3 threads about the same.
It's not the recovery that is the issue. If you want recovery go stock. If you want screen cast go tw based.
How come cast screen works with stock and not CM. Is there really no work around? I don't want to revert to TW just because of this.

Search on temaseks thread for rom. There were people asking for the same. Because cm is not tw. They don't support tw.

Oh, here you go i found this, however i have am not sure if it will work on stock though. I would think the Odexed version would work. I would make a nandroid backup though just in case.

Edit: Wait i didnt see you had stock recovery. You would have to flash CWM or TWRP recovery to be able to flash this zip. I dont think you can get tablet UI in 4.2 anymore with DPI changes.
You can try with an alternative launcher Like apex or nova launchers

I thought it's not possible to have a tablet UI in 4.2.x because Google unified the tablet/phone interface.

I don't think stock android has tablet mode anymore. Paranoid is working just fine. I use Tablet-Mid.

From what I heard Screen Mirroring doesnt funcion well or at all for 4.4.2 custom kernels. That rom might have a custom Kernel included. You can flash stock 4.4.2 Kernel see if it works with your ROM. and screen mirroring might work.
Can you link me the thread page for this Custom ROM?

Well, i was so stupid to flash the new stock 4.4 TW rom just to try it but after reading some topics it seems i am stuck on tw for now and can not go back to cm11.
How far are the developers on getting an AOSP running on the new bootloader? Or has anyone managed to go back to the 4.3 bootloader?
or is it possible to use the stock 4.4.2 kernel on cm11 and solve this problem that way for now?

I rooted my sprint note 3 today and installed the AICP lollipop ROM. Before I installed this I backed up my stock ROM. When I tried to restore the stock ROM, it boots up to a black screen and a pop up shows up for nearly all of my apps that says they are not responding so all I get is that and a black screen. Is this because I went from a 5.0 ROM to a 4.4.4 one? Is there any way to get my stock ROM working again ? I'm using TWRP on a Sprint Note 3 SM-N900P. All help would be much appreciated.

Does it? I haven't gotten confirmation in my searches and want to be sure before I flash the rom. Thanks
I was wondering if there is a way to skip track with the volume keys without having Xposed installed because I am using stock rom and framwork get my phone stuck on boot. I am rotted etc so if there is anything I| could flash it would be appreciated.
A custom rom.
All Cyanogenmod roms have this feature.
There's a GPE rom with this feature.
And the TW custom roms might have this feature too. You'll have to ask in the TW custom rom threads.
Other than that, Xposed is the only option.

I am using TWRP 2.5.0.0, I created a backup before I flashed the new ROM but when it would get stuck on boot screen with the new ROM I tried to restore the backup but then that also got stuck at boot screen. So reinstalled the stock ROM that fixed it but, still no luck with any ROMS.
