Hi,
After buying the Nexus 5 on launch day (screwing one over with too much flashing and buying another one), I will get my hands on my OnePlus 2 (OP2 or OPT ?) today. Hopefully this forum will be filled with fun and exciting projects soon ! And will have way less haters / fanboys than the original Oneplus forums.
What are your hopes in terms on development here ? For those who had the OPO, how was the development ? On par with Nexus stuff ?
Are you guys happy with the OPT (I really prefer OP2) ?

Hi guys ,
I have followed android phones for 2 years now , with interest and popularity.Coming from Nokia devices like n900 I was thinking all android devices had an equal interest in development and staying up to date. So I bought the fastest performing phone for android at the time which was Galaxy S (Captivate) But I was a little disappointed than all the development I heard in HTC and Motorola androids. I have 500 dollars spare and I am thinking about buying the nexus s for having a rich perspective on good developing in android and the best up to dates. Is it worth it? your thoughts

if you already have the Captivate, why switch to SNS?
The SGS is a good phone, there are plenty of development on the SGS
you do know the Captivate have the siblings Vibrant, I9000 and of course the Nexus S itself
most of the developments are cross models compatible, the ROMs needs some tweaking, but that's the fun of it.
I have been really undecided whether to buy the Nexus 5 or the One, but since the One doesn't need anymore an invite to be bought, I think I'll go for the One. But I'm still undecided. Why, you might ask ? The Nexus 5 is well known for its huge support by developers and it will be supported and updated "virtually" forever. But what about the One ? It has got guaranteed support by CM for two years, but what after that ? XDA will keep it alive ? The Nexus 5 certainly (I think) yes, but I'm unsure for the One. That's a big matter for me. I don't want to have an outdated phone in hands after two years, and the One has specs good enough to stay on the medium-high of medium range for some years on the hardware side, but who knows what will happen on the software side ? I'm 90% sure One's hardware will be able to run every new version of Android that will come up.
What do you think about it ?

Hello friends. I have been using my OPO for 7 months. Few weeks ago touch issues appeared.
Now I'm going through RMA process and I'm wondering of selling received OPO to buy something else is good idea.
OPO is great, but after that touch problems I lost trust to it.
I thought about LG G3.
It has great camera (which is important to me), good battery, IR, removable battery, expandable storage and is little bit smaller. It has also CM official nightlies, so maybe there won't be problem with custom roms (I really like CM, and custom roms).
What do you think? Is there someone who switched from OPO to G3 or vice versa?
OPO is much better. Buy another OPO

I will have to close this one. Thanks for understanding.
Hi all, I currently have an Xperia SP which is running perfect but I'm looking for an upgrade in the next 6 months or so. I would like to know if it's worth it to buy it then or should I just get OnePlus Two?
Thank you
If you need a phone today, then yes. Oneplus is a fantastic phone. If you don't, then you may have a few options in the next 6 months (they may not be as cheap as the one plus though). With one plus two , nexus etc which are bound to pop up before December....it makes sense to wait if you don't mind a little price increase.
However...depends on how badly you need one ...and how soon.
Edit: this question always starts a debate on "if you need to wait" vs "will you keep waiting for the rest of your life OMG you crazy" debate. So as I said...if you need one now...get it. If not, roll the dice and wait.

Hey..I've been getting some questions concerning whether people should buy the OnePlus One still, now that the OnePlus 2 is out. My answer is 100% yes, but I made a quick video to explain why.
I would love to hear you guys' thoughts as I'm sure most would agree as well. I still think the OnePlus One is an amazing device.

Of course the OnePlus one manages to beat most of the 2015 phones .. Its the pure flash ship killer, unlike its brother OnePlus 2
DARK SIDEā¢
i will definitely keep my opo for now rather than buy the op2
I am using op1 and just got a op2 for one of my friends .... And i still think op1 rocks .... Specially if they do a price cut...op2 is good and very good vfm device but OP1 will remain the actual flagship killer ....i believe the main problem which limits the potential of OP2 is the 810soc which eventhough is the top of line chipset. .. I don't think its actually the best
There's no need for two threads with same comparison. Please stick to this one,
