Hy, I own an S5 G900F. I flashed a stock rom latest version then my S5 root before flashing a rom Omega 2. Everything worked perfectly until I decided to change my sdcard having taken care to move all the files present on my old sd card on news.
At start of my S5 nothing worked, I have the screen that lights up with the SAMSUNG GALAXY S5 logo, powered by ANDROID but the top right I have the following message in red: kernel is not enforced seandroid and yellow: set warranty bit kernel.
I can not switch to recovery since disappeared, I just can enter download mode.
With odin so I tried to flash my S5 with stock rom (XEF-G900FXXU1ANE2-20140519102224).
Here is the odin message when I load this rom:
Enter CS for MD5 ..
Check MD5 .. Do not unplug the cable ..
Please wait ..
900FXXU1ANE2_G900FOXX1AND3_G900FXXU1ANE2_HOME.tar. md5 is valid.
Checking MD5 finished Sucessfully
..
Leave CS.
My S5 is well recognized by odin, it tells me blue com port 3 and
Added!
Top right of the screen of my S5 I have these messages:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT-NAME: SM-G900F
CURRENT BINARY: CUSTOM
SYSTEM STATUS: OFFICIAL
LOCK REACTIVATION (KK): OFF
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x1 (4)
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE (CBS)
SWREV RP: S1, T1, R1, A1, P1
UDC: START
I run flash with odin:
Odin v.3 engine (ID: 3) ..
File analysis ..
SetupConnection ..
Initialzation ..
Get PIT for mapping ..
There is no PIT partition.
All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
The flash stops with S5 on the screen messages:
MMC: mmc_read fail
ODIN: flash read failure
I do not know what to do! Is it a hardware brick or a simple software problem??
Thank you for trying to help me if it is possible. I hope to have been clear

Not bricked but you need to flash a pit file along with the firmware, look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2737448 for the correct pit file or how to extract one if yours isn`t listed (need root for that).
Thank you for your quick response but I already tried to flash the pit with odin without success always with the same message MMC: mmc_read fail etc ...
SM-G900F_pit_16GB.zip (fail)
SM-G900F_pit_16GB_SER.zip (fail)
SM-G900F_pit_16GB_ETL.zip (fail)
Something, some glitch apparerently corrupted your kernel. And that (probably subsequently) corrupted your partition structure. You are soft bricked at this point.
As gee2012 suggested, you now need to flash both the PIT and a full stock image. Stop trying to flash random PIT files or you may end up hard bricked. You need to identify the correct PIT and use that one. The PIT file should match your phone model, original carrier (i.e. match your baseband) and ROM size.
Flash the correct PIT in conjunction with a full stock Odin image from the matching carrier. Note that stock firmware is flashed as a tar file, but the PIT file needs to be flashed as a PIT file, if you are trying to flash it while it's still zipped that alone will cause it to fail.

Hi,
This just happened to me today. I was messaging a friend on my phone when all of a sudden it shuts down. Now when it reloads after the samsung logo I box pops up saying Unfortunately, System UI has stopped.
Anyone please help us
Phone: Samsung S7 Edge, SM-G935F
Country: UK
Here is my problem. I had rooted my phone, installed TWRP, and flashed Renovate edge. Then I ATTEMPTED to encrypt the phone through
the setting "encrypt device" and I chose full encryption. The phone then wouldn't boot, it would only let me go into recovery, So I wiped the
phone with the intention of using a backup of the STOCK OS. After I wiped the phone it now won't let me boot into recovery to flash anything.
Current situation:
When I attempt to switch on the device: Custom binary blocked by FRP lock (small red writing on the top left)
When I attempt to boot into the recovery: Recovery is not seandroid enforcing (small red writing on the top left)
When I boot into download mode: It works and ODIN recognizes the device
Download mode information on screen reads:
ODIN MODE
DOWNLOAD SPEED: FAST
PRODUCT NAME: SM-G935F
Current Binary: Custom
System Status: Custom
FRP LOCK: ON
Secure Download: Enabled
Warranty Void: 1 (0x020c)
RP SWREV: B:1 K:0 S:0
I have already tried installing a stock ROM using ODIN and setting the phone into download mode, I get this error:
<ID:0/004> Odin engine v(ID:3.1101)..
<ID:0/004> File analysis..
<ID:0/004> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/004> Initialzation..
<ID:0/004> Set PIT file..
<ID:0/004> DO NOT TURN OFF TARGET!!
<ID:0/004> FAIL!
<ID:0/004>
<ID:0/004> Re-Partition operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
On screen: Secure check fail : (PIT)
Where do I go from here? Now I just have a very expensive brick. Is there a solution to this? PLS HELP
My preferred outcome is reverting the phone to stock OS, I just want it working again.
Try flashing your phone with the firmware from:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/how-to/official-stock-firmware-update-odin-t3335065
Follow the steps.
Do not tick "Re-Partition".

If you flash latest firmware from Aug 16 you WON'T BE ABLE TO ROOT OR FLASH TWRP!
CF-AUTOROOT needs to be updated as well as TWRP.
If you just want to return to Stock and not root you won't have to worry about it then follow that thread that was provided for you.

 thanks guys, I'd been scouring forums for days trying to figure out what to do. I should've made a post earlier. Thank you very much. My phone is now working perfectly!
Is there a way to reset the knox counter and un-void the warrenty?
Nope

Meanwhile I have installed TWRP recovery via odin, and it worked (for the first time... i've tried before but no way...). The download of the firmware was not completed so I left the phone on in twrp mode... bad idea ! The battery was low... and now, I can't turn it on and I can't understand if it's charging or not.
So sad

Hi Trex888,
here I am... but unfortunately it doesn't work:
Odin says :
<ID:0/003> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/003> Initialzation..
<ID:0/003> Set PIT file..
<ID:0/003> DO NOT TURN OFF TARGET!!
<ID:0/003> FAIL!
<ID:0/003>
<ID:0/003> Re-Partition operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
I put every file in the good case (AP in AP etc..) and even Pit file in pit case... On option tab i've selected re-partition and F-reset time.
On my phone I can see that :
UDC start
Odin: flash read failure
Error: there is no pit binary.
It's not good for me ?
Thanks
Cat
Another thing... it's not important but i've bought this phone on ebay. Today i've tried to check the imei of my GN4 (SM-N910F) and this is what i can see on imei.info :
G900P Galaxy S5 (Sprint) (SM-N910F)
it's strange... why it says G900P ? I know the differences between GN4 and S5... it's a GN4 for sure
Thanks,
Cat
