No, flashplayer.apk is allready patched with so file for x86 device, so no need to be patched .so file, no need other patch like arm based device (i.e. Lucky patcher) or run flashplayer evry boot.
So this prevent to need root, my is rooted but i supose will work.

Only on firefox brower? I tried on cm brower and its not working.

I take some time to test different browsers, but all are obsolete and unsecure, forget about chrome if you care about your privacy and uninstall it.
I remember that "mp4 and mp3 file" are more dangerous then flash, flash exploit was intendet for desktop users so not too dangerous on android, but html5 have security hole for android device that google can't close now (marshmellow releasing seam is afect to) and keep it secret for marketing reason.
Anyway the only browser capable to play flash contents is firefox but need some tweaks, in zf2 flash video will play only in webpage embendet player, so you cant remove some tags like "premium" or F andT icons where are present, so no real immersive mode. In kk4.4 mediabox i can play both native device fullscreen with notags or in webpage jws player only but need browser reboot to switch.
I'll post settings to enable webplayer, need disable container or will play in native player with black screen result, nosense use conteiner for flash plugin on android phone 'cuz browser will crash anyway if plugin crash.
And other tweaks to speed up30-40% browser surfing experience, just simple enable native antitracking protection and disable ipv6 and webrtc (google scam).

Ok i got Hulu working on my Thunderbolt by following these steps.
1. Download Flash 10.2 on your phone, make sure its set to not auto update
2. Download http://www.mediafire.com/file/en3tj77er9ucrqp/libflashplayer.so
3. Use Root Explorer or ADB to put the file in: /data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer/lib
4. If it asks if you want to overwrite the file chose yes, i know it will if you use root explorer, not sure about adb cause i didnt use it.
Hope you all enjoy!

got to love the hulu app
Didn't try it yet, but if you guys don't want to pay for Root Explorer you can easily use Super Manager. Enable root in settings and it will ask you if you want to R/W or R/O when you go into directories that require root.
Tried it on my wife's Vibrant and I got it to work in Dolphin, but not through the App. It was a bit laggy, though, on the Vibrant in the browser.
Going to try my phone now.
edit - rebooted her phone and tried again (browser and the app) and they both say it's not supported now.

[APP] iptraf 3.0.0 for Android (with APK Installer)

Introduction:
Here's the classic iptraf for Android!

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Installation:
You need to have a rooted phone and busybox installed on /system/xbin
You also need to have about 1Mb free on your /system partition.
Usage:
To use iptraf, you need to either have an SSH server on your phone (for example DroidSSHd) and connect using Putty from your PC, or you can use the Terminal Emulator (please see attached screenshots).
Any terminal emulator application should work, but iptraf requires at least 80×24 characters screen so for smaller screens you might need to reduce the font size a lot to make it fit.
The price is payed for the installer and the effort to have iptraf cross-compiled for Android, since iptraf is distributed under GPL license. Put in a different way, you are just buying me a beer for making it easier for you to have iptraf on your phone!
Filters:
If you decide to connect using SSH, the trouble is that iptraf will show the SSH traffic too – something that you might not want to have there constantly updating.
It would seem intuitive to create a filter which excludes SSH port from the traffic, but once you do that, iptraf will not show anything else; iptraf actually has an “implicit no-display” policy meaning that once you apply a filter (include / exclude) nothing else is displayed, even if the filter is Exclude mode. You will need to have an additional Include entry added to the filter (after the Exclusion entry taking care of the SSH port) where everything is 0 and all the ports have an Y next to them. Please check attached screenshots as an example on how the entries of the filter should look like.
Please do not forget to “Apply filter…” every time you change something in the filters. X saves the filter, Ctrl-X cancel the changes, but even if you press X, the filter is not yet applied unless you Apply the filter.
Download
Please donate by buying it from the Google Play :fingers-crossed:
Use it at your own risk!

Could you please make the sources of the iptraf binary available?

1 Euro to download from Android Market? That sucks

[ZIP][TEMPLATE] Adaptive Junk Remover

My first smartphone was the Samsung Galaxy S2. And I was shocked how Samsung "destroys" their own device by adding - sorry for the harsh words - idiotic and useless apps.
Samsung is the main reason why many people (most apple users) are mocking Android.

