Hey all, I was just wondering which equalizer everyone is using before rooting. I used to be on the M7 and enjoyed V4A but it seems I cannot find a good enough replacement when I'm not rooted. Do share some recommendations with me. Thanks.
I think there is a cm ask floating around. Don't know if it's working though.

Thanks, I see if I can dig some info up on it.

Ive got one, had it for xmas from my daughter, pretty happy with it, wifi is fine not sure about the range as my router is about a metre away from tv so cant comment on that, running xbmc rc3 on it and dvds and livetv works well, struggles abit with true HD as dont think its hardware accelerated. Only gripe ive got at the moment is altho it came with flash player installed it doesnt work ive tried updating it from the adobe archive page but the settings page is just greyed out, maybe someone on here can fix it which is why i just joined

I've got one, I think it lacks good video drivers.
Bad synk audio video, stuttering video.
It has a diffrenet wif/BT chip compared to the 802 but same SOC (I think) so the custom roms from the 802 work but you get no wifi & BT.
The BT exists but does not work with my mouse, it pairs but nothing more, I think the original ROM lacks BT mouse support.
I would say a 802 with working custom ROMs is a much better deal for the moment, but this could change anytime soon or never.
I've had one for a while and didn't use it that much until I flashed finless bob's rom for the imito mx1/2, which has the same basic internals. It is much smoother and faster than before, but this could be partly attributed to the newer kernel this rom possesses.

Not to sound like an idiot because I'm just asking you to repeat what you just posted, but you can confirm that finless' ROM will flash onto the UG007 with no modifications needed?

I have seen Bob say the two sticks have identical hardware. Check for yourself over on freaktab.com

I solved Bluetooth issue by installing a custom ROM: http://blog.geekbuying.com/index.php/category/android-tv-stick-tv-box/ug007/
How to install CWM-based Recovery: http://androtab.info/clockworkmod/rockchip/
Hi!
I tested it more than one time, everytime I go from stock to root (I use the latest ....M firmware on my 9505) I have problems with the sound over the headphones - I tested different headphones, the problem is the phone not the headset.
If you turn up the volume and you have thick bass sound, the sound is "crunchy" (sorry, I dont know how to describe it better) it distorts and does not sound good. I do not use any mod or other things.
It's only in higher volumes, it is the stock firmware - rooted.
Am I the only one who has this problem? Perhaps you can test it, especially in loud, bass heavy parts.
With the stock firmware I don't have any of this problems. The problems are in the stock music player and in poweramp the same.
It would be nice to know if other people have the same problems....
Have a nice day

Ooooh i have just seen that there is a sound problem thread already here.
But if I am not deaf I think it is only if I use the rooted phone... I have to test again...

There's no way a sound problem can have any relation to root.
I am currently running CM so I probably should be posting in that thread. But I dont have permission to post there and also my problem could be hardware related so I'll try my luck here.
The phone doesnt seem to notice at all when I plug in my headphones. The music simply plays through the phone speaker. Has this happened to anybody else?
I have tried two nightlies of CM and the problem is still there. So I'm afraid it could be a hardware issue..

I had this issue, it turned out there was fluff stuck in the bottom of the headphone jack, try taking a toothpick or something thin like that and see if there's anything down there

Wow, thanks a lot! I suspected that this could be the case but only tried to blow in to the hole. Never tried with a toothpick. There was a lot of fluff in there!

As suggested try another headset or try the headset in another phone, also try another ROM. It might be kernel related to. I know codefirex rom for find 5 has not that issue

Today I have CM13 Custom ROM installed on my mobile S4. Which is missing "duble tap 2 wake up" the simple and valuable function. All phones should have this function from the beginning.

Hello and good morning,
this feture must be added to the kernel and CyanogenMod doesn't support this feature.
I would suggest you to have a look at Galaxy S 4 i9506 Android Development. There you can find many ROMs and Custom Kernels for your device, which may support this feature.
If developers would enable Double Tap to Wake by default, your smartphone would use to much battery.
Kind regards and good luck

I'm an android fanboy and always have been however, it's bothering me that the DJI android app doesn't seem very compatible with Android / Samsung devices...
..After a bit of googling it seems like it may be a resourcing issue or something like that where the app can't get CPU or RAM to process the live video stream from the drone, which breaks up and pixelates... with occasionally app crashes. (I've personally only ever had a single crash but i think that was to do with my SD card).
I once read it was something to do with android having so many variants/variables where Apple iOS is much more strict...yada yada.
I am running debloated superman ROM v2.4.1, however across the board there seems to be an issue...
Just wondering if some Android Guru out there could have a look at this in the hope of coming up with a solution... maybe a mod or an app, something that could be used to prioritise the DJI app and clear memory, or otherwise if it's another issue!
Apparently, since Nougat update the issue has got worse. I would tend to agree with this..Personally I use a S7E and also new Tab S3...Both have the pixelation and signal breaking up issue.
DJI have also apparently contacted Samsung about a 'known issue's with Nougat however not seen anything.
I don't want to buy an iPad and just have been dealing with poor performance thus far, just thought I'd put it out there to see if someone fancys a challenge ?? ?
Much obliged. Cheers for reading!

Do you also get the broken picture and green - and sometimes pink - bands?

It's was mostly laggy tbh.

Seems more laggy on my Tab S3. Live feed / cache stutters a bit.

Nope - but read that [depending on circumstances] flying with Litchi can affect warranty. So have been a bit hesitant.
Also, it's another £20 or so on play store?
Think I might have to bite the bullet though. Not sure the UI is as good as GO 4? Anyone?
So frustrating when you spend all that on a piece of kit and they can't pull their software / Devs together to accommodate some of the most popular android devices.
Anyone have any idea what can do to resolve this 'incompatibility' issue?
