Hello to all
I've recently flashed my MyTouch 4G with the latest build of Cyanogenmod 7 and have my carrier (simple mobile) working with no problems whatsoever, up until Netflix gives me errors such as "There is a problem connecting to Netflix. Please try again (13005)." When I checked it out on my PC and on my PS3, everything was working fine and was able to stream correctly, but not on my phone. I checked out most of the netflix topics that covered this problem, and even went so far as to go to Netflix help with the error code, but it doesn't even show up in there systems. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I tried using the Android Marketplace apk, and a different Netflix APK that dealt with screen rotation, but the same results happen with no streaming. Thanks to anyone who can help.
Just tried it with the latest Netflix on Simple Mobile and it's working fine
i'm also on 7.1 cm stable.... with t-mobile..... issue here is that i have sound but no video.... my guess is that netflix is not supporting android version 2.3.7 ... maybe that is the issue for you too
my netflix works fine and i use simple mobile...

I just wanted to know if anyone else running a newer JacXHero is or is not having a problem with YouTube auto playing in HQ. I am unable to make it work after trying everything, but was told that the newest build should autoplay in HQ on 3g.
I have yet to watch a flash video with skyfire, i get to the part where the video is loading, but then at 50% of loading video from page , the video starts playing in the background and it stops loading the video. Has anyone experienced this and is there a fix for this . I tried searching on internet and on skyfire forums, and have found few other ppl complaining about this but no fix for this problem. I had switched the setting to android in skyfire and still the same prob.
Its a Beta, there are much failures in this version! Sometimes it works, sometimes not...

People like me in asia can't watch flash videos yet. Let's just wait
I installed the official jk4 froyo this morning and neither winamp or xiialive can connect to any stations, I use this feature a lot and I'm very bummed right now.
Both apps can browse the station listings but cannot connect to the stream.
I've tried rebooting and it didn't help.
I have full signal, it's not like it times out slowly just instantly get an unable to connect message.
Could bell be blocking this?
Anyone else?
Neil
I gave this a try just to check for you, and it doesn't work on my jk4 either.
I've checked with logcat, and there doesn't seem to be a dicernable error, it just keeps sending playercode 14 (which I have no idea what it means).
I'd suggest contacting the winamp dev team, they may need to update the app.
It's not just winamp
"failed to play the requested stream" is the actual message, from searching it looks like it has something to do with the type of stream aac vs mp3 and it's not device or app specific.
hopefully a fix comes along soon.

I just tested it and I can stream fine over both wifi and 3G with JK4

I had this issue with TuneIn Radio when I first got jk3. I just reinstalled the app
and everything worked fine.
it's winamp
after a reboot if I start winamp first and then try other streaming apps non work, if I do a reboot and just use other streaming apps it works fine.
so I guess avoid winamp for now.

I looked where I could within limited time, wife hates me working with my phone, and I can't find the help I am looking for. My HD2 on T-Mobile with a newly flashed TBD_Sensation_xl_v2.2_TMOUS nand and this is the 2nd OS I am having these problems with.
Issues:
#1: Internet works crappy at best on TMobile connection but works fine with wi-fi, possible configuration error (worked fine on stock ROM)?
#2: I can calibrate my G-Sensor but when I go to play any games that use the G-Sensor, they tell me it's not there(worked fine on stock ROM)?
Thanks
What's up guys. I am a big XBMC user, particularly the Mashup addon. I can't seem to get anything streaming while I'm on my LTE mobile data, which is plenty fast. When I try to search movies or shows, nothing comes up. This is not an issue when I'm connected via wifi. I had a little work around by saving the show (for instance GOT) to my favorites while connected to wifi, then when I switched to mobile, I can watch it.
Has anyone had their XBMC run without issue on their Nexus 4?

I use XBMC with Mashup without a problem. Though I always use it with WiFi, never tried data. Which version are you on?
I'll try data now and see if it works.
Edit:
Tried data and it works, are you sure LTE is working for everything else?

Yea, I'm positive. I cant get anything streaming with data on XBMC. Even my simple dailyshow add-on doesn't work. I have nightly builds latest version; I've tried several. What version are you on abd even tell me the ROM you are using, I want to immitate everything you're doing.

Before doing that, my carrier's LTE is not band 4 so I don't have 4G on my nexus. By data I meant 3g. Try using 3g instead of 4g and see if that helps, it might be an LTE issue(?).
I'm using Carbon nightly 2014/jul/01, on faux kernel.
XBMC is version 13.0-RC1 (Gotham) (which is an old version, I know.. I haven't updated XBMX in a few months) and Mashup is latest version (since it updates automatically)
