[Q] xolo 8x 1000 bricked

hey folks..
today i tried to root my xolo 8x 1000..
with sp flash tools i tried to flash TWRP recovery
something went wrong..
and my mobile is not turning on..
i tried to flash again.
but when im trying to connect my mobile to my pc
it is saying that
"usb not recognized"
please help me

Don't worry. Just charge your device overnight and then switch it on. Same thing happend to me and I ran to service center to get it fixed where it was just not charged :silly:
Just do it and follow this guide to root Xolo Hive 8x-1000 How to Root Xolo Hive

Hi ,,i am having the same problem ,,,,when i try to plug the phone it gives usb not recognized ,,,so are you sure its only a charging problem as my phone was 85% charged when this problem happened ,,,kindly advice me

Problem is with USB Port change the port/USB Cable and try again and root now without PC using "kingroot.apk" make sure to turn off wifi/data before rooting. Thanks to @bgos10 for this method.

but its not turning on or charging ,,,,its completely dead and when i plug the usb it immediately gives usb not recognized

but its completely dead and not charging at all and when i plug the usb it immediately gives usb not recognized<<<and i tried it on 2 different pc with different os

Bricked xolo 8x 1000.....
i just cleaned 1st rom & tried to install HIVE rom again,it said installation aborted...
So i just rebooted my phone
the problem is now i haven't any rom or OS in phone,so it just cant start and can't do anything...
I got my mistake and problem, but is there any chance to get my phone back???????

8x 1000 recovery
At first download clockword recovery from xda for xolo 8x 1000
Pur the downloaded file in memory card , not in any folder
Then download mobile uncle tool and install clock word recovery mode
It will change ur recovery mod . then download stock ROM of xolo 8x 1000 from xda
Go to ur phone recovery page install the xolo8x 1000 stock ROM from ur memory card and then switch on ur phone it will work.:good:

2) after that install the adb drivers try to install from varioussite
3) now take the mobile when the battery is fully drained
4) charge it for 10minutes or 15min
5) after download the so tool and firmwaxdafor xxda
6) now follow the procedure given by xda
7) do not connect the mobile to PC ,connect it after pressing the download button
8)remember device should charged for 10 to 15 minutes

good day, pls my infinix zero, which is a xolo 8x 1000 clone is bricked, long story, i used sp tool, clicked download, plugged in phone, pressed volume, and then the download was 100%, but got a message cant remember the message. tried flashing again with same method but no response. currently the phone does not charge, cant come on, no recovery mode, the only thing is wen plugged to pc, i hear that usb device soun. and i can find the VCOM port stuff in device manager, please i need help

I have xolo 8x 1000
so i was trying to flash a stock rom on my xolo
but unfortunately I selected wrong scatter file ie MIcromax a117
then sp flash tool started & red progress bar with 100% appeared then it stopped
and my xolo bricked
but then I selected the correct scatter file now when I am trying to flash it sp flash wont detect at all I mean I wont startup even though my pc alerts me that a device is connected
as vcom driver my phone is connected but I am not getting what to do plzz help me

Hello, you can get the rom including scatter file from Needrom! Just flash trough sp tool and you will be fine.

Well, this was about another situation, but mixing with ROM's cooking I was able to brick it again it was mrsim who help me (mod at china-devices.com, credit where is due). But I will tell you how I did it.
You need to have the adb android drivers installed and flashtool v5.1 or up (the one I used, but some people use the 3.1 version).
Download this ROM from needrom (scatter file compatible with FT).

Extract, and in flashtools select the scatter file inside the directory you extracted. Press flash, and (after pressing flash) connect the phone to the USB port holding the volume down key (so the phone connects in META mode), and the process should begin.
If all works well after flashing the phone should boot the new ROM, its version 3.01 so you have to upgrade it.
If that does not work, tell me a few things... I suppose the phone does not start or appear the 'Zero' logo, but tell me if when you connect it to the computer you ear the normal plugin USB sound?

i managed to get into twrp again.
so that must be good...after. the battery died..;.butr mtk preloader doesnt instal;l

i managed to bioot the device in emui !!!! this morning..i could acces twrp. pressing volume down when connected to pc ..and the chinesse recovery pressing volume up ... rootjoy cant flash the device as it sais it is unsupported, now...i reeallly need to know the steps for going back to stock

i am running antarct s emui . with twrp recovery... i need dto know the sp flash tools steps correctly to flash back to stock
preloader doesnt install correctly in pc because volume down...takes me to twrp...and volume up...to the chinesse recovery of huawei,
so preloader starts installing, but when in recovery..it gets dissconected

