Slower Speed Connection Detected Popping Up Constantly. Which also tells me to contact my service provider. Does anyone else get this?

I just got my HTC HD2 on T-Mobile UK.
I keep getting spammed with a message when in low to no coverage areas:
Cannot Connect
Dialed:
The answering modem has disconnected. To check your connection settings ect...
Now, I understand that when I get no coverage I can't use the phone, but the spam is bloody annoying, it makes the phone unusable.
I was on the way yo me family's pub using SatNav on the phone but the picture kept gettign obscured by this stupid message every 100 yards or so making it impossible for me to see the sat nav. When I'm at the pub, we get no coverage at all as it's in a village, but I'd like to at least connect to the wireless and/or access other areas of the phone, but I can't due to this stupid message popping up as soon as I hit dismiss.
Is there a way to stop the message coming up?
I know when I have no coverage, the signal bars are good at telling me that.
If there's no way to getting around this then I'm sending the silly thing back and getting a G2 instead.
Thanks.
hi,
the messages are generated from programs that try to connect to the internet like weatherapplication etc. they try to connect and get an error in fact of your low to none coverage. i would say that the best way to fix the issue was to use a programm that block all dataconnection and so prevent the messages.

Okay despite completely wiping my flash NAND with Task29 and installing different ROM's, my device disconnects me whenever I attempt to make an outgoing call when I'm downloading apps from the market. People are sent straight to voicemail when trying to download from the market also.
I thought this was just a problem with a ROM I was using but I was wrong and it happens under every ROM I've flashed.
Has anybody else experienced this issue?
Do you see "E" or "G" instead of "3G" or "H" on the top?
Only "3G" or "HSPA" supports calls and data at the same time.
"2G" or "EDGE" does not support it. So yes, when data usage is heavy, calls can't reach.
2G indeed doesn't support calls and data at the same time, but calls always get priority, or at least they should. I don't even think your phone regulates this, I'd ring your provider and check if this is a known problem.
I very rarely see 2G or even G when I'm tethered or downloading anything.
In the past I never had a problem receiving or making calls while tethered or downloading from my device. Today when I tried calling my HD2 (from someone else phone) while tethered, the call didn't go through and I got an error message tell me "We're sorry, all circuits are busy now. Please try your call again later."
I'm paying unlimited data every month but every once in a while I exceed the 5GB threshold and I do recall receiving a message from T-Mobile about going over my limit. Can that have anything to do with the issues are that occurring?
Does anyone anything else they'd like to add? I really appreciate everyones help by the way.
Was not sure where I should post this, but maybe someone can chime in with assistance. I am having an issue when logging into ATT U-verse via the app. I keep getting the message Error "your phone cannot access u-verse mobile [A2000]. please check your connection settings and try again. has anyone else had this issue?
At times i think the intialization between your phone and uverse is just fudged. Just sign out of the uverse app and try again. sometimes you just need to soft reset your phone. Also, if you are in an area with poor reception this will affect this error code too.
I'm randomly getting this message, and I always get it when I turn on wifi. Anyone know how to get rid of it?
Hi @All
When I'm making a phone call all of the sudden the phone drops all connectivity.
It interrupts the call with a beeping sound and then the message "mobile network not available" pops up.
But not only is the mobile network gone, but also wifi.
After a few seconds the connection to the carrier is established again and I can repeat the phone call.
Sometimes it then works but often I get the next connection loss.
I'm facing this problem on my 6t now already for a while.
I hoped to get rid of this problem by updating the phone to the latest Oxygen OS version - but without success. The problem remains.
Is anyone else facing the same problem and knows if this could be a hardware or softwae related problem?
Thanks in advance
Bastian
