Random restart and bootloop problems - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi guys, i'm a note 3 international version(SM-N9005) owner. Since a couple of months ago my device updated to the last version of lollipop available in Italy (ITV) start to restart randomly and stuck in bootloop and the only way to revive the device is to do a factory reset from recovery. This situation is very frustrating and drives me mad because every time i lost all data. My device is full stock, i've never rooted it and never done any sort of modding including changing recovery. There's a way to avoid this situation?

I had a similiar problem on a version of lollipop, i can't remember what one, an early version.
I just downgraded to 4.4

[q] contacts crash on lollipop

i recently updated my note 3 N900 to lollipop using odin and denmark firmware. after lollipop upgrade the contacts crash too frequently... i cleared the cache, data and also tried with other firmware like RUSSIA but the problem is always there and few days back I downgraded to 4.4.2 and the problem wasnt there anymore...what am i to do?
Sadly, the only thing you can do is wait for another update.
It's a common issue. Google is aware of it. (It happens on the Nexus as well.)

Still got no available update for I9500 (lollipop)

Hi everyone ! I have my s4 for like 4-5 months and i still didn't get the lollipop update, i'm frustrated because i have a lot of friends who have got it and mine says "The latest updates have already been installed" . I just flashed stock 4.4.2 firmware so the device is CLEAN. Any ideas ? Should i try to flash 5.0 directly ? Are there any risks?
Samsung rolls its updates out based on region, carrier and production date, it's normally a few months before everyone gets the update. The update's been ready for quite a long time, but even mine only got it last month. Sit tight!
As to flashing, well the risk is bricking your phone.
I know that, and the fact is all my friends are on the same carrier and they got the update months ago. I strongly thinks it's my phone the problem.
No one wishing to help ? I'm sure it's something wrong with my phone, but i can't say what, i am just a noob. Last time i flashed some 5.0 CM firmware, then when i flashed 4.4.2 stock, i had lost my IMEI or something like that, i had to search internet 4 days to 'repair' it. It may have something to do with it. PLEASE help me ! If you won't help i will flash it manually w/e.
You can flash via ODIN, there is no risk and its virtually impossible to brink the S4 if you read well and perform everything according to instructions.
My i9505 was originally from Austrailia - Vodafone, and AFAIK it still has 4.4.2. Thankfully, my phone wasn't carrier locked so i was able to safely flash 5.0.1 of another region and its working perfectly for a long time now.
Flash there's no risk

I had your same problem. All my friends got it in December but I Didn't get it. So I flashed the stock Russian Rom which was the 1st one to come out via Odin. So there was no issue only google now didn't work as it is banned in Russia. Finally after a few months samsung released it for my country and I flashed my country update over Odin and google now also returned. Flashing via Odin is the best way to receive the update for impatient ones like us (oh and don't worry once you flash your country Rom back you will also get OTA updates as normal) l

Note 4 N910C bootloop

Hello famous XDAians.
Need help guys.
So. I have a note 4 N910c which I got as a birthday present some time back.
One nice day i got an update ota but it started bootlooping as it turned on. I tried various other stock firmwares following this. But it just went as far as app optimization and reboot in most cases.
Since I had a device, I didn't really think much of it and kept it for a while and even forgot about it. But yesterday night came across it. Am thinking of giving it as a present to my younger brother.
First tried a late stock ROM from Sammy. Didn't boot. Then I rooted it and have currently installed twrp from Odin. Flashed nougate n7 port but didn't boot. All seems to flash well. So downloaded eRobot ROM also flashed. Still not walking past the Samsung logo.
I also read tonight that the pit file config for n910c is different than others. Is this true.? Is there a way to bring this device back to life. ? Any suggestions welcome.
I had a problem with the PIT on one of my Samsung Tablets and I'm pretty certain it mentions that it's a problem in the ODIN log so worth checking that if it continues to give problems.
Yo mate. Got the pit file. Thanks. Ur on MM? I was thinking that is the only think I haven't tried yet. So yes. Btw.. what is ur firmware version? Which country?
Yes, on MM. I have the XEO (Poland) N910CXXU2DQK1.
