I have a blu life pure xl and i want to re-flash the stock ROM. I followed all the steps for flashing an stock rom with the gnqc, but when I'm going to do that, the tool gets stuck in "entering bp download mode" How can I fix it?
Try to remove check phone
i dont know but somehow i manually went in bp download mode or something
i was trying to flash stock rom in Gionee Elife E7 32 gb, but unable to do it. So today i tried again but this time i connected my phone in switch off mode to pc by holding "Volume +" and it stuck at logo. Then after sometime i tried to restart my phone by holding power button untill the logo disappeared and somehow i was in bp download mode.
Installed Drivers Of Qualicom Driver v1.1.0.0.
Used GNQC Download Tool v1.6.9.0

Hi guys,
Long-time phone rooter/XDA reader, first time posting.
It seems I have finally come across a problem I can't fix by insane amounts of googling and trial&error.
I am currently on some Kitkat custom ROM variant with CWM 6.0.4.4
I'm looking to get back to stock, but my download mode refuses to open. Its stuck at the blue dots screen. (attached picture for clarity)
I've let it sit there overnight, with no change.
I've attempted to use the LGMobile Tool (even this method), but when it reboots my phone, the phone sits on the "LG" screen, and the LG tool eventually errors out ("communication error").
Recently, I managed to back myself into a corner after (incredibly idiotically) accepting an OWA, when my recovery was corrupt, and my download mode would not even open then - and i had to use some bizarre method of commands in Linux to be able to get TWRP on, then flashed CWM and them my ROM.
So what can I do now? I'm assuming my download mode is corrupt - is there a way to flash a good download mode onto the phone?
Any thoughts/input greatly appreciated.
edit:
Ok looks like I have understimated myself.
I used THIS tool to extract my KDZ, to get the LAF file (then renamed it to laf.img)
I then used the instructions from HERE to flash to the correct place.
It did not reboot into download like the thread said it would, but I did a manual download mode entry (while off, hold Volume Up + insert USB) and viola!
I am now currently using the LGMobile tool to go back to stock

Hey thanks for the post. My download mode will not go past the 5 blue dots screen. I am trying to return to stock but I get the same download mode error. I am rooted and have TWRP installed. This download mode error has happened before. I fixed it by flashing CM and then going into download mode and it worked! But my TWRP is getting an error when installing any rom. It fails and installation and says error executing updater binary. I just need to fix download mode or TWRP. Any help would be great.
Did you already have recovery installed when you were stuck at the 5 dots download mode screen?
How to Connect in ADB ?

Hi, I just bought an LG G2 D802 20B Model a couple days ago, yesterday I wanted to downgrade to 4.2.2 and I ended up bricking the phone.
The phone is non rooted, doesn't have any custom recovery, and not recognized by adb even though i installed all the drivers ( koush drivers, PdaNet, Lg drivers ...)
At first I flashed with .kdz file and it ended in bootloop, I tried to factory reset but it doesnt have any effects with the stock recovery it only shows the green android bot and blue progress bar and then restart in 3 seconds and reboots to lg logo and start looping.. After a restart the download mode didn't work anymore it showed me fastboot error, I searched for the tutorial that actually worked and I flashed with .tot method but there is still bootloop and the download mode is stuck at the image attached. The phone is not recognized by neither windows or ubuntu therefore I can't use adb to fix the partitions.
Can any body provide me with a solution? The phone is still new and it will be a shame if its transformed to a brick in 3 days :crying:

Thanks for your reply, however the phone is not recognized on windows neither on ubuntu therefore this tutorial can't help ...
I am in the exact same situation.
Mine is a D802 32GB Hong Kong model. I stupidly ran AutoRec which soft-bricked my phone. Managed to get Download Mode working, then flashed 20C and 20B which bootlooped. Then I attempted to flash 10B, which got me into this exact state:
Download Mode not working (only shows "Download Mode", does not go to firmware recovery screen, not detected in Win/Linux)
Factory reset (Power + Vol Down) can go to factory reset screen, after factory reset, still bootloop.
Once in a while, I also get the Android icon which then disappears after a few seconds and goes to LG logo again.
If I plug the phone in and do a factory reset, Windows detects the LGE AndroidNet modem, and Linux will detect cdc_acm USB Abstract Control Model driver. Flash Tool and LG Mobile Support seems to detect the phone and attempt to flash, but the phone restarts after a short while.
I have no idea what else to do
Hi,
I tried to install Grola Rom on my phone and unfortunately I think that I may have flashed the ROM for the D802 (I tried to find a faster DL than the FShare link).
My phone is now stuck in Fastboot Mode. I've tried every method to try to get my phone back into regular working condition, but my laptop does not recognize my phone. No matter which driver I install, it shows up as Android in device manager and ADB devices and Fastboot devices shows up nothing.
I was able to get it to boot into download mode for about two seconds before it boots itself back into download mode immediately.
I've tried accessing recovery and download mode, but nothing works.
How would I either get back to recovery or at the very least back to download mode so I can go back to stock?
Thanks,
mjoecarroll
Edit: When I boot up it just says Fastboot Started.
When I plug it in, it says:
--reset--
--portchange--
--reset--
--portchange--
Same problem did you fix it?
So my friend messed up his zuk z2 plus by flashing zui 4.0 and gave it to me to fix it
On boot it showed encryption unsuccessfull
I tried booting in the recovery and fastboot but it couldn't boot
The device was f**ked up
So i did some research and came across a thread from [email protected] about booting in EDL mode
EDL is emergency download mode
Now to boot into EDL you should power off the device
hold volume up button for 15 second
After 15 second cilck the power button (instant click like you do for going on lock screen 0.5sec) (don't leave volume key)
Now press and hold power button and instantly insert USB cable (insert during device vibrates)
If ( u did it right ){
the zuk logo should blink and disappear and you will be in EDL mode
}else{
your device will boot normally
}
Now you can flash stock rom using mi flash tool
You will need to download qpst version of ROM for flashing
You need to install right drivers for flashing via mi flash tool
I tried using QPST/QFIL but it gave some error
I hope this article helpful
Video will be out soon on : https://youtube.com/rohanparab459
so last night i decided to flash ÆON kernel on my h-rom s20 port and after flashing it and booting it was stuck at the boot logo so i tried going back to my recovery and it boot looped so i went in download mode and decided to flash twrp again but odin was stuck at setting up connection so i asked bout it in another place and they told me to flash stock rom so i tried that and it failed then i tried to reboot and instead of boot logo i saw this
"an error has occurred while updating the device software. use the emergency recovery function in the smart switch pc software."
so i did that and since it was custom rom suprise suprise it said unsupported device
all i need from this phone now is my data
