Remote, pressing up not working properly... - Nexus Player Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've had the NP since Saturday and pressing up on the remote is no longer working correctly. I have to really mash the button hard in order to go up in menus. Kinda sucks, I guess I am going to have to get a replacement through warranty. I do have CEC on my TV and it picks up the NP so I can control it somewhat with my TVs remote. Anybody else having remote issues like this?
Also, I tried to pair a Wiimote this morning, it was discovered but couldn't pair.

xbox 360 controller blinking all the time

Hey guys,
when i plug in my wired 360 controller, everything is fine and i can play my old psp games with ppsspp.
But what is really annoying is that the button in the middle of the controller keeps blinking the whole time - guess he does this because he is not assigned to be player 1/2/3/4 and is waiting for this.
Via google i also came onto this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.poke64738.usbjoygold
After installing and starting, the blinking goes away. But my controller does not work anymore in ppsspp ...
(uninstalling and repluggin the controller makes it work again)
So i tried to map the controls in this ubs/bt joystick center app, but i can't figure out how to do it. It recognizes my 360 controller, but the given mapping is from a real keyboard, with f1 f2 keys and numpad and everything. So either the app is crap, or i am dumb..
Can somebody help me? To either set up this app, so i can play again, or show me another way to remove the blinking?
Thanks
I have the same issue. The virtual mouse pointer doesn't show as well, but the buttons seem to be sending commands to the tablet.

Remote wont enter pairing mode?

Seems that recently my nexus player remote has just cropped out. Currently I'm using the android app as well as the HDMI-CEC functionality through the TV remote. Bluetooth on the player is functioning normally. The remote, no matter what, will not enter pairing mode when I hold the home and back buttons. The LED blinks three times in rapid succession and then nothing. Fresh batteries, nothing. Searched for it with other Bluetooth devices, nothing. What's up with my remote? Has this happened to anybody else? My player isn't even a year old yet :/
Did you find a solution to this? This just happened to me. Thought the batteries were dead but fresh batteries don't help.
Press and hold both the back button and the home key at the same time to enter pairing mode for the Nexus remote.
I've got the same problem, cant pair it anymore...

Try to install Android TV remote app from Google Play to your phone or tablet.

Controller issues? B button backs out of apps?

I've been looking for a couple hours all over the internet and can't find a solution. I've tried three different controllers, an Xbox One controller, a MOGA Pro Power controller, and an 8bitdo NES30 Pro, each suffers from the same problem. In almost every app, pushing the far right face button (B on Xbox) issues a "back" command, same as pushing the back button on the device itself. This will close out of any menus I'm trying to interact with, or in some cases close the entire game. To say the least, this is extremely annoying and game ruining. Does anyone know why this is happening? LEX720, Lineage 15.1.

My remote control does not work

Hi everybody
Suddenly the remote of my Chromecast 4 does not command the chromecast. I have found two solutions;
1) The first is remove the batteries of the remote while pressing home button and then insert the batteries until light flashes. But ligth don't flash in a gap of time of 5 minutoes . The green light is always on all the time
2) The most dangerous is reset the chromecast (In this case it won't be a trouble wether I have the control working but it does not work). I have two cell phones at home with Google tv control but I'm, afraid that if I made a hardware reset of the chromecast these android apps don't work and if remote does not work either I could not handle chromecast.
Any suggestion?
Thanks a lot
