Hello to all
I've recently flashed my MyTouch 4G with the latest build of Cyanogenmod 7 and have my carrier (simple mobile) working with no problems whatsoever, up until Netflix gives me errors such as "There is a problem connecting to Netflix. Please try again (13005)." When I checked it out on my PC and on my PS3, everything was working fine and was able to stream correctly, but not on my phone. I checked out most of the netflix topics that covered this problem, and even went so far as to go to Netflix help with the error code, but it doesn't even show up in there systems. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I tried using the Android Marketplace apk, and a different Netflix APK that dealt with screen rotation, but the same results happen with no streaming. Thanks to anyone who can help.
Just tried it with the latest Netflix on Simple Mobile and it's working fine
i'm also on 7.1 cm stable.... with t-mobile..... issue here is that i have sound but no video.... my guess is that netflix is not supporting android version 2.3.7 ... maybe that is the issue for you too
my netflix works fine and i use simple mobile...
I've been using pocket.do for a long time to send sms. Lately I've been having connectivity problems between the client and "server" (phone) which I assumed was a fault with pocket.do. After trying several different clients, they all seem to have the same problem both on stock ROM and CM 10.
It seems the problems started along with the new bootloader...?...
Anyone else noticed this? Is there a fix?
I'm running on the most recent version of Kitkat (no 5.0 for my device yet) and I've got a weird issue where I can't connect to my office's WPA2-Enterprise network, every time it comes up saying "Saved, secured" but doesn't even try to connect. Works just fine on an unofficial CM12 (Lollipop )build. Interestingly I had the same problem with my old OnePlus One on KK but that was fine too on CM12 so the issue seems to be with Kitkat.
I've tried googling it for hours but I'm not finding anything relevant to my issue. Seems weird that I've experienced it on two devices but nobody else seems to have it! Is it a common issue? Anything I can try to fix it?
Bump. Surely someone else has experienced this?
Hello all,
I'm experiencing a strange phenomenon with my Samsung Galaxy J5 (model number SM-J500FN, running Android 6.0.1) and was hoping someone might be able to help!
It works fine most of the time, but stutters and crashes whenever it's connected to one certain free Wifi network. This "guest" network is provided by our local council and is accessible in libraries/leisure centres/schools etc. Other friends with Android phones can use this free network with absolutely no issues, but my J5 slows to a crawl soon after connecting, and is soon unusable. It doesn't even reboot easily, and when it does (eventually), and I reconnect to the network, the exact same thing happens again. The only error message I've seen pop up during the stuttering procedure is "Touchwiz home has stopped working".
I stress again that my phone experiences no issues whatsoever when connecting to *any other network* apart from this one, free Wifi.
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? Or, more importantly, how I can address this issue? (This free, guest network is prevalent all over the area I live in. Sometimes my phone connects to it in my pocket without my knowledge, and it takes 15 minutes to restart my phone and be able to use it again!)
Any advice would be very welcome. Thanks for reading, all the very best.
P.S. I am by no means a phone expert, so it would be hugely appreciated if you could walk me through any potential fixes, I'm not brilliant with jargon... Thanks!

You can do one thing. Download the latest firmware from Sammobile for your model and flash it using Odin. If there is any problem with your firmware then this will fix it. I also had some problems with my phone's firmware so i flashed the latest firmware from Sammobile and everything was fixed. Sometimes there are some problems with the firmware which come by default with the device at the time of purchasing.
Has anyone experienced losing mobile data connection intermittently? I noticed that there are several times that mobile data intermittently gets disconnected or loses connection. I experienced this since the first time I used the phone, I am running stock Android One under April 2018 security patch. After the May 2018 security patch I still experience the same intermittent disconnection of mobile data.
I have then rooted the phone using Magisk and still mobile data intermittently gets disconnected, the only remedy is if I reboot the phone.
Is this an inherent issue of the Mi A1? I am thinking of trying our a different custom ROM and see it the issue gets resolved and to rule-out any hardware problem.
Out of topic, what is the most stable custom ROM for Mi A1?
Thanks in advance for any replies.
