hi
is there any solution for htc m9+ battery life !!
If you are still on stock, backup your data and do a wipe/factory reset.
Adjust the display brightness to moderate one.
If you have rooted and installed Xposed...
SenseToolbox to slide brightness

Hi guys i have some serious battery drain on my new touch hd, last night the phone had 40% and this morning it was dead, this is with a brand new high capacity 2400mah battery, i have data turned off as well as the screen.
I am running stonehenge 6.5 rom with cookie home tabs.
anyone got any ideas?
cheers, thedexter
change rom
turning off the display and wireless connections is one way to save power, but still the battery usage can be easily estimated by having a look at the cpu and ram usage. i for one use the stock rom, and when there are no apps running in background, my ram usage is at 35%, given that you are using wm6.5 and cht, i guess it would revolve around 60-70%, so indeed, to save power, a rom change might be helpful.
thanks for the suggestions guys
flashed a new rom version and downgraded radio to 1.14 and battery life was about the same, then i followed the battery calibration wiki and charged the phone whilst it was switched off and my battery life is looking much better.
cheers, thedexter
Yesterday flashed cm7 it's good but got poor battery life so, which custom rom got best battery life: MIUI, Oxygen, cm7?
Oxygen was the best for me, approx 2 days.
I dont know, but with miui i have 1,5 days when i have calibrated. Remove batterystats when battery is full, then use the phone battery until it phone whiches off the then charge battery 100% without brakes.
ok, thank for tips
I vote for oxygen too.
But maybe needed to do a battery calibration also to achive battery life improvement.
It all depends on what you're using and how often.
To increase battery life:
- unless you really need it, disable GPS, enable when needed, disable after it's done
- turn down screen brightness, I'm running mine at 25% of entire scale only, still can see everything perfectly clear with no issues, I've noticed that Auto mode doesn't turn it down as low as it should
- if you don't need it to check emails and such, disable Sync or increase the time intervals for refresh rates of Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and whatnot
- in console boot (power button + vol up held down) go to Advanced > Wipe Battery Stats, let the phone relearn it again
I've done the wipe on mine just 36hours ago, after loading new MIUI rom battery life went down pretty bad, down to 6~7hours. I've turned down the brightness manually, wiped the battery stats, left everything else as is, so far it's going for 24hours and still has some juice left.
Granted, I don't use it extensively all day, mostly texting and calling, had like 25minute net browsing sessions this morning to kill off the battery, still on 15%!
Cm7 is ok for me.Use Franco's kernel.

my phone lasts almost 2 days with Miui and franco.kernel and regular utilization
I have check out by battery is in good condition.
but still i have battery drain problems.
problems started the day one i flashed a rom.
and the battery draining problem is just due to display.
without display on data connection on, and full time in proper connectivity area:
with music playback i get approx. 10hrs
or with bluetooth 6hrs
or on call i got 5 hrs
this were my battery stats.
but with display on for just 1 hr without any use idealy on homescreen itself it.
so i needed to know were will i get to change the display settings as i was using the lowest brightness of the rom.
i needed to change other features of display were are they available.
it will thankful of you if you help.
Turn your contrast down, use a conservative kernel setting and apart from that, if its still really bad (after a few battery cycles) then its f+$%ked unfortunately.

Turn off google now, syncs, and uninstall facebook. That's what did the trick for me. Also, location settings to off.
Google search (velvet.apk) always eats my battery. So i always delete.
Start with wakelocks and everything automated like syncing and such... After that make sure nothing is getting in the way of screen off battery consumption... From there Basically ur looking for longer screen on times which really has to do with your type of usage... (I can play games while listening to music and get a max screen on time of 2hours or I can read forums check mail..( do stuff that's not cpu/gpu intensive) and hit 6~7 hours screen on time)) Remember those high screen on times are for test purpose and not daily use (unless u really hardly use ur smartphone as 1 )...
Step1. Turn screen brightness to sub 0 value using something like lux auto brightness.. Screen brightness is ur 1st enemy.. control the minimum comfortable brightness u need and that alone will give u an hour or so extra of screen on time... Next is apps running and cpu freq (control what's running and how long u stay on high freqs~ the longer u stay there the more battery u use up..)
... Clear memory when uve used many apps during the day( some tend to stick around when not needed and use battery~ make sure greenify does its job)
Find a good profile for usage between freqs~cores online~ this will introduce lag but nothing too crazy if ur willing to squeeze every last drop of juice
