[Q] Galaxy S4 Kill App Menu Button - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I just installed OmegaROM v42 which 5.0.1 on my Galaxy S4 i9505 and I'm really missing the hold menu button to kill app feature.
How can I enable this again?

you can do it by installing Xposed Framework from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3113463
After installing Xposed Install Wanam Xposed Lollipop Module and activate the module, Now open the wanam app from app drawer Goto system and check Long BACK Kills App And reboot.
Enjoy

Enable Softkeys on I9500

I am running King cobra Rom 4.3 with mj9 base and I want to enable on screen softkeys. I already tried the build prop method but it crashes the system ui. I've read somewhere that samsung removed the necessary framework for this.. Any other way to enable them?

[Q] xposed and modules

Hi Guys,
I am using Verizon S5 rooted with Xposed installed along with two modules SwipeBack and Wanam with root rights granted. I am able to go into both modules and configure settings and etc., but nothing happens. The modules are checked off in Xposed.
Anything I missed? Much appreciated.

Did you install the xposed framework on the first tab in the program? it won't do anything even if they're enabled if the xposed framework isn't installed. It installs xposedbridge.jar and appprocess.jar i think.

[Q] Lockscreen Rotation 900T Stock Rooted

Hey I recently tried out Goldie's AllianceRom for the S5 and it had lockscreen rotation enabled. But I decided to go back to stock rooted NK2 with Xposed. Is there a module out there or a tweak that can enable rotation on a stock lockscreen, or does that require framework modificaiton? I tried with Wanam and the option there, but that doesn't work.

You can do this with gravitybox.

Hmm, ok. I thought Gravity Box was for AOSP, not Touchwiz.

I did too, was extremely confused why people kept using it even though it suggested against it, most of the mods work though. As with everything be careful.

Google.
apparentlty xposed isn't compatible with Samsung phone using Android 5.0
Have you asked on the xposed forum ??
I'm also looking for a way to hide my root from specific application.
I already "googled" it as Dejan Sathanas suggest, and solutions like temporary disable root are not good for me.
Thanks,
Look for app Magisk for hide root

Search and you will find working Xposed. I had used Arter's Xposed version (number I forgot).
I used Xposed with 5.0 AryaMod (stock based ROM) for more than 1.5years.
And then install Rootcloak and things should be fine.

I tried this once. Magisk then systemless xposed, it only got me in boot loop. Have you tried it yourself?

The OP clearly say "rooted with chainfire root", so how can you advice on Magisk?
