6P Warranty Info - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I travel a lot and have had bad experiences with phones breaking while being abroad on an extended stay (I live in the US BTW).
I wanted to know what the warranty policy for the 6P is, and if it has an international warranty.
I've tried looking online but couldn't come up with anything and even Huawei support isn't helpful.
Any information regarding this would be great. Thank you!

Buying this device guidelines (US)?

Hey guys. Let me first start off saying I hope I'm in the right section here. This seems more plausible than the Q&A to me for some reason.
I was just seeking some information (for me and all other US potential buyers) on how/which/where/what to get this device? If anyone could just even attempt to answer one question, I would GREATLY appreciate it. My questions are not simple "do you like dis device?!", rather, they pertain to development:
1) Is there a difference between the International version and the 'US' version (if there are different versions)? I will not be buying this device on carrier contract and was wondering, when I buy it online, should I be aware of different versions with different radios, etc... I will be using this device with a microSIM on T-Mo USA HSPA+.
2) What are the odds of achieving S-Off? I understand HTC is offering a 'dev' edition but does NOT offer S-Off. Kind of a stab in the back for 'devs' if you ask me. I know this is SUPER early in development to even wonder, just throwing it out there wondering how well developers may support this device in the future. My main purpose of buying a new device is for a strong future in development (both stock updates and 3rd party support) in the long run.
3) Where/when/how/what? If that didn't make Sense?!?!: I noticed the 'dev' edition will be priced at 6hundred something USD (article linked above) and was wondering if this would be cheaper/more expensive than the regular unlocked man? I hope they don't retail this bad boy ridiculously expensive like Sammy over there with the new Cosmo 14 or whatever that device is.
Thank you so much guys! Any help would be super appreciated as mentioned before. Peace Please don't ripe me a new one if this thread is out of place!

Desperately need this for Nexus 7

Hello everyone. I must apologize if this thread does not belong her. I just desperately need help. I have posted a similar thread in another category but I think it didn't get much attention so I'll repost it here.
"I have ran out of options and finally decided to take this step, not really sure if it will work but still hoping though that it will. I have come here to ask for help from developers and people with great knowledge in these things. Here is my situation. My friend bought a gmate+ device abroad as a gift for me here in Philippines and unfortunately, this device can only be used in the country it was bought in. After reading things in the manufacturer's site and contacting them (they have a very not-so-satisfying customer service, sorry to mention this), it seems that there really is no cure for my case unless I have it ship back and ask for refund then buy a new one here instead, which is also almost impossible because I do not have the receipt(the item was just given to me without any receipt) and I do not know exactly from which store my friend purchase it(and according to him, he is also unsure from which store exactly because he went shopping for things as gifts not in just a single store or place). So to make the story short, I now have a useless piece of device which could have been really great for my Nexus 7 if only it works. The gmate+ is a device sold by the company Skyroam. This is a bluetooth device which allows an Android or iOS running gadget to have the ability to use GSM service through it via bluetooth pairing and software. I do not know if it is really hard, but I'm thinking ( actually hoping and praying ) that maybe somebody here could do something about my case, perhaps build a workaround via a software/app. I would really appreciate it if anybody would take time to work on this project. Additional info which may help, if anybody's interested, I'm running the stock update Android 4.3 for the Nexus 7 2012 (now rooted via wugfresh's toolkit).
Thanks and more power! "

Do not buy International if you use ATT LTE!

It was very difficult to find a concrete 'yes' or 'no' answer on the various threads here (a lot of discussion of bands and such which may be insanely intimidating to a new user / member). So, from what I've discovered from use and forums, and please correct me if I'm wrong, is that if you are use the 4G LTE network in America you will not be able to connect and use the enhanced speeds on the G900F model. Instead, you'll be stuck with 3G (if you're lucky) and 2G speeds.
Like I said, if anyone knows otherwise and if so can correct me in a very direct (and respectful) way so as to not intimidate new users (like my self) please do so. Especially since I'll be selling my G900F shortly. I truly do thank the Flying Spaghetti Monster that I kept my G900A version just in-case I found any problems with the international version.

You could have Googled this info within 10 minutes like here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2709458, instead you layed back to wait for others to answer your question This is not the XDA way mate!

Thank you gee2012 for feeling the need to be insulting instead of adding anything productive. Because I am a new user to the Android OS, mentioned that I scanned through the forums here and did not find a clear and concise answer to my very direct question, and found conflicting information through google searches as well as threads here I thought I could possibly help out other new users who may have the same question and feel a bit daunted by the sheer wealth of technical information here. I thought helping each other out, especially those brand new to the OS, was the XDA way. Not responding with a purely negative message to someone trying to be helpful.

