Camera Issues after Root. Any ideas? - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm having issues with my camera ever since I rooted.
I'm on Att Variant of GS5. I Used Towelroot to root. I'm running stock Touchwiz Rom/ 4.4.4 KK/ and OA1 Kernal. To achieve Root I had to flash to Kernal ND3 then Back to 0A1.
Ever since I've done this my camera app (stock Samsung camera) will take photos and mess them up while saving I'm guessing. The thumbnails for the photos show up in the bottom corner of the app that takes you to gallery but they will not be there. I took a total of maybe 10 photos of my friends vehicle they are trying to sell. It successfully save the first few, then you can see where on photo partially saved. Then the rest of the photos are not available.
Ill post a screenshot of my gallery where you can see this. This is not the first time this has happened. It happened directly after root and I cleared the app data and cache. That did work but obviolsy it was only a temporary fix. If anyone knows how I can solve this problem for good please help me out. Thanks in advanced

An App Develope request, to solve no FFC problem

My HD2 is a great phone, wheather when its a WM6.5, or after I rooted to Android. I mean, come on, its been on the market for like 3yrs.
The only thing that sucks is the absent of a Front Face Camera
I found this idea below, which inspire me to make a similar thing to it.
However, the image will be upside down, with my little Periscope .
Is that possible someone make an app that make my camera does upside down?
There are some stock roms that has the problem with upside down camera, If someone could make a repair file out of it, I guess someone else could use those problematic file to create an app, that would automatically sub the original camera setting files into the upside down one, once you are done with your video chat, you could go back and reset it normal.
Possible ? I'm confident many of us are willing to make a donation, and the concept doesn't sound very challenging ( sorry, I'm not a com. sci, major )
I wish I know how to write apps.
Any input?

Unable to Update after (Rooting) SM G900i

Hi all,
This will be one of my first contributions to (XDA).
I'd like to start of by adding a little - probably already known fact about my S5.
After I rooted it using using (ODIN v3.09) and the SMG file I had noticed after quickly browsing through
everything that when I decided to try a normal (default) update I had no success.
I have attached a screen shot of the prompt a had received.

A work around to this issue was found by accident when I tried a previous program called "SnapPea".
http://www.snappea.com/
I was using SnapPea as an alternative to Kies etc. It's free and I have had no issue thus far.
It worked well with my old S2 and is working just as well with my S5.
NOTE: you may find a "ADB Debugging Deamon" conflict if you are running any other clients in relation to Mobile Phone editing
but these can be ignored without major concern as I have found due to running MOBILedit.
For the basic Mobile editing i.e. contacts, pictures, install and uninstall and of course the option of updating your s5 G990i!
I would highly recommend it.

com.lenovo.runtime Lenovo spyware?

After the whole superfish spyware scandal with Lenovo I'm curious what you guys think about this runtime from lenovo which came preinstalled on my ZUK. It basically has full device access. I tried freezing it but it keeps on running in the background. The app name is Runin-Main (com.lenovo.runtime).
Anyone did a deeper analysis of this app on and what it does?
I froze it with Titanium Backup and it stuck.
Actually on a reboot even with the files disabled, I think the start because the force close option is there, but they stay off until you reboot again.
I have the same doubt about it, also because looks really aggressive on battery drain.

Here more details.
Maybe some kind of testing/benchmarking tools?
Looks suspicious.
Same problem here, this com.lenovo.runtime is taking a lot of battery, what is it exactly? Anyone else tried to froze it or delete?
This process is only on Cyanogen OS? not on CyanogenMod?
Not showing up in my battery stats. I came across this too. It's harmless you can get to it with a button combination too. It's an engineer test. Try freezing them.
Sometimes it appears, sometimes not, is it the same on CM12.1 or only on COS12.1?
It takes a lot of battery.
This only comes preinstalled with COS12.1

[QUESTION]S-Pen, and stock Camera app support on N910V CM13?

Hey XDA, first time posting, long time follower here. I followed the tutorial from @hsbadr to get CyanogenMod 13 on my Verizon Note 4(here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3253973, and it is working flawlessly! But having been on CM13 for a little over a couple months, I am beginning to miss my S-Pen functionality. I've been doing some research, and can't seem to find a solid working example of getting the S-Pen to function (not expecting 100% functionality, of course). From what I could gather, the S-Pen's functionality is tied in with Touchwiz, but I didn't know if there any ports from the stock ROM that runs independently of Touchwiz.
Similarly, I've been missing the amazing functionality of the stock camera app back when I was running 5.1.1, but again I understand (or at least I believe so) that the camera app actually depends on Touchwiz. I've been using Open Camera for a while, but seriously miss the built in functionality that the stock app provided. Have there been any developments or workarounds for this? I realize there's more than likely little to nothing that can be done while running CM13, but I figured I'd ask! Also, for those curious, I've provided a screen shot of my system information. Thank you!

'Android System' appearing in downloaded apps?

Before I do a reset on my phone, I am curious to know how 'Android System' ended up in my Downloaded Apps section of the app manager? I've not done anything with the device in terms of something that would do this. It might also explain why I keep getting package installer errors.

I did a reset through settings as opposed to flashing the firmware. I was curious to see how badly I screwed things up. Google Play store was missing and Account Services wouldn't load properly. Now I know when you have a locked bootloader and the Google APKs come preinstalled, that I have to restore firmware to use stock apps. Well, if some of you know me enough by now, I don't take no for an answer usually. So I took an hour, looked for the stock Play Store. I found it on the first try. Or the phone accepted it. Either way, All 4 APKs fixed themselves, but they migrated out of the system. So The only way to fix the stock is to flash firmware. If you're lucky enough to find the right APK online, they will fix themselves, but won't be system apps. So far everything seems so good.
