I ball slide wq32 - Windows 8 General

I bought this tablet (wq32) a month ago. Today I got a pop up notification that windows 10 update is available. So did the requires stuff for installing it. Everything went smoothly. But windows 10 was too slow so I was given the option to restore 8.1 so I clicked on it. Now I get this screen and there is nothing I can do. Please help me. [Q] Does the phone needs a data plan to activate and/or download market app?

Hi guys, I have owned the HD2 for more than a year now, but using Droid as my OS. Now, I would like to start using Win7 as my new OS for it. I was successfull loading Magdlr & Win7, I was also successfull in acquiring the activation code via chat.
I already entered the activation and the phone took it, but when I'm downloading a free App, it keeps on saying "Can't get this info right now.check back in a little while", that little while has been two days ago, so I know there's something wrong. I also followed, the setup for the XBMODD app, and tried to setup the network, but I don't have a data plan, I only use the Wi-fi.
Now my question is do I need a data plan so I can successfully download a free app? If not, what am I doing wrong? I would appreciate any help and advice.
Thank you very much in advance.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G for Veriaon & Kies

Hopefully someone can help with my problem. I have downloaded Kies on my Laptop and have tried numerous times to get a connection with my Tab. It just sits and spins and never recognizes or connects to the Tab. I have done the connection suggestion and reloaded the drivers but still can't connect. Anyone here have any suggestions or settings I have missed.
Wish I could help but I ran into the same issue. I search the web and tried all different solutions and none of them worked. I even called Samsung and they told me that our device was not supported by kies.
Keep me in mind if you get this resolved.
Peace

Will do. Hopefully someone here can offer a definitive answer. I noticed you are in NC. I'm from Oxford/Durham originally. My son is Post Docing at Duke right now. Doesn't go over well in a Tarheel house. LOL
I live in Raleigh. But born and raised in NJ and don't have any school affiliation. Still fun to watch the fanatics.
Back on point. I just tried kies mini but still no recognition of my device.
I had these same problem earlier On! When using Cm9
I was able to sync perfectly after I flashed the new ics 4.0.4 stock Italian update which came out a couple of days ago
Hope it will help you

[Q] Mobile Network within applications

Hello everyone,
I recently purchased the Nexus 4 directly from the Google website, had it shipped to Romania and here I bought a prepaid card and went away and activated it.
Everything works perfect, except I just noticed that some applications can't log on to the mobile network.
I installed Triple Town and since I already bought the item "Unlimited turns" on another device I wanted to Restore my purchases and have it on the Nexus 4 as well. I get some sort of "Network unavailable" error and I can't restore my purchases. Buying "turns" via the Play Store works, however.
I thought it was an application-only error until I downloaded Iron Man 3 via WiFi. When I try to launch it I get "A network error has occured. Do you want to try again?", even though I'm online.
Does any of you know what the issue might be here?
Thanks in advance,
Rob

Showbox error please help!!

Hello all,
I am currently having issues with my showbox on my Verizon Note 3. For some reason the app refuses to update and I am forced to uninstall and reinstall in order to get the most recent movie/show listings. On top of that, when I reinstall, I ALWAYS get an error msg when the app initially tries to download the movie/show list. It says "network error check Internet connection." I do not understand what the problem is because at the time my Internet always works fine on 4g. Finally, I am only able to download the most recent movie/show listings 1 time after initial install and that is when I am at home on wifi. After the initial update it goes back to not updating. My phone is not rooted, although my friend went through all the steps and then found out that bc of my baseband version, the phone could not be rooted. Is there any chance that attempting to root messed up some settings that are causing me to have this problem? I am running android 4.4.2. Any advice or help is greatly greatly appreciated. Also, I've been trying to find a way to contact the developer but haven't had any luck? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks again for all the help!!

Uninstall it and then get it from their website. That's the only way it works for me when that happens.