I`am not insulting or dissing anyone mate but you only had to compare for instance the G900F supported LTE bands with the used ATT bands on Google and you`re question would have been answered.

No disrespect meant and I apologize for not being specific in my response to you. When I say conflicting information it was based on a google search for what I felt was a basic question, "Does the S5 G900F support the ATT 4G LTE network?" That query led to websites with conflicting information (a few said it did, a few said it didn't, and a few more said 'maybe'). When I came across more information via these forums and more google searching there was no clear and distinct answer that was readily found. What was found, like you referred to, was information on base bands. Because I was new not only to the Android OS but the complexities of phones outside of the walled garden that is iOS I investigated what a base band was. From here I continued my search into the ATT bands and compared them to the S5 G900F model to see if they were compatible. Once figuring out that they were not I had answered my own question. After realizing that there are others out there who either don't have the knowledge, access to, or time I thought I'd share my 'discovery' (and yes, I realize it was not really one) with others.
So yes, you were insulting when you said I "'layed [laid] back to wait for others to answer your question" as I didn't. You assumed from my simple and brief post that I had not taken the time to do any actual searching and was lazily waiting for someone to answer my question. It was an incorrect inference which led to a seemingly sarcastic response (and associated ) which while it won't dissuade me from posting or asking questions does not, IMO, represent the helpful community aspect of XDA.
With that said I see you are a Recognized Contributor, so thank you for the information you've contributed to others throughout XDA.
I am noting more than you are. Just trying to help others by reading and trying to figure out how things work.

Is there hope? Sure, as much as there was before... ZTE doesn't seem to be interested in helping any development on any device but the Axon flagship.
I have now emailed the (woefully inadequate) customer services department over 40 times in a hope that they are even reading their emails properly to see if we're getting the Android Nougat Update for the Axon 7 Mini in the UK. Alll I get is the same crappy canned and preprepared rubbish. I think this is so poor, I can foresee the company will be demolished next year if they don't sort out these updates and actually listen to their customers. I'm so sick and tired of this. ZTE....no future custom from me I'm afraid....last device I ever buy from you. You have officially **** the bed with me....it's a shame cuz the device as a whole is pretty good....I just can't give my hard earned cash to a company with this poor level of customer interaction and I now doubt the validity of the warranty you get with the devices. If mine breaks down....I wouldn't risk sending it in for repair as I don't think I'd get it back.... sorry ZTE...I shall be telling people not to get your stuff in the future.....you have officially pissed me off royally....

Where can i download the official Axon 7 mini B2017G nougat?
Not sure if they are reading their emails, but someone from ZTE seems interested in our feedback. They posted this survey over on their own forum:
I asked for an unlocked bootloader on the last question. It is worth a try.

maybe someone else with a more established account can post a working link.

Android Update for Samsung Tab E T377A

I hope I am doing this right. I may be asking a question that has already been asked. I looked through all of the previous posted forums and was not able to find the answers that I need. They may have been available but I just didn't understand them as such. I am just now getting into this so I am not very tech savy lol. I am sorry and ask if you could just please bear with me. I bought an AT&T samsung tab e t377a at a pawn shop ( probably not a good idea). But all I intended to use it for was on my home wifi. A couple of years ago I went through a terrible experience due to a stalker that had had personal access to my home network. Ever since then I have became extremely security conscious with my devices. From what I understand this tablet has several security vulnerabilities due to the fact that it's not getting the security patches that it needs because it is no longer receiving updates. Right now this is where it stands...
Android version.... 6.0.1
Baseband version.... T377AUCU2APJ2
Build number.... MMB29K.T377AUCU2APJ2
Android security patch level.... October 1, 2016
From what I understand I need android 7. I became interested in rooting this tablet but it looks like there hasn't been a method developed yet that I am comfortable with. Everywhere else that I have pursued answers from has suggested that I may have to purchase a service plan from AT&T in order to get on to their servers before I can get the update to secure this device. Thats bullcrap! I would think that Samsung would provide better allocations. I may be way out of line but I know personally how much the security of these devices matter. Is there any other way for me to obtain the update?? I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks!

If I went about this wrong or inappropriately I do apologize. I did search this site prior to posting for the answers I needed to prevent posting a repeated question but as far as my understanding goes...I couldn't find any. If I posted this in the wrong forum could someone please tell me where I need to post it? I have really researched the sources available involved with technology. This site seems to be the most reliable regarding androids. But due to what all I went through I feel that we may have almost took the advancement of technology too far beyond our own limits. I think offensive security and becoming educated as much as possible about all of your devices is the only true security that you can obtain. If anyone has any advice on how I could update my tablet without going through AT&T or could tell me where else I could look I would greatly appreciate it. Thank yall!
Also...if I am incorrect about my device and what I am needing please let me know.
