Hi,
am on the stock oyxgen 2.0.2 unlocked and rooted with only one austrian SIM
SIM is locked witch 4 disgite code!
When I am booting and not fast enough typing the PIN Code my sim sould not unlock.
On my OpO running Cyanogen by SultanXDA the device was waiting until i put the PIN digits.
Anyone else with this problem?
Which Custom ROM to use to get rid of this problem?
Am on 8 posts now, so still can not post in the developer Area
Any help would be appreciated

Morning all,
I've installed the mexican 4.4.2 Official Kitkat build version on my Note 3 n900w8. After the install (it went flawless) I noticed I've now got a mexican boot screen (no biggie) but I'm now getting a network lock on my sim card, like the lock settings are tied to the firmware and not the modem??
I may just restore back to 4.3 from the Rogers build (I like official builds) but I'm looking for ideas on WHY this happened, also ways to avoid it.I'd love to run 4.4.2 properly without needing a SIM Unlock.
Having said that, are their any non-code unlocks for this? Or is it all code-based unlocking on this model??
Thanks All.

If you check out polish_pat's thread, it'll guide you through the flash process. What I think you have done is substituted the Mexican CSC in place of your own and locked it (I could be wrong) . --- you need to use the Rogers one, check his thread out it has the links etc in it also
Thanks a bunch! this worked perfect. I swear I searched the forum before I posted, and didn't see Polish_Pat's thread

from my previous testing sim unlock doesn't work (doesn't fully unlock sim - You get network but no mobile data) - use a stock based rom or cm7 and remove the sim lock before flashing cm11
If cm11 doesn't boot with the sim then change your baseband

I think it's the sim that is locked rather than phone, if you insert this sim in other phone it will ask for pin as well, if you are not sure what's the pin for the sim then your service provider can help you.
Good day ladies and gents! (And those in between)
I recently installed slimstock on my j510gn. After a few restarts, my phone now needed an unlock code for my phone. Funny thing is, this phone was a glove locked phone from the philippines and im currently using a globe prepaid sim.
Does anyone have any ideas on how i could fix this ?? I really cannot afford another phone and i need to get this fixed.. Switched to viperos coz slimstock had my wifi disabled and idk what custom kernel to flash on tjis to make the wifi work.. Thanks for reading my tl;dr issue..
I recently installed lineage os on my note 4 (SM-N910G) and it has the sim death bug. And alot of people told me to flash acip rom bcs it has less sim death. But it still happens on me. So i flashed the stock 6.0.1 samsung rom back and i still got the sim death even with stock rom. Can anybody pleass help me? Sim card detected and it shows bars but mobile data can't be activated, also i already tried multiple apn's and still nothing.