ViperOne Biotch!
Verizon has this application's host server blocked in their firewall. I hear t-mobile, and AT&T aren't far behind...
I use shoebox daily on my note 3 and it's not blocked at all... I'm rooted and I just hit the back button everytime the update dialog pops up. Causing the pool up to go away... Back to showbox viewing then... Mine updates the movie or shows on either wifi or data... I did update a few months back when app broke though... I searched it on Google

What version is it?
Tried Uninstaller and reinstalling new app from website. Still getting "server error check Internet connection" while I'm at home on WiFi . Believe it or not it only has updated when I'm at work. Very strange. Any ideas?
So i just downloaded the app and you're right it does have the connection error.
I decided to run some tests on my work ATT wifi it wasn't loading but when i turned off wifi and used my Verizon 4g it loaded.
So i went back to wifi because i am not on an unlimited verizon plan to be downloading all these files, and it works.
I was able to recreate it on a tablet so i believe only the inital sync of the app is needed on a network not on ATT after that you can use the app normally.
Give it a try and see how it does work.
1st open the app on a non ATT network then switch over to the ATT wifi you're using.
Good Luck.
I tried showbox and I really liked it but it comes up as a threat in any Antivirus app.
I really don't know much about it but would like to know more.
I just don't need any frauds getting my info off my phone.
If it's all good to use can anyone explain the permissions. Location and a few others kind of made me worry. Plus my GPS was searching the whole time I had the app open.
Thanks guys
Try...
I went to the wife setting and clicked forget for my wife connection then reentered the password and the problem was fixed
Show box up date error

OTA Update disappeared

I have the Droid Turbo 2 through Verizon.. The Marshmallow update popped up on my device about a week or so ago and I ignored it. I thought if there was going to be a root for this phone, it would be before the update... So i waited.
Now though, when I go to download marshmallow or do/search for the update, it says I'm up to date (yet it says i have v5). It won't seem to detect the v6 update.
I've been looking all over on what I can do to update. I've tried using the Verizon android update app, but it wont detect my phone (???) and there's no way to do the update using Fastboot. And I'm not clearing the Google Services Framework as I've read way too much on how it can mess up the device.
Does anyone know what I can do to remedy this?
I think Verizon pulled the update a day or two after it went live. Probably due to some reported issues. I don't think they've made it available again yet.
I'll bet if it has been pulled for additional testing, we won't see an update until after the April security patch is published by Google (and maybe they'll also throw in wifi calling?).

We have three Droid Turbo 2's since November. The first two got the update "on time", downloaded and installed both parts with no problem. The third one, however, was never offered the update, and then over the last couple of weeks, despite checking for updates several times a day, it was never offered on that phone.
I tried connecting the phone to my own laptop (a Dell XPS15 - Windows 10). While the laptop recognized the phone, and I could transfer files back and forth, the VSUA (Verizon software upgrade assistant) never responded to having the phone connected. I tried moving the cable from one of the 3 USB 3.0 connections to the sole USB 2.0 connection - still no joy.
Finally, I installed VSUA on another laptop and also tried a different USB cable. It took about 30 seconds, but this time the VSUA actually recognized the phone and offered the update.
The OTA updates had been offered as two files: the first relatively small, and the second 1.1GB. This time, via VSUA, I was only offered a single update - and it was large, and took a long time to download. The install was also pretty slow - but in the end it worked, and the phone was fully updated to the same version that our other two phones were up to after the two OTA updates.
My suggestion: round up a couple of different very good USB cables. Make sure you're using a USB 2.0 port on your computer -- not USB 3.0; I don't know if that's superstition or not, but stories online seem pretty consistent that this is needed to make VSUA recognize your phone, and it worked for me. Make sure your phone is set to "MTP" mode in the USB options when you connect to your PC.
As I noted above, it took several tries on two different laptops, but VSUA finally worked for me, found and installed the update. It takes patience, but should work. Worst case, if you still have no luck, see if you can locate another computer to try - again making sure you're using a USB 2.0 port. I really think that, if you're persistent and methodical, you'll be able to install the update.
So, what's your Android version now? 6.0 or 6.0.1?

I posted this on the Marshmallow 1 of 2 thread under the Droid Turbo 2 General forum, I had the same issue with my wife's phone. I used Verizon SUA utility and was able to update with no problem. Hope this helps.
