Hi,
This questions should be for this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/one...m-unofficial-cyanogenmod-12-1-t3185511/page46 but I'm not able to post there.
So question is...
Will the Cyanogen build at some point include the double tap to wake up option?
Thanks,
JMS
Its already supported in most cm based ports for the OPT

And that makes sense.
I tried this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/orig-development/rom-unofficial-cyanogenmod-12-1-t3185511
I'm able to find O, V, < and > but not the double-tap. Is it configured in a different section? Do you know?

I just flashed SlimBeans 4.2.1 Beta 2 and didn't see a post about this, but just read through the Android documents and found what I was looking for and thought I would share here.
I saw a post in the Developer section about someone saying they couldn't find the Developer Options.
Apparently, in JB4.2.1, Google decided to "hide" the developer options. Here is what they posted:
On devices running Android 4.2, developer options are hidden by default, helping to create a better experience for users. You can reveal the developer options at any time by tapping 7 times on Settings > About phone > Build number on any compatible Android device.

I looked for this for a few days because I wanted to change the transition speed and finally found it!
PS: Delete this if it's a repeat.

Not really a repost, but it's plastered everywhere on the internet. Most people do it wrong and click on the version number, which brings the flying jellybean minigame.
Hi all, this may seem like a simple question, but what is the terminal line i must enter to start "Fast charge." I am using Faux 123's custom kernel.
I've searched, but it seems buried. Thanks in advance.
This is for another device, so no guarantees. However, it's worth a try. I would check and see if the files/folder exist before running the commands.
You can enable fast charge at any time by typing this in a terminal :
echo 1 > /sys/kernel/fast_charge/force_fast_charge
To disable at any time, type :
echo 0 > /sys/kernel/fast_charge/force_fast_charge

Greetings xda,
I just got a new Q from eBay and after I have read the last Q related posts in this forum I still have few questions so...
Is there any way to use it with the stock ROM now that the q app is broken? If yes how to configure, connect to WiFi & enable debugging?
If no are there any Roms apart of cyanogens? Which one is the best? Do custom Roms ulitize its rgb LEDs?
Thank you very much in advance.
49 viewers and no one can answer ?

follow the guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2408799 i made in here you cant miss it. Also you can use the nexus project rom that the dev talked about at the end of he post. Which is better imho than the other due to it being dual boot.

Ive read the forum before i ask and i saw your guide. I have asked if its possible to use my Q as it is. I dont want to root or install any rom IF i can just make it connect to wifi & turn debugging on.
I have the moo x rooted and using xposed as well, my question is, could I follow other instructions over the internet about how to get it or are they specific for this device?
Sorry for bad english , and thanks :good:!

You can follow other guides. I tried it once. It's pretty simple. There is a build.prop edit (I think it's setting ro.build.type to userdebug) and then enabling multi window in developer options.

It seemed stable enough but it's not very user friendly. It took a little while to figure out the controls. It's not very straightforward and a little confusing. There's no X or anything at the top of the window to close it which is weird and you can't swipe it away either. It has to been done in the task manager. And then I kept getting spammed in the notification bar by Motorola for feedback on Attentive display, which I was using by the way. If you're not using it you shouldn't have that problem and I think that's from making the build user debug. But it is experimental so I would expect some bugs or they would have put it the final version.
Recently, Cyanogenmod got the feature for fingerprint scanners on the Samsung Galaxy S5. I updated my phone to the latest version and whenever I try to use my fingerprint scanner it allows me to save one but it gives me a "not recognized" message whenever used on the lockscreen. I've tried re-installing the ROM and even flashing Mokee ROM and it gives me the same message so I need some help.
before asking for help, read the forum rules and after that try too post in the right section with your question

I don't really use xda so I'm not really sure where to post this. Where would I post my question. (thanks for the reply btw)
For any questions you should post on the Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting section. As @ad0dh67 said, before asking first read the rules and do a search about the topic you are trying to find out about first. There is one post on the General Section posted by the developer that got the fingerprint working. http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/general/fingerprint-opensource-romcm-mokee-t3315196 He basically states there that there are some devices in which fingerprint doesnt work yet at least for cm, If I recall correctly the G900T(T-Mobile) is one of them. I have one myself and it doesnt work for me either so we just have to wait and see what happens or you can install his rom and see if it works there.

Maybe an obvious question, but do you swipe your finger over the scanner or just place it on it?
