I've got a Blu Studio C running on Android 5.0 for a month or so and I'm very pleased with it, the only problem is I can't get access to a 3G network.
Network mode on phone is 2G/3G/4G (auto). SIM is in the GSM/WCDMA slot.
It only connects to the 2G network which is very slow. I tried the SIM in an other phone and the connection is excellent, so it's not an sim/provider issue.
My Blu Studio C is not rooted.
I live in Holland. Could it be that my phone is not suitable for use in Europe? I bought my device on Curacao.
Can I make some adjustments to my phone when it's rooted to tackle this problem?

Hello, thank you in advance for whatever help you can give me. I purchased the AT&T galaxy s4 and I am trying to use it in Colombia with my provider Tigo which runs on 1900mhz but I have problems connecting to the internet.
This is my second galaxy s4, the first one I had I opened the AWS bands, selected WCDMA/GSM Mode Only on the service menu and my internet was working just fine. Unfortunately I lost my first phone and bought another one, and went through the same procedures but my mobile data is not working for the most part while it is connected to HSPAP.
If I select GSM only on the srvice menu then it navigates, but at 2G speeds. What seems strange is that I am getting great signal and when I go to about device/status, it shows it is connected to hspap, and gprs, but I dont have an internet connection except at a couple of places, for some reason when I am in my house it works (wifi off), but when I leave my house it doesnt work.
If you have had a similar problem an were able to figure it out I will appreciate any thoughts you may have. It is frustrating having this phone and not being able to use the internet.

I bought a lenovo a820 which has a dual sim.
I also have an unlimited packet with 3g internet and mobile calls.
The GSM slot works perfect but i have just a 2g internet there :crying:.
The WCDMA/GSM slot does not work at all.
The phone identifies the 3G network but cannot connect to it.
I even cannot perform calls then.
I made a research on google and found that with lenovo p780 they had the same problem but in a different direction.
There the 3g slot did work but not the 2G slot

Hi i have a Notes 2 but i can only connect to Edge network not 3G even though my phone supports LTE.
My sim card and network is ok because i used the same SIM card in another 4G phone i can connect to 3G. So i suspect maybe is the phone issue or some settings i have misconfigured.
Android is running on 4.3.

I am a Grand Prime (SM-G530W) user. The Kernel is 3.10.49. The phone has up to LTE in the "Cellular Network mode". This phone was bought from Canada. Im not sure which region. But from November, 2016 I have been using this phone in BANGLADESH, of course after country unlocking. But The phone only works on 2G network though I have coverage of 3G in my area. 2G is too slow and Phone become very hot when i use internet in 2G . Can I do anything to get back 3g and use this phone in Bangladesh? [N.B: I tried with LineageOS Custom ROM Neither it helped]

Whenever I switch to 3G only, my SIM Card signals go down and when I search for network operators, none of the operators are found. I'm living in Pakistan and my area is 3G/4G granted and my SIM Card is also 3G/4G but whenever I keep it to Auto, my signals come back and my phone runs 2G or E instead of 3G. It used to run 3G before but when I installed the latest firmware on my device using Odin, it never switches or finds 3G operators or network. I didn't remember the version of the old firmware installed. Can anyone help me?
I have searched the whole internet but none of the fixes are working.

What firmware did you flash in Odin? Was it the latest firmware for the g550t2 and for your country?

this model have a diferent ic frenquence it not working in lot country i think u must change the ic network by other compatible with diferent frequence