Could you tell how did you put it in meta mode? I have a Zero with no preloader and in windows it shows up as unknown device. No matter how I try to boot it up (vol- vol+). Other than showing in windows, it's dead. Is there a way to revive ti?

reading on some onlines tutorials, i made a stupid move. i did a format (auto format flash - format whole flash except bootloader). the sp tool said succees.
then, my phone dead, even the red charging light not working. cannot turn on, cnt enter recovery..just DEAD.
to make the senario worst, now my windows not detecting the phone (UNKNOWN DEVICE)
did googled for solution, but cnt find any..what can i do now.thanks in advance

for those who having the same prob, here is the solution...
ONLY FOR ZTE BLADE Qlux 4G...........DO NOT TRY THIS ON 3G VERSION...U WILL NEED 3G VERSION FOR THAT....
sorry, i just found solution on russian firmware....but u can still change the language during setup..

3. In the window that opens, click the Scatter-loading (on the right side of the program).

5. Make sure that the Flash Tool automatically put down the boxes next to all the firmware files. (Picture attached for manual upolad &reference)
6. Click the Download button in the Flash Tool.
7. Turn off your phone, then remove and reinsert the battery. (In our case, its already off, so u can skip this step)

hi kavinraj88...thank for this stock rom but I have issues with intrnel storage running out...before I flash this stock rom I only have 2 storage that mean internel storage n sd card...but after flash this rom I have 3 storage, internel, phone storage n sd card...all my apps can't move to sd card its install to internet storage that only have 1gb...what can I do to solve this problem?

yeah..im too having 1gb plus internal memory..but im onlu having 2 storage option
1. internal / phone starage
2. external/sd card.
i cant help u in this issue..i just able to give live to the phone..mayb this march i will do some research on that since im quite buzy right now..any progress i will let u know..

Recovery from pdanet worked. But sdcard0 is not detecting.
Anyways thanks for taking your time to upload file.

The phone went brick for some weird reason, tried flashing as instructed and the phone is back again
Unfortunately the imei seems to be missing (can't even detect my simcards)
Anyway I can restore them back?

yes..u can use Maui META Tool or MTK Engineer Mode (play store)..both works...btw, im not using the phone anymore...sold it..

