GT P7510 Wireless N Connectivity Using US ICS Stock 4.0.4

Updated to 4.0.4 using OTA last week. I immediately noticed that wireless networking scan does not detect my wireless N ap. Anybody here experiencing the same thing? I am rooted but this issue started even before I rooted the updated ICS 4.0.4.

Hi jayc.
I know just about nothing about wireless, so a question for you.
Is wireless N for the 5Ghz band?
If it is, the 5Ghz band isn't enabled in ICS for some reason.
There's a file that needs to be edited to enable it.
I see your tab is rooted, so:
1. Navigate to /system/etc/wifi/2. Open nvram_net.txt and change the ccode from GB to ALL. 3. Save 4. Reboot
I made a thread about this here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1846766

It's not enabled because it's a recycled Great Britain (UK) build where 5GHz is not allowed. That's why you got to mod the nvram_net.txt.

Hi, seems as there is an issue between router and device
Try changing your mac adress on device
then try removing security to open (just for testing) on router, and see if it connects then

T-Mobile tethering question. 7.0

What does adding the "tether_dun_required 0" do exactly? I've modified the buildprop and modified the APN to add "dun" but in Android 7.0 there is no settings file so the dun mod doesn't get done.
