[Q] Bug or issues with back camera nexus 7 FHD

im new in the forum and i speak spanish... When i take many pictures with the rear cam of my nexus7, it freez and the nexus reboot. i lost all my pictures taked with the cam, the folder of the camera was erased. .. And show a message about i dont have the external usb storage... The first time i had to do a factory recovery. And was solved.
The second time:
Looking in the file explorer i found a file called "camera" instead the camera folder. if you erase that file the camera come to life again... But i have to do backups of my pictures because the bug comes again and again... I hope you understand my english... I think i need to use the factory image because i have the jWr66n and the lastone is the jss... And the update doesnt come to me...
The tablet is new, doesnt have unlock bootloader and is not rooted....
Some have a solution or have the same problem?

Restoring deleted photos from non rooted S4

Two days ago I bought Samsung Galaxy S4 ,, i took some photos from here and there, i wanted to delete one so i deleted the entire folder
I really need those photos
is there a way to restore them back ??
I don't have a backup
and I think my Mobile is non rooted

If your photos were stored on external memory card, you could mount that onto a computer, and try to recover files using any of the widely available file recovery utilities (just search the web, and pick one from a reputable company - I haven't had to use one yet, so can't make a recommendation).
For future, enable auto-backup/upload using dropbox or google plus or any of the other options - that way, your photos get backed up without you having to do anything.

excuse me but im newbie in the android systems,, if i root my mobile ,, can i retrieve the photos ??

Rooting isn't going to make it any easier to recover your photos.

Sorry, but I don't know.
Read - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1994705 - it "may" work. There may be easier solutions - hopefully, other folks will have better news.

[Q] Problem in writing to disk

Hi,
Yesterday I installed cyanogemod on my i9500.
Since the installation I have several problems. They all have one thing in common: reading and writing to disk.
1. When I open the camera he crashed and said to me: "unfortunately camera has stopped".
2. When I open the gallery I can see all the images files but when i open the image i see only black.
3. When I connect the phone to a computer to transfer files. I can see the files but not write or read them.
4. When I try to download files from the browser, I'm getting a failer massege.
5. Tody I tryed to update the CM from the OTA and also I'm getting a failer massege.
Can anyone help me?
I really do not want to go back to original firmware.

HELP! Lost vacation pic's in gallery

How can I onrooted get data/photo's back from DCIM file on phone storage?
I lost all my vacation pics. I just want te delete 1 photo butt deleted all.
specs:
- note 4 with firmware android 5.1.1.
- model: SM-N910F
thinks I already did:
- I tried already recuva or getdata back. But because it isn't USB but MTP protocol that doesn't work.
- Also my gallery pics wheren't synct with my drive. So there are not on my google account.
- Alse dr. Phone for android but for some reason dr. Phone don't regornise my phone

You need root for this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.defianttech.diskdigger&hl=en_GB
Let it scan your internal storage and see what it finds.
In Cyanogenmod you can choose to mount as mass storage that's how I recover files using recuva.

do you have tips for rooting?
Thnx, although I'm a noob into this I'm rooting now with kingo root. And will try diskdigger. The rooting is failed. Do you have suggestions for rooting?

Storage issues

I'm using squid2's CM 12.1 with bis kernel from around Nov 11, and have the following issues:
- The Google camera tells me that there is a Problem saving a photo after taking it. The photo is still saved, but I always have to click away the message.
- When I connect to the PC, I can neither access the Internalisierung nor the external storage - it just doesnt show up in the Explorer like a drive as it should.
- In ES Explorer I sometimes can't see the pictures taken - and in Whatsapp I'm sometimes unable to acces the pictures I've taken to share them.
I would assume these problems are all storage related, but I dont know. Any ideas?

There was a problem in that build regarding the storage.
- Backup all the stuff you want to save. You will wipe your internal storage.
- Run this fastboot command: "fastboot erase userdata".
- Reboot your phone. Let it boot.
- Then flash the latest CM build from squid2.