}
Samsung is the worst manufacturer in adding useless apps. Who needs 23 hubs for social, fitness, books, games, blablabla and 3 app stores? And 2 music players?
Nobody, I guess... That's why I deleted the useless apps from /app and /priv-app after every update and that was awful.
Some weeks ago I made this flashable zip which allows me to delete all unnecessary (at least for me!!!) apps with one flash. I made it for personal use with my OPO and BlissPop. I don't need NFC or CellBroadcastReceiver. Never.
Every ROM is different. Every ROM has same apps in /system but also different ones. That's why I'm sharing a template for the flashable zip, not a ready-2-flash-zip.
Adaptive Junk Remover
1. download the provided zip file for KK / L
2. open it with WinRAR (the best program)
3. browse to \META-INF\com\google\android
4. open the file called updater-script with Notepad++ (also the best program)
5. a) you will see this (for a ROM based on Android 5.0.x // CM12), the delete_recursive tag is necessary because L stores apps in subfolders
b) you will see this (for a ROM based on Android 4.4.x // CM11)
6. you have to add the apps you want to remove, have a look inside your /app and /priv-app folder
7. a) enter the folder name (CM12): delete_recursive("/system/app/FOLDER-NAME"); or delete_recursive("/system/priv-app/FOLDER-NAME");
b) enter the app name (CM11): delete("/system/app/APP-NAME.apk"); or delete("/system/priv-app/APP-NAME.apk");
maybe you have also .odex files, delete them with delete("/system/app/APP-NAME.odex");
8. if you've finished save the file, WinRAR asks to update the zip-file, affirm that (!!!IMPORTANT!!!)
9. flash the zip in your custom recovery
!!!WITHOUT GUARANTEE!!!
delete only apps you know they're safe to remove (link, link, link, etc.)
be aware that some apps share their libs, etc.
if anything goes wrong, for example FCs, simply reflash (dirty) your ROM and delete the FC'ed app from the updater-script of the Junk Remover
if you have questions, feel free to ask
my updater-script for my OPO running BlissPop looks like this, using it after every update, no FC, no other issue
Code:
delete_recursive("/system/app/AntHalService");
delete_recursive("/system/app/BasicDreams");
delete_recursive("/system/app/CMWallpapers");
delete_recursive("/system/app/Eleven");
delete_recursive("/system/app/Email");
delete_recursive("/system/app/FaceLock");
delete_recursive("/system/app/Galaxy4");
delete_recursive("/system/app/HoloSpiralWallpaper");
delete_recursive("/system/app/HTMLViewer");
delete_recursive("/system/app/LiveWallpapers");
delete_recursive("/system/app/LiveWallpapersPicker");
delete_recursive("/system/app/MonthCalendarWidget");
delete_recursive("/system/app/NfcNci");
delete_recursive("/system/app/NoiseField");
delete_recursive("/system/app/OpenCamera");
delete_recursive("/system/app/PhaseBeam");
delete_recursive("/system/app/PhotoPhase");
delete_recursive("/system/app/PhotoTable");
delete_recursive("/system/app/PicoTts");
delete_recursive("/system/tts");
delete_recursive("/system/app/PrintSpooler");
delete_recursive("/system/app/Stk");
delete_recursive("/system/app/Terminal");
delete_recursive("/system/app/VisualizationWallpapers");
delete_recursive("/system/app/WhisperPush");
delete_recursive("/system/priv-app/CellBroadcastReceiver");
delete_recursive("/system/priv-app/CMAccount");
delete_recursive("/system/priv-app/DeviceControl");
delete_recursive("/system/priv-app/Mms");
delete_recursive("/system/priv-app/MmsService");
delete_recursive("/system/priv-app/ScreenRecorder");
delete_recursive("/system/priv-app/Tag");
delete_recursive("/system/priv-app/Velvet");
delete_recursive("/system/priv-app/VoiceDialer");
Nice. Thanks for sharing. You did a great job explaining how to go about this and the script/zip works great. Thanks for taking the time.

Files dissappear

Hi
This problem happened to me with Android N Resurrection Remix and it is happening now with Stock Oreo.
I download files, like podcasts using podcast addict, or other files in the download folder, and some of them just dissappear. I can't find them with my browser 7z neither with my players. Sometimes, using a different browser they appear again, other times not. If I reboot they are there again.
I don't know if it is related, but the system generates 2 download folders, both with the same files, but not duplicating the used space.

What is your default download app... Chrome? If another app, maybe that is the culprit. You may have at one time (in Podcast Addict) defined the download folder. Maybe you can change this setting within the app to the Google Default. You may have to reset your default browser app under Settings >>Apps & notifications>>Advanced>>Default Apps. You may also want to try wiping the cache partition from Recovery.
