Help Please Since updating to Lollipop a few months ago 2 main issues are becoming a big problem,
the first major issue is at least twice a day when i either ring out or receive a call its completely muted for me and the other caller both ways, the only way to get my phone to call out or in again is to reboot the phone. the second which is a total pain is I'm constantly having to wipe cache partition to play videos in sync. I have tried numerous clean installs of my official firmware with no change to the above issues does anyone know of a way to fix these issues without flashing a custom rom?
Try a different official firmware then.
Try a clean install with Odin, pit and repartition.work for me..gl.

i have a issue with my GS4 9505, my screen goes black, but it keeps running for whatever is on right before that.
it become unresponsive for à time then it become normal.
is there a solution for that issue.
it'snt rom issue cause i flashed with different rom, and now I'm on latest EchoeRom 4.3.
It's a hardware failure or it's the rom.
Did you wipe properly before flashing a new rom? If you did wipe properly and if different roms give the same results, then you should claim your warranty.
It is a screen hardware problem if you have wiped it clean.

Hi guys,
I got my S4 back from the service center today and wanted to re-root the device, however to my surprise my i9505 was apparently upgraded to a i9506 (probably changed the motherboard) at the service center. I didn't have prior knowledge or warning regarding this, as such I assumed the phone was still a i9505 and flashed TWRP for i9505 through ODIN on my i9506 instead and now my phone is stuck on the bootloader screen with the error :"Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."
I'm not really certain what I should do to fix it, i suppose this is a soft brick and should be possible to recover? What should I do to get it fixed? Reflash the stock i9506 firmware through ODIN?

i recently updated my note 3 N900 to lollipop using odin and denmark firmware. after lollipop upgrade the contacts crash too frequently... i cleared the cache,data and also tried with other firmware like RUSSIA but the problem is always there and few days back I downgraded to 4.4.2 and the problem wasnt there anymore...what am i to do?
Sadly, the only thing you can do is wait for another update.
It's a common issue. Google is aware of it. (It happens on the Nexus as well.)

I came from jamal rom v40 s5 port for note 3 on android 4.4.2 and i tried android lollipop resurrection remix and it was great but i decided to return to touchwiz to try s6 port.. i installed it and everything worked fine, except for recording video: when i tried my phone reboot, everytime and also with other application like whatsapp or other camera application.. i can take photos but not video. I tried other rom 5.0 touchwiz and the result is the same, but with aosp rom it works.
what can i do? My friend has the same rom i want to install (dark lord s6 port) and he can take videos so i know that it's my phone's problem. how can i resolve? I want you to know that i can't take video with every touchwiz lollipop rom and every kernel.. i can't understand why

So I solved it by:
Using Odin 3.11.1
I have already tried Factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik, flashed the latest stock Lolipop or older lollipop with ODin and nothing solved the problem.
So I tried to flash the latest stock lolipop with Odin and marking checked (Auto Reboot , F. Reset Time , Phone EFS clear, Phone Bootloader update).
I suspect that the Phone EFS clear did the trick. It's function is related to the modem and radio of the phone. And clearly the modem has a problem here.
I hope this will help anybody out there having this issue.
This problem happened after trying to flash lollipop using FlashFire app to reserve the root that I had in my previos Android KK 4.4.2.

hi guys, i'm a note 3 international version(SM-N9005) owner. Since a couple of months ago my device updated to the last version of lollipop available in Italy (ITV) start to restart randomly and stuck in bootloop and the only way to revive the device is to do a factory reset from recovery. This situation is very frustrating and drives me mad because every time i lost all data. My device is full stock, i've never rooted it and never done any sort of modding including changing recovery. There's a way to avoid this situation?
I had a similiar problem on a version of lollipop, i can't remember what one, an early version.
I just downgraded to 4.4
