I would like to test kernel from UK Blade A430 SD card upgrading instruction & software package(Micro-P)-275342B0237DIS_EUR_QB18S_P632A10V1.0.2 on my Italian TIM branded ZTE Blade A430 to chech out if at least the kernel from the UK rom is ok on my phone.
I see that the update.zip has a boot.img in it but I was unable to boot that directly ... maybe I need to extract the kernel from it: how do I go about that ?

Hi to everybody!
I just bought a galaxy tab branded h3g (italy)
Those are my current features:
PDA: P1000XWJJ3
PHONE: P1000XXJID
CSC: P1000HUIJJ3
So, it's a bit outdated and i'd like to update to new JMI FW!
How to update?
How to backup my current firmware so to return back to it and avoid problems with guarantee?
Which fw do you advice me to flash in to improve performances (and possibly, as i said, go back to my current FW whenever ill feel to)?
Oh, and what about clockworkmod recovery? Should i install it before flash new firmware? (i installed rom manager...and waiting for your instructions)
Thank you all!
Hey mate, well the best instructions I can recommend would be my guide for Overcome v1.2.0, and that would also be my recommendation for a ROM, performs extremely well. This also includes CWM installation and changing your core filesystem to ext4 for increased performance.
Check out the ROM details here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=932082
My guide can also be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=11836202
For a Pre-Clockwork Backup, RotoBackup is the best current method. Info here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=850359
I hope this helps, and Good Luck

Thank you for your infos!
What about to install clockworkmode recovery via rom manager first?
That's what im supposed to do:
1) Installa clockworkmode recovery from rom manager, so to backup my current h3g italy stock FW
2) install your custom rom OVERCOME
3) if dont like it, or need to revert back to stock firmware, i can use the backup made with clockworkrecovery previously installed via rom manager!
am i right?
Thank you in advance!
P.S.: what does it means that overcome rom doesent include "Modem"?
Hi, I have a Galaxy Tab Vodafone (italy). can I follow the same procedure?
I'm only worried for the gsm module, can I have problem for this? thanx
I flashed the JMI standard rom from samfirmware.com and its fine. However you will need to run a little boot unlocker app if ever you want to flash a custom rom in the future. Just search for "JM* galaxy tab" and you'll find the app.
Sometimes standard isn't so bad.... ;-)

Hi to all,
I am posting the link for a cwm as closest to stock for the european atrix (nordics greece), with bootloader unlocked, rooted, mem and battery fix. It's as close to stock with the aforementioned modifications. I thought this cwm
may be helpful to fruitcakes (they were missing the european ones) or anybody who want to revert to unlocked, rooted stock.
The process I followed was the following:
1. Flash from 2.3.6 based rom to stock 2.3.4 of the european sbf (nordics and greece) 1FF-olympus_emara-user-2.3.4-4.5.2A-74_OLE-31.20-release-keys-signed-NonEFIGSRetail-EU (kindly uploaded by haki.gr)
2. unlock (intl fix 1)
3. install romracer's cwm
4. rooting with root_cwm.img
5. memory fix with ramfix.img, and
6. battery fix with jug6 fix2.img
7. cwm full backup (including webtop) and upload
Information (reading from the phone)
System version 45.31.20.MB860.NonEGIGSRetail.en.EU
Android version 2.3.4
Baseband N_01.100.00R
Webtop WT-1.2.0-133_38
Kernel 2.6.32.9
Build number 4.5.2A-74_OLE-31.20
I can't post the link normally because I haven't reached 8 messages, but it is
at filefactory file 24tzdjygmy3z n Cwm-marmoras-stage1-2_3_4-en-eu_zip
(put www and com before and after filefactory and replace spaces with /)
Hope it is helpful
Hi, thanks for this. I tried installing using Koush CWM 5.0.2.0 and I get:
"Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Installing update package...
Installation aborted."
I'm running a euro atrix (originally t-mobile) SIM unlocked, rooted, currently on CM9 ROM.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Hi Appy,
I tried to flash back, there was a system error, I think I messed up the recovery process. Just to be safe, I will remove the file, redo it, and post an MD5 (just in case of corrupt files).
I don't know if it makes any difference that I used the romracers.
brilliant. thanks a lot!
Hi
Could you send me this fruitcake?
thx

EU fruitcake available here since three months ago: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1926072
hi,I have a zte blade l3 phone that i'd bought it from germany, (Mediamarket store).it has the Androild 5.0 os on it which the Build number : DIS_EU_B128DL_P182A20V1.0.1 and the kernel info is
Kernel v : 3.10.54 ([email protected]) (gcc version 4.8 (GCC) ) #1 SMP
unfortunately,i deleted some system files indeliberately that it doesn't boot... then i use sp flash tools to flash it again with the proper rom for this device.i downloaded a lot of roms from internet (for example:some of them i downloaded from 4pda.ru forum in the zte balde l3 section)then i was using the sp flash tool for flashing my zte.i choosed the scatter file. and after formatting and flashing the new rom, whenever, i want to turn on my zte, it just show the white screen..and i hear the sound of the booting logo, but, it stops on the white screen.
many people tell me, it's because of the Inappropriate rom which i used to flash.but, i couldn't find the proper official rom in the Eu region for flashing with the sp flash tools.---------
At now, i'm not in Germany.I want to know is there a solution remained for me returning to the situation before. How can I fix the problem to restore the phone to the normal status?
I hope You can Solve my problem.
zte blade L3 ROM
Hallo, I have read your post and I have same problems. I bought it in Saturn and I can't find EU ROM. All RO`s from 4pda have tried, same result: white screen, welcome sound that is all. So as I know our problem that we have formatted preloader and it not accept any other preloader from other ROMs. And solution is we have to ask guys who has a similar phone with android 5.0, to copy his ROM via SP flash tool read back function and share it with us. Then we can flash it in download mode by flashtool and its should work. But if you formatted your preloader your IMEI also erased, if you have imei bakup it's no problem, but anyway there many ways to restore imei. So I wish you good luck, and kindly ask you if you can find proper ROM share it with me also. I will do the same, hope somebody here will help to unbrick our ZTE blade L3. just ask juys like me maybe your German language helps, or you have some friends not in internet, you can ask them. There no risks for his phone, if you need I will help with step by step instruction how to copy his ROM. Good luck and thank you in advance!

Hello friends ,
My question might be annoying you that why i need this zip file. So the answer is, I have redmi 2 1gb variant i installed various custom ROM's out there but in all of them when i switch mobile network from SIM 1 (jio) to 2 (airtel) then phone reboots every time. then one day i tried new custom rom named Validus. there no such bugs/ issues. now the maintainer of that rom is going to leave the development of that ROM coz he doesn't have this phone anymore.
Now thats why i want to extract baseband file of that rom and make it flashable. So that i can flash any ROM out there to be updated and flash that baseband zip file on that to fix the rebooting issues.
Any kind of help with tutorial will be appreciated.

You try flash frimeware LOS by nick . Second post.
when i want to switch mobile internet from SIM 1 (jio) to 2 (airtel) then my mobile (redmi 2) shows no network or no sim and I am facing speaker problem in that condition.
Nought Rom don't contain baseband file,if you need baseband file, you should download a miui then extract .bin file in firmware-update directory.
