So long story short I'm trying to return to stock rom after using triforce, it was fun but I can't get the few "bloatwear" I actually use to install or work. (Exp.Sbeam, Snote) so each time ether it be odin, twrp, Phillis I get a message saying failed to install. On start up I get a message about know my kernel isn't correct and on odin download I have write protection enabled along with eMMc enabled. I've tried triangle away but it only reset my counter. And if I try any other rom it fails. Is there hope for me? And will you guild me out of this rutt?
Could you show us the Odin error you get?

Based on your screen shot, I'm going to assume that you're not trying to Odin NAE. Download the NAE tar and you should be good to go.

I'll Give the NAE a shot thank you (sorry for the late reply work has been killing me for the last few months)

Hy, I own an S5 G900F. I flashed a stock rom latest version then my S5 root before flashing a rom Omega 2. Everything worked perfectly until I decided to change my sdcard having taken care to move all the files present on my old sd card on news.
At start of my S5 nothing worked, I have the screen that lights up with the SAMSUNG GALAXY S5 logo, powered by ANDROID but the top right I have the following message in red: kernel is not enforced seandroid and yellow: set warranty bit kernel.
I can not switch to recovery since disappeared, I just can enter download mode.
With odin so I tried to flash my S5 with stock rom (XEF-G900FXXU1ANE2-20140519102224).
Here is the odin message when I load this rom:
Enter CS for MD5 ..
Check MD5 .. Do not unplug the cable ..
Please wait ..
900FXXU1ANE2_G900FOXX1AND3_G900FXXU1ANE2_HOME.tar. md5 is valid.
Checking MD5 finished Sucessfully
..
Leave CS.
My S5 is well recognized by odin, it tells me blue com port 3 and
Added!
Top right of the screen of my S5 I have these messages:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT-NAME: SM-G900F
CURRENT BINARY: CUSTOM
SYSTEM STATUS: OFFICIAL
LOCK REACTIVATION (KK): OFF
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x1 (4)
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE (CBS)
SWREV RP: S1, T1, R1, A1, P1
UDC: START
I run flash with odin:
Odin v.3 engine (ID: 3) ..
File analysis ..
SetupConnection ..
Initialzation ..
Get PIT for mapping ..
There is no PIT partition.
All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
The flash stops with S5 on the screen messages:
MMC: mmc_read fail
ODIN: flash read failure
I do not know what to do! Is it a hardware brick or a simple software problem??
Thank you for trying to help me if it is possible. I hope to have been clear
best regards,
Sorry for my english, this is a google translation
[Q] Bricked or not ? MMC: mmc_read fail. I'm afraid !
I have been trying to root my note 3 SM-N900 for several hours today and I am getting quite frustrated.
dropbox.com /s/tmwphjs3muyhad9/tempFileForShare_2015-09-09-17-41-40.jpg?dl=0[/IMG]
Here are the steps I have followed.
Enabled USB debugging.
Started Downloaded mode & connected to oden.
Tried to flash CMW recovery (ticked only "F.Reset Time" checkbox & added cmw file to AP).
Product name:SM-N900
Current Binary: Samsung Official
System Status: Official
Reactivation Lock(KK) : ON
Secure Download : Enabled
KNOX Warranty void : 0

The program shows this:

<ID:0/003> FAIL!

Any ideas? Am I using the wrong Odin version? Or am I downloading the wrong recovery file ? Is my phone too up-to-date to be rooted? Any help is appreciated.Thanks.

Thanks, but how can I do that?
I can't remember. Try google. Somewhere in the setting
Thanks
Thanks Rosli59564. Successfully rooted.
got a little overzealous with some settings and made it so my phone doesn't boot past the Verizon screen. I wiped cache and didn't help, factory reset, didn't work. Tried to flash back to 0k3, finally tried to flash back to pb1. When I try pb1, it hangs at the samsung animation and when I go into recovery mode it still says system recovery is 0k3. Every rom I try to flash does not change that so I dont think my falshes are actually flashing. I'm using odin 3.10. I really just want a complete clean re-install, but cant seem to figure out how to get that to work. It's probably something very easy, but I cant find a thread that sounds 100% similar
So everything during Odin flashes looks normal, but it still doesn't take? This is very strange behavior.
Try using another USB cable/port, and if you have access to one, another computer.
Odin logs? Screenshots? Not really enough information. Maybe find a new .tar.md5?
Everything looks like it flashes normal. I've used the same files on a different device with same files and hardware and that's worked fine. It passes but when I reboot to softloader it's still ok3

Its not something I've ever set and I don thave an account with Samsung. Would Odin report a "Passed" flash if it were set? I guess I'm screwed if it did get activated somehow, right?

Will I still be able to root with stock pd1?
What is your CID? 15 or 11
Having trouble getting adb commands to work. Can only seem to get it recognized if I go into "apply update from ADB" and then its only sideloaded and flashboot just "waits for device." is their another way I can get that info without being able to boot the device up fully?

Okay, so download finished and I applied it, had to reboot several times but it did come up and is now on PD1. So I guess now my question is there a way to root right from where I am, or do I have to downgrade

Meanwhile I have installed TWRP recovery via odin, and it worked (for the first time... i've tried before but no way...). The download of the firmware was not completed so I left the phone on in twrp mode... bad idea ! The battery was low... and now, I can't turn it on and I can't understand if it's charging or not.
So sad

Unfortunately I don't have another GN4 nor a desktop charger (but maybe l'll buy it tomorrow...). So, wait and see...
By the way, thank you so much for your help I'll tell you tomorrow if it works or not

Hi Trex888,
here I am... but unfortunately it doesn't work:
Odin says :
<ID:0/003> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/003> Initialzation..
<ID:0/003> Set PIT file..
<ID:0/003> DO NOT TURN OFF TARGET!!
<ID:0/003> FAIL!
<ID:0/003>
<ID:0/003> Re-Partition operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
I put every file in the good case (AP in AP etc..) and even Pit file in pit case... On option tab i've selected re-partition and F-reset time.
On my phone I can see that :
UDC start
Odin: flash read failure
Error: there is no pit binary.
It's not good for me ?
Thanks
Cat
Another thing... it's not important but i've bought this phone on ebay. Today i've tried to check the imei of my GN4 (SM-N910F) and this is what i can see on imei.info :
G900P Galaxy S5 (Sprint) (SM-N910F)
it's strange... why it says G900P ? I know the differences between GN4 and S5... it's a GN4 for sure
Thanks,
Cat