Wiped 'System' while flashing CM and now stuck on 'Cyanogen Fastboot Mode' screen?
What's even worse, is that, you didn't enable USB Debugging!
This guide is for you! Read On!​
Yes, you guessed it right! You can get your soft-bricked Yunique up and alive, and I did this too, so I guess this is the only method that works.
Some things before we start:
This guide is tested to work on YUNIQUE ONLY, and not any other devices. Try any other devices at your own risk.
This guide shall work only if your phone starts up and shows that ugly Fastboot screen. If the device doesn't show any signs of starting, get it to the service center.
Don't lodge an FIR on me if this doesn't work for you. Maybe you're not following the steps correctly, or you just aren't lucky.
Requisites:
Stock Firmware Zip: HERE
Qualcomm Drivers: HERE
Windows PC
Original/Good Quality USB Cable (else writing speed will be very slow and could even be interrupted).
The phone (Fully Charged. Since you can't see the battery level, I suggest you to plug it in for 2-3 hours to ensure enough battery for the process)
Patience
Now comes the real part. I've divided the procedure into two parts to make it easy for you. First, go through the entire post, then proceed.
Part 1- BACKSTAGE WORKS:
The file you will download has no extension (null extension) so you need to add the zip extension (.zip) at the end of the filename by renaming it. Only then it will be extractable. So go ahead and extract it.
Run the 'setup' from inside the 'Driver' folder inside the folder that you just extracted. Let it instal the drivers, then Restart your computer. Restarting is necessary.
Extract the 'QualcommDrv.zip' (Qualcomm Drivers Zip). Depending on your architecture, instal the driver by running either 'dpinst32.exe' or 'dpinst64.exe' which can be found inside 'Allx86' and 'Allx64' folders respectively.
Get your phone into that Fastboot screen by holding down Volume Up + Power button for 7-10 seconds.
Part 2- DAMN YOU, BRICK:
Run 'ets.startrun.exe' fron inside the 'HQXA CustomerDL EMMC V1.15 150706' folder.
While in fastboot mode, connect the phone to your computer.
Now in the ETS Flasher window, click on the USB Button (Butterfly Icon). This should open up a list of all interface ports and devices connected to them. Look under the 'DevDesc' field for your phone. It should be mentioned as 'Android Bootloader Interface' or 'Android Composite Hardware' or 'QCOM Interface'. Take a note of the port number in the format 'USB_XYZ' (like USB_202) because you shall need the port number. To find your device easily, remove all other USB devices till you're done unbricking.
Close the USB Device Manager window and get back to the ETS Flasher window. Hit the 'Set' button (beside the Butterfly Icon). Set 'Download Mode' to 'EmergencyDownload'. Now click on 'Change Path' and select the 'Firmware' folder found inside the extracted ROM Zip.
Under 'Port Settings', Select the port number you took a note of in the previous step, and make sure every other 'Thrd' box is set to NULL. Click 'Ok' to get back to the main window. Let it load the directory completely.
After the directory is loaded, push your phone into 'Download Mode' by pressing and holding all three physical buttons- VOLUME UP + POWER + VOLUME DOWN together for some time. The phone shall reboot into 'Cyanogen Download Mode'.
Once the 'Download Mode' screen appears, Press VOLUME UP to confirm. The screen shall now go blank and your computer should detect the device.
If your phone is detected by ETS Flasher, your phone should appear across the selected port. The 'Item' name should read 'sahara download mode' and 'P/F' should change to 'READY' from 'NO PHONE'. If you can't see these, it means your drivers are not properly installed. See the troubleshooting at the end of this post.
Now hit 'Start All' button and wait till the progress bar goes from zero all the way upto 100%. In my case, it took 7 minutes and 15 seconds to flash the phone, but it may vary.
After it has flashed your phone completely, your phone should restart automatically. Done! Mission Accomplished!
Troubleshooting:
Phone doesn't reboot into Download Mode: Try a normal force rebbot first, by holding the power button for some seconds. After you feel a slight vibration, try to get into Download Mode and it should work.
Phone is not detected in ETS Flash window: Follow these steps.
Flashing stops in between, doesn't complete: The USB Port of your computer might have loose plates. Try changing to a different port and retry.

Stock rom
Currently I am using this cm13 rom. There are some bugs
1. I am unable to transfer file to pc .
2. Sometimes there are glitches on screen or you can say it, screen flutuates.
I want to switch to stock ROM but the problem is that acidently I have deleted my backup folder. How can I switch to stock rom. Plz help me. Had installed rom by TWRP-2.8.7.0_jalebi.img

I tried 4 marshmallow rom but in every rom after booting screen fluctuates or vibrates sometimes. this problem is not in stock rom. Is this due to DPI problem ? Could you plz suggest me possible solution for this!

Is my download failing because of file system issue ?

nevermind, I restarted the whole process and finished successfully

My yu yunique battery is discharged totally and also there's no operating system installed. Is there any method to charge battery externally. It has non removable battery

You don't know anything about roms do you? IOS is built on a completely different coding language and isn't open source.

Oopps sory but you can build flyme OS for yu yunique.
Because other devices like YUPHORIA has very good room but yu YU YUNIQUE has only few like MIUI 7/8 ,,XOSP,,,CM14.1 ....

that's what I m trying to do I m porting latest stable miui 8 for Yunique I m able to boot it there r bugs like WiFi,Bluetooth,sound and camera is not working

Firmware V1 link is dead. I can't find the V1 link in Google too. Can someone please make it alive

I have searched there and Google too. Can't find it :crying:

I got the V1 link, got installed the firmware. Everything is fine, Except the Bootloader.

I have lost the 'cyanogen fastboot mode' and My Fastboot is showing as 'Yunique Logo'.
Without Cyanogen fastboot, I can't access the 'Download Mode' to patch alternate firmwares.
Any idea about this issue?

My lenovo k4 note totally dead after after a few days installing RR 5.8.5 and Zero addition kernel,charging in the night and in the morning i find my device is dead can't boot ,no bootloader,no recovery ,not even vibrate,can' t connect to pc when i' m trying to use SP flash tool to recover it,can' detect by flash tool ,i was trying every preloader Driver i was found in xda or another site,
Please anyone i need your experience to bring my device up @mohancm i really apreciate if you can drop some word here,please,

i think your mobile is bricked.... download sp flash tool and stock rom....load scatter file then click on download button then connect your phone with a data cable if flash tool do not recognise your phone then press volume up key...and flashing will start...hope this will work
