Nexus 7 2012 Hard brick after downgrade? - Nexus 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys! I come now to the point ..
I bought the Nexus 7 WiFi only for in-car use .. When I received it, had the CyanogenMod 12.1! so I decided to install the rom AUTODROID 1.2! I downloaded the ROM, install the .zip TWRP (latest version) and so I had a bootloop .. Restore backup done previously with TWRP! I am looking online and I see that making the dowgrade from lollipop kitkat, first I had to flash the rom original KitKat!
ADB and fastboot drain, drain the "ROM" (the right one for the Nexus 7 2012 wifi), reboot into fastboot mode and do the command .bat adb .. but something went wrong
"Fastboot.exe stopped working"
From here you have begun problems: recovery is no longer accessible, and restart I always brought to the fastboot mode! I had the bright idea to turn off the tablet ...
From here .. Black screen, fastboot mode is not available, recovery is not available, so I can not even give commands ADB .. When the connection to the tablet pc, windows gives me input connection, but during the driver installation I give me the error "Unknown Device" ..
I do not know what to do .. Can you help?

You could try using the nexus root toolkit ( wugfresh NRT ) to fix your nexus

[Q] Unable to Boot, Unable to mount sd, brick?

Hi,
i unrooted, unlocked and installes cwn via nexus 7 utility tool 4.0 and flashed the stock 4.2.1 rom. after reboot the nexus 7 get stuck in the bootloader. if i try to boot via"start" button it says "unable to boot" in the upper left corner. booting into bootloader mode works. booting into recovery mode works too, but the nexus 7 is unable to mount the sd card, the cache and so on. i tryed to reflash the stockrom with the nexus tool but when it says"all done, the nexus will now reboot" nothing happen. i tryed to reflash stock rom with the instruction in this section with adb and fastboot. it get stuck after giving the first command to reboot into fastboot. what can i do to get the nexus to work?
Have you tried the sideload command? Select 'install zip from sideload' when connected to your computer, and from cmd on your computer type adb sideload rom-name.zip

[Q] nexus 7 unbricking

I had flashed cm 10 to my nexus 7 . had some issues so i flashed the stock rom via nexus 7 tool kit. Now it'd not booting
It's stuck on the nexus logo. Guess this is what you call a boot loop. I tried to get into recovery from fast boot.. When i select recovery
Its crashing. I tried to flash a new recovery. But it seems that my usb USB debugging has gone off.
Can anybody please help me. I've searched aloot. It would be reallyappreciated.

Have you tried using fastboot flash recovery <downloaded recovery>? If not, full stop, go search for a downloadable recovery for your version of the Nexus 7, and try that.
You're also a long, long way from being bricked, so don't use "brick" as a search term.

Hi, rolehommie...
If can you still access the bootloader, you're just softbricked (not hardbricked). You're just bootlooping.
Download a recovery (CWM/TWRP) to your computer, hook it up to your N7 via USB... boot the tablet into the bootloader (from power off, VolDown+PowerOn), then flash the recovery.img as per @Rirere's instructions.
Fastboot doesn't need USB debugging enabled.
(USB debugging is only needed for ADB commands when Android is fully booted.)
All you need is fastboot flash recovery <name-of-recovery.img>
Good luck.
Rgrds,
Ged.

I know you got some blood answers above but you could try using wugfresh toolkit....very easy
Download the Nexus 7 4.2.2 factory package and unzip the contents to your ADB/Fastboot directory. Start > Run > CMD > cd (your directory) e.g. "cd c:/platform-tools" > "flash-all.bat" will flash all factory images including the recovery, system and data.
Thank you very very much for all your advice . but i tried flashing a new recovery. The problem is my computer is not getting connected to the device. I tried flashing a new recovery using nexus 7 tool kit . but the kit itself is not connecting to my device.
This is the issue . i appreciate everybody's reply .

Seems you don't have the proper driver installed on your computer.
http://d-h.st/kDu
Download File > Unzip > Control Panel > Device Manager > Nexus 7 Update Driver > Browser Computer > Select Folder > Install.

I would start by dropping the toolkit, installing the drivers and learning a little bit.

Make sure to use the USB ports that go directly to motherboard, if you choose to do manually(no toolkit) just keep asking questions if run into problems there's all the help you need here! Good luck!!

Cannot use Adb/fastboot commands on Nexus 7 (2012)

I Softbricked my nexus 7 a while back its now in a bootloop. I am running Cyanogenmod 10.0 (I believe), Rooted and running ClockworkMod Recovery, and am NOT USB Debugging Enabled. Now attempting to reflash Nakasi JZO54K (4.1.2) to soft-bricked Nexus 7 via fastboot.
I'm trying to access my nexus 7 (2012) via adb command prompts will not recognize my android device - serials do not appear when "adb devices" is typed.
I am currently following Comminus's flashing guide. When I go to device manager in windows, the android device is named "grouper" rather than "android" as I have seen before.
I don't think the root toolkit will solve this because I don't think I can even send commands to the device at this point.
Please help someone...I really don't know where else to look for help about this.
adb commands don't work in fastboot. Only fastboot commands work in fastboot.
Download the factory image from Google, extract, and run the flash all batch script while your N7 is connected in fastboot mode.

[Q] [HELP!] Nexus 4 - No OS Installed + Phone doesn't get recognised.

Ok, guys. I tried every option on every forum and none of them worked so here I am.
I unlocked and rooted my nexus 4 using the Wugfresh toolkit v 1.9.3. Everything worked perfectly until I tried to flash Cyanhacker ROM and kernel at the same time. I factory reset my phone before doing that (wiped dalvik/cache etc.). In TWRP, it said everything was successful, however I got stuck in a bootloop and when I tried to factory reset again, I accidently wiped my OS as well (i know... i am a retard:cyclops. Now I can only go in fastboot and TWRP.Now, I tried to use Wugfresh toolkit to Flash Stock + Unroot while being in fastboot, but it states that "Fastboot device was not found". Suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
First of all check you have fastboot driver install for your Nexus 4.
After that, you can try to reboot again in bootloader and from fastboot command line write "fastboot devices".
If your device appear you can reimage your stock image.
If you could load TRWP recovery, from it you can use install from sideload to "reinstall" again the original or modify custom rom.
That's the problem, when I connect my phone to my PC, nothing happens. When i try to open device manager I dont see my phone or the Android ADB Interface.
it happened to me last week, use usbdeview (easily googled) to uninstall all your android related driver from it, don't forget to check the driver properties to delete the inf file also.
restart your pc and search then install universaladb driver (do some googley again) then try again. though last week my side here had to reinstall my xp from scratch to get mine working but i hope you aren't.

Now, my tablet won't boot past the Google screen(with lock icon) . What should I do? Little freaked out here...Appreciate your help!

This is the Nexus 7 2012 forum, go on the N7 2013 forum with your question. I'd suggest flashing TWRP via fastboot (get minimal adb and fastboot from xda). Then just flash a custom ROM or flash stock images yourself. Not rooting broke it but probably the stock image didn't get flashed properly.
