you could choose the one to your liking not much development for bod5 anymore.

You can install rooted OG5 roms. I'm running a stock deodexed OG5 build (rooted) and it's pretty smooth.
With such an out of date phone, is it safe to just follow the instructions in this thread? http://forum.xda-developers.com/veri...proot-t3149784
If you want xposed on OG5, no. It needs a deodexed rom and that OG5 is odexed. You can use this one if you want xposed on OG5: http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-s5/development/vzwstock-based-tw-rom-t3178953
Are there any known issues on Lollipop with xposed or any of the modules I use?
Xposed runs but it needs a special version (just do a google search for samsung xposed lollipop). Whenever I run greenify on xposed it causes bootloops for me, but I think it might work fine for some people. Wanam xposed has a special version for lollipop so make sure to switch to that.
I think lollipop allows apps to access the SD card again, so I won't need the downloads 2SD module anymore, right?
I don't think you need it, but when you install check to see if it works. You can always downgrade.
I have read mixed reports of Xprivacy working on 5.0, if there is anyone using it on the Verizon S5, how's it working for you?
It worked for me when I ran it a few months ago, but if the reports are mixed take my success with a grain of salt.

Thank you for actually answering my questions!!
I will attempt OG5 using a deodexed version so I can install the samsung lollipop xposed. Hope I don't screw it up :-/ I've rooted and played around with a few phones before with no problems, but the last time I messed with a phone was over a year ago so I'm pretty rusty.
cheers!
edit: To use the deodexed version of OG5, did you use the muniz_ri method with FireFlash and just replace the muniz_ri ROM with the deodexed ROM? Or did you follow the instructions in this thread? Or something completly different?
Btw I'm still on 4.4.2 NCG but I have installed SS
Since you are at NCG already I think you can start with rooted odex stock. You should flash muniz_ri rooted odex stock with flashfire, it ll full wipe for default also. After that you 100% can flash any G900V lollipop rom you want with flashfire or safestrap, I choosed FF for myself. I am not sure, maybe you can flash deodex right away, but after some lurked and questions I personally did as described in first sentence. Don't forget to do backup, samsung for example. I was in your position not so much time ago.
i second that lollipop is terrible. go to 4.4.4 and stay. look in page 2 or 3 of android development for ricks rom and flash that, its the best kitkat rom and it just work way better than 5.0
